Type 815 spy ship
Type 815 was formerly named as Dong-Diao (东调, meaning East Investigate) 232, but subsequently, the name was changed to North Star after new naming convention adopted by PLAN. After entering service in the latter half of 1999, the ship went through major upgrade several years later, with parabolic antennas replaced by three large radomes. In addition to collecting electronic intelligence, this class is also tasked to perform ballistic missile tracking. There is a hangar for helicopter. Specification

German Chancellor Merkel to raise EU fears over Beijing’s new NGO law and steel production during China visit
scmp.com/news/china/diplomacy-defence/article/1973063/german-chancellor-merkel-raise-eu-fears-over-beijings
Beijing has been actively lobbying for support to try to change the opinion of EU lawmakers, following the May vote, before the December deadline.

However, Stanzel warned that China’s aggressive lobbying might lead to adverse effect.

“If China continues, as in recent weeks, to threaten Europeans with a trade war, rather than to try to negotiate, it can also be expected that China will fail to win Germany’s support,” she said.

Wu Yikang, chairman of the Shanghai Institute for European Studies, said: “China has high hopes about Germany as it has the most authoritative voice in the European Union.”

“China and Germany have established a basis for deep cooperation and strong mutual trust, [so] the two sides will be able to have open and honest discussions.”

Concerns have also have arisen over whether the EU will become a more active player in the South China Sea after the French Defence Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian’s recent call for European navies to have a “regular and visible” presence in the area, which is an essential trade route to Germany and other European countries.

San Diego-based 3rd Fleet to boost East Asia presence amid rising tensions with China
WASHINGTON – The U.S. Navy’s 3rd Fleet will send more ships to East Asia to operate outside its normal theater alongside the Japan-based 7th Fleet, a U.S. official said on Tuesday, a move that comes at a time of heightened tensions with China

It's time we kill them RIGHT NOW. There's no more question, they have gone way too far.

that's a pretty cool looking boat

I'm curious, what is Philippine's view on other asian countries?

Go deeper.
This is just a ploy to 'remind' the japs why they need the U.S. Occupying their soil after the America army guy killed that person a few weeks ago. It's just public opinion control.

Depends how much money and equipment will they get from usa and Europe in the next 5 year plan

The birthday of their political leader

Best Korea

China
Military moves agrressive than nothing special day

We can't care about any asian countries right now except against fucking China. Their coastguards are literally bullying our fishermen when on our territory, the only cork that's preventing us from declaring war against these subhumans is our non-existent military. This is not meme, everyone here are angry against Chinese.

We need a war against the red menace now, before it is too late. I hope America will fight alongside Japan in this war, but even if our country doesn't, I would.

You need Russia to start fucking china over. That will never happen. You need to push the europeans country by country to fuck China. You need to stop the outsourcing of industry, retaliate against the constant hacker attacks stealing weapon blueprints. China has to be cut off from leeching the whole western world + Russia so the small Asian countries can catch up and push back

Dear Japan.

We're sorry we stopped you.
We had been isolated for over a hundred years and had NO IDEA what you had known for thousands.

Chinese people as a whole are irredeemable, boorish niggers of Asia. They deserve to be destroyed.

The fact that our leaders routinely try and court Chinese industrialists is fucking treason, especially with their bullshit claims over the South China Sea, and their constant sabre rattling at our friends in South East Asia.

China is a fucking menace that needs to be contained.

+1

Instead of embargoing the Japanese and dragging us into the war fucking Roosevelt should have GAVE them whatever oil and weapons they need to kill as many chinks as possible.

How the fuck does a spy ship even work? Do the sail along the coast and everyone on board grabs a binocular?

Massive arrays of radio receivers, radar detectors, passive sonar detectors, pulse doppler radars to track air and sea traffic, etc. They basically scoop up and log every bit of radio information thrown at them.

Rivet Joints do similar work in the air.

The co-pilot has been rescued. The Captain still missing. Was it an EMP attack?

>Their coastguards are literally bullying our fishermen when on our territory
and Chinese navy do too for harassment and threatening.

When Foregin navy vessels appear

Chinese navy(Pirates of South China Sea): No! No! We are just patroling for maritime safety! We did not nothing wrong!

No one has been able to do shit to China since the Korean War may as well get use to the fact that they will be a permanent belligerent.

The only thing they are lacking is experience.

I'm going to laugh when we sign collective security agreements.
What a stupid fucking war we fought against each other, absolutely retarded.

Hello Japan i heard you need a big doze of freedom to be delivered?

There are already agreements in place, as well as informal arrangements. Vietnam has been a friend to NATO for years, the US is treaty bound to defend the Philippines, and if China tries any bullshit with Japan or South Korea, the west would insta-tank their economy with sanctions.

If you crash Chinas economy you basically kill the Asia Pacific economies. The entire region depends on China economically and wants/needs collective security arrangements against them at the very same time.

China for you is like Russia is for us.
They keep throwings threats at us.
And act like idiots in air and on the water.
I suppose the apple dousn't fall far from the tree, Considering these two countries past.

I still think all the tensions at sea are decoys for pic related.

dont forget that China is doing its best to get russia involved in the south china sea conflict. And China, for once, is doing a pretty damn good job at brainwashing the ruskies

However, some of Russians always thinks about strong revival of Russia.
A judgment is divided how you evaluate this and Russia's hidden potentials

>This is not meme, everyone here are angry against Chinese.

Not so, my chinese gf's dad and his generation view the chinese favorably. Even though their generation emigrated from China to escape hardship and found a better life in the Philippines.

GF hates the chinese for what they are doing tho.

>Is Russia strong like USSR?
But we are not as strong as we were during the cold war.
Todays Russia is facing a very fragile Swedish military compared to the massive cold war military we had.
>Also i switched computer so my id might be different.

Yeah they have had multiple joint excercises in the last years, But i doubt Russia would help in SEA region as they have fulls hands in Europe.

Maybe not for Finland but for Sweden the threat is larger than ever before, We got a disfunctional armed forces and blind politicians.
Todays Russia is alot more dangerous than the USSR ever were to us.

The time for that was during the Korean War. It's far, FAR too late for that now.

China do something again against India

The Chinese troops spent about three hours on this side of the border before going back to their territory, the sources said.
firstpost.com/world/china-transgresses-indian-borders-for-the-first-time-this-year-nsg-scuffle-likely-reason-2833384.html

What is happening in China?

China transgresses Indian borders for the first time this year; NSG scuffle likely reason
In what the Chinese termed as "temporary transgression," about 250 China's Peoples Liberation Army soldiers entered Arunachal Pradesh's east district of Kameng four days ago, defence sources said. The incident happened in Yangste, East Kameng district on 9 June is yet another instance of Chinese incursion.

The soldiers, however, went back within hours, said the defence sources. Incidentally, the Chinese crossing-over happened at a time when Beijing had hardened its opposition against India's bid for membership of the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG). When Manohar Parrikar visited China in April, issues of strategic concerns and implementation of agreements to reduce tensions were discussed by the two governments.

Probably the same thing as usual when China goes on a provoking spree: something internal it wants to distract attention from.

I heard some Yellow boys might be needing some extra... freedom.

Maybe some Naval Air Freedom, too.

Arunachal Pradesh
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arunachal_Pradesh

This is the first known transgression by the Chinese army this year in the region, which China claims is part of its territory. The Chinese troops spent about three hours on this side of the border before going back to their territory, the sources said. In the past, however, China has on many occasions "transgressed" into the Indian borders. According to a BBC report, the Home Ministry claims that there have been "334 transgressions by Chinese troops over the Indian border" in 2014 alone.

According Harsh V Pant of BBC, such incursions tend to take place between the two countries before major bilateral meets. Indian officials have in the past reasoned China's incursions as a "result of differing perceptions about line of truth," according to Brahma Chellaney in The Sunday Guardian. However, he says that in the Indo-Chinese disputes, India has "always been on the defensive" and that Beijing's "public language" signals Premier Zhou Enlai's words, "to teach India a lesson..

DS Rajan in his paper, Chinese intrusions into India's borders ever end? describes that the People's Republic of China ups the intrusions during or close to periods of exchanges of high-level visits between India and China. With India doing everything it can to secure a membership of the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG), China is in stark opposition.

According to Jaideep Prabhu in an earlier article on Firstpost, China is insistent when the criteria for membership is clear, there should be no exceptions, including India because it would weaken the non-proliferation regime.

Prakash Nanda argued that the Chinese objection to India's membership in NSG is "political" and that China cannot bear that India is emerging as a recognisable force and that for China, "India is part of the strategic periphery which China has historically sought to weaken, control, or diplomatically manipulate."

It wasn't an army guy it was a civilian contractor.

Yes please. Send on of your fleets the kick the Chinese out of the South China Sea and sink their islands. We'll send some help even though you won't need it.
The Chinese need a good beating to remind them that they aren't nearly as hot as they think they are.
