Relistening to Joni's discography and I'm up to pic related. Brief thoughts on each:

Dog Eat Dog - Joni giving in to 80s trends, synthesizers, corny drums, and fucking Lionel Richie. Awfully dated but has a couple highlights. Smoke and Etheopia, one has a cool beat sampling a smoke machine, the other is a ballad (Joni's specialty) with a beautiful piano piece.
Chalk in a Rain Storm - Same as the last but worse. One good track at the very end. Corny as all fuck but one track got reworked into a better song with Herbie in 07.
Night Ride Home - Good singles and ending track but everything else is forgettable AOR
Turbulent Indigo - Mostly ballads, a very pretty album, A lot softer than the other albums in the era, best of the group
Taming the Tiger - Night Ride Home but with less good tracks and more tacky 90s pre-sets.

Loved Marquee Moon and TMS, and the B sides on the Bjork single were great.

Not my favorite Beatles record but there's highlights on it for me. A little overrated but pleasant enough.

Low and MM FOOD are fantastic choices. Listen to Take Me To Your Leader if you haven't already.

Cherry Bomb is over hated. Loved it, personally.
