What did these fine gentlemen mean by these stats?
People talking about ejections seem to forget bench clearing brawls helped a team with a chip on their shoulders win a post season. 2015 royals.
Didi Gregorius is the most underrated player in baseball
David Ortiz>Derek Cheater
>tiggers cant beat a guy who frequently falls off the wagon and is chasing pablo sandoval for fattest guy in the majors
i'm going to kill myself if the rangers don't completely blow up the team
Still beats being a >rags fan.
cc is the definition of bi polar pitcher
every since the milwaukee days you can't tell when he is good or bad
this a joke m8? you're not a real baseball player if half of your career is being a DH. DH needs to go, pitchers need to hit. Double switches make the game more interesting. stop being a bostonfag
>catch ball in fair territory
>unnecessarily run another 10 feet into the stands
>would've been a routine pop-up for literally any other SS
Name a more overrated play in sports. I dare you.
in b4..........Damn.
It's okay, I'm sure you're not the only one in here who's failed Physics
Nats desu senpai
I'll take inertia for 1000$ Alex.
Can someone give me the quick rundown on Craig Spiezio? Did he play in the AL or the NL?
You all fell off harder than >we did
I'll take shut the fuck up you cunt for $5500, Alex.
iktfb lets desintegrate together
i love baseball

Me too.

no thank you, scum
>getting feely with a >rags fan
disgusting
so dodgers either give up 4 prospects(one highly regarded the rest wild cards) for yu or calhoun for verlander and maybe Jwilson
>uh oh. where have I heard this before?
Strasburg said he believed he could work through it without requiring a stint on the disabled list. He will be further evaluated Tuesday by team doctors when the team returns to Washington, although he said he will not require an MRI or any further tests.
Michael Kay unironically suggested Verlander for Ellsbury +
Michael Kay is the biggest hack in sports television
That's Skip Bayless
Skip Bayless is paid to say incendiary shit. Michael Kay is just a massive Yaks homer who sucks at broadcasting.

Crawl back into your grave
wow the Mets are shit
Is that an amiibo
The Phillies future is brighter than the Mets future. They have a lot of young arms coming up that aren't broken and shattered.
Do you feel it? All it takes is one. little. tear.
Does it come with a cast and a sling?
>even the bobblehead has a funky delivery
Most of the ones with serious potential are at A+ or lower though. Guys like Sixto Sanchez, Franklyn Kilome, Seranthony Dominguez, JoJo Rodriguez, Ranger Suarez, Adonis Medina, etc. The only arm at AA and AAA I care about is Eshelman, but that's because I really like command guys who don't throw all that hard. Though It's all moot if Bob McClure and Hackanin are still there whenever one of them calls up
>They have a lot of young arms coming up that aren't broken and shattered.
Yes, like wunderkind Jered Eickhoff. Or efficient Vince Velasquez. Aaron Nola is the only pitcher even remotely promising.
This is true
>Kershaw to miss 4-6 weeks
>Scherzer tanking
who will win the NL Cy Young now?
There isn't a clear #3 pitcher in the NL right now, in my opinion.
>Wunderkind Jerakd Eickhoff or efficient Vince Velasquez
You mean guys we got in trades and were immediately slotted on the Major League roster? Like I said before, the AA/AAA/AAAA crop of guys aren't really anything to write home about except for potential, which isn't anything but hope.
If you follow the farms, you'll see the name Sixto Sanchez pop up a lot.
Alex Wood?
The Mets could have had a dynasty and they squandered it for one meme series run. The only thing left for them to do is have a firesale and try to reload for 4-5 years down the road. Comically mismanaged, they're as pathetic as the Whos with out the artistic flair.
Twins are such an ass team that they're managing to fuck up a playoff run in the AL Central
MN on suicide watch
The Mets problem is ownership. Until they fix that, they don't have long term goals
He doesn't have the innings to qualify for any of the stats.
Does anyone know how far behind he is? To catch up?
Gio Gonzalez is another possible
Bad ownership is a death sentence for a sports franchise.
Scherzer isn't out of it. He had one mediocre start. He's still the favorite, especially now that Kershaw is on the shelf for 2 months.
Indians going for the one game sweep tonight
The pitcher has to have 1IP for every team game.
LA has played 99 games - Wood has 91 IP. So he's 8 short.
If he averages 6 IP over his next 6 starts, he'll qualify.
>they haven't won 60 games yet
Rest of mlb are you even trying?
but wood is done now so who cares if he qualifies
Tebows hit 6 HRs, batting over .300, and even made a few good highlight reel defensive plays in 25 games since he's been called up to High A.
Do you think he'll be promoted to AA soon? Do you
>Fake Anze is back again
I would say if he's still batting like this and playing like in late August, mid September I could see him going up to AA.
Quintana
He'll be a September call-up desu. He many even crack the top 100 prospects list next season.
I saw this yesterday i had no idea there was a fake me. Im honored tho
I could see him start next season either on the upper edge of AA or in AAA the way he's been playing
>No game today
h-hot stove?
does anybody want lance lynn
WAR really overrates Meme Betts.
WAR is weighted by position, so if a good player plays in CF or a challenging defensive position, it's usually higher than someone who plays 1B or something if they're a good defender. One of the reasons why Trout is always the leader.
>Cubes
That's it? I thought teams wanted Garcia

NO 10 GAME LOSING STREAK
Reminder that in the last 4 days the Cubs have lost at home to the Cardinals and the White Sox
>the entire city of chicago
Good Game, Who's!!!!!!!!!!!
Wtf is Contreras complaining about lol
I think we can all agree that Ellsbury won't be a Yankee by 2018. Do you think it's more likely for him to be traded, or cut?
>world eries defending champ choking to crosstown rival that's deliberately tanking so they can rebuild
Wow it was that bad? What the fuck happened?
White Sox have some of the best players in baseball and their bandwagon fans are excited to win ONE game?
>deliberately tanking
Nice meme
If they were actually tanking, Clippard would have been put out for the 9th not keeping Swarzak.
>sugarcubes
...
Cubes fans salty as fuck
>Cubs fan: The sox still suck LMAO
>Sox fan: Exactly
Trading everyone away happened. Especially the bullpen being as shit as it is.
>being this mad
Someone must
He sucks lol
>#Tigers scouts have been watching #Brewers #Astros systems could be about Verlander and/or Justin Wilson
I see what you were trying for here but youre no DG
Why would the Astros want Verlander?
Imagine losing to the White Sox ahah
Are we about to witness the fleecing of detoilet part 2?
Possibly. If he manages to get the innings.
