10 tracks is the perfect album length

10 tracks is the perfect album length
discuss

try 8 or 9

13, 1 with an intro and 1 with an outro.

12 tracks though

Really depends on the song lengths
De-loused in the Comatorium is a perfect length, and so is Frances the Mute, despite De-loused having twice as many tracks

>album is'nt a triple album with at least 2 hours of music

>10 tracks is the perfect album length

No. It depends on what the album is going for.

>Implying how many tracks it has matters

>15-20 tracks
>40 minutes or less

correct

>Ever wonder why there aren't more
>Then ten songs on most albums?
>Because it's a chore

>Track 1: Song Title (Intro)
>Track 5: Album Title
>Track 10: Song Title (Outro)

Imo as long as they are all the same high quality the more tracks the better

What are some long tracklist albums where you consider every song good? Out of curiousity, not argumentativeness.

...

Albums honestly get tedious after like 15 tracks.

I think 10 is close to the minimum before it feels like it's not really a full album.

throw a nice little interlude in there and its prefect

nah FUCKE that

...

Because who has the mental capacity to listen to a track with substance.

Length ≠ substance

5 or 13 to be quite honest. 5 for more longform, interesting tracks, and 13 for more short, digestable tracks.

You just picked those numbers because they're prime and you're an autist.

Chronic 2001

5 tracks:
8min (kinda intro, becomes more important after several re-listen) -> 10min (heavy, the album starting to unfold) -> 8min (a little rest after the second, buildup towards the fourth, the most underrated track) -> 15min (the most important track, fucking blows your mind several times, the second popular track after the second one) -> 10min (slow and beautiful, with a twist, considered a classic after 10 years).
