ITT: if you don't agree it's their best album you're a pleb

Okay.

It really is
Maybe revolver though

...

i agree, its the patricians choice

not bad songs or filler, and the entire thing flows rly well unlike most other beatles albums

...

I like the first son, considerably

>Ram is better than any Beatles album
1. Magical Mystery Tour
2. Help!
3. white album
4. Revolver
5. Rubber Soul
6. A Hard Days Night
7. Abbey Road
8. Let It Be...Naked
9. Sgt. Peppers
10. Beatles For Sale
11. With The Beatles
12. Please Please Me

...

Do you skip Flying, Your Mother Should Know and Baby You're a Rich Man whenever you play it? That is the only way to think this

...

Thanks for the bump, friendo

...

>3. white album
>Above revolver sgt peppers rubbersoul

Stop being embarrassing

The ONLY subpar song on MMT is All You Need Is Love. I'd replace it with It's All Too Much if given the chance.

SEEN THIS POST BEFORE M8

Flying in one of my favourites, baby youre a rich man is meh. Generally like Rich man

mmm all too much is fantastic, shouldve replaced it desu

All You Need is Love is a hell of a lot more interesting than the other tunes I mentioned
Flying isn't offensively bad but is obviously filler (to be fair it was made for the film)

I really like Baby You're a Rich Man, don't get why it's so hated

Flying is a really nice palette cleanser after fool

Durr yu rite sgt pep pep and aby rode is bettuh den wite elbum

Your Mother Should Know is the 2nd best song on the album

Dude 1/2 the songs are garbage. The beatles hated making it. If you like most of it it's only because your dreamy boy toy boomers made it.

To each his own. For me it severely lacks the interesting qualities that the majority of the album seemed to have mastered (both compositionally and with the arrangement)

frances the mute
was gonna post this, seriously listening to vega-tables rn fuckin thumbs up

...

but flying is the only good track

>the worst track
>the only good track

duh i dont like sum uv duh songz and duh beetles didnt like eechuther so it BAD AND U BAD FORE NOT LIKING WUT ME LIKE

The Beatles' secret weapon was always their melodies. That's why Paul ended up being the only Beatle to not write a clunker (while still in the Beatles). Melodic genius (at least as far as pop music goes).

I like the song, I just think it is not up to the standards of the highlights on the album (along with Baby You're a Rich Man and Flying) to have it truly be their best album

How would you rank the tracks?
>The Fool On The Hill
>Your Mother Should Know
>I Am The Walrus
>Magical Mystery Tour
>Strawberry Fields Forever
>Penny Lane
>Hello Goodbye
>Blue Jay Way
>Flying
>Baby You're a Rich Man
>All You Need Is Love

penny lane is always #1 for me

>Strawberry Fields Forever
>I Am the Walrus
>The Fool On the Hill
>Blue Jay Way
>Penny Lane
>Magical Mystery Tour
>Hello Goodbye
>All You Need Is Love
>Your Mother Should Know
>Baby You're a Rich Man
>Flying
I love this album and some of their best tracks are on it, but I think Sgt. Peppers edges it out. The best tracks from Sgt. Peppers and MMT on one album would be THE greatest album of all time

...

...

...

That's funny because outside of the title track (and reprise), Getting Better, She's Leaving Home, and A Day In The Life, I don't love Sgt. Peppers.

...

It never existed though

Penny Lane
The Fool on the Hill
Strawberry Fields Forever
Your Mother Should Know
Hello Goodbye
I Am The Walrus
All You Need Is Love
Magical Mystery Tour
Baby You're A Rich Man
Flying
Blue Jay Way

Kill yourself, shitposter.

>That's why Paul ended up being the only Beatle to not write a clunker
Wrong

I see Sgt. Peppers as Paul's songwriting peak, MMT as John's peak and Abbey Road as George's peak (with the Beatles at least). For me, Sgt. Peppers is the most solid front to back than any other Beatles albums. As much as I adore the Beatles, I don't consider any of their albums as having a perfect tracklist although Sgt. Peppers comes pretty close for me

Not an argument

its hated? i find it awesome. so Beatley.

i also knew recently that Wild Honey Pie is hated and even avoided by Beatles purists, they deem it "unlistenable". LOL its one of their funniest and best too.

Kill yourself, shitposter.

...

I love Wild Honey Pie. It's better that any of the George songs on the white album in fact.

directionless non arguments and bland reactions pictures, I'd expect nothing more from someone with your taste.

i got used to listen to the white album on an 1 side a, 1 side b, 2 side a, 2 side b, 3 side a, 3 side b order because the fucko i bought the album fromhad them all thrown mixed in one folder. its pretty good that way.

Off topic replies because of an identity issue. Needs to be validated, but won't be because of severe social problems.

...

>, I don't consider any of their albums as having a perfect tracklist
Why not?

Right

No.

But he had some clunkers

Man idk what you're saying, no need to project your problems into our Beatles discussion. If you look at the sheer volume of 'miss' songs and horrible on the white album it's clearly not to be ranked above their more polished works.

But, you do you

You bought mp3s from some guy?

Cite sources, Get Back to me.

For me, there's always at least two songs that I find to be significantly weak on each album. However, at the rate that they were coming out with music at that time, if they waited more than a year with each album, they would easily been able to come out with perfect album after perfect album. The way that it went, we got more music from them but I think every tracklist isn't as refined as they could have been

Love of the Loved, Hello Little Girl, What You're Doing, Teddy Boy, Suicide, etc

There are more great songs on the white album than Peppers and Abbey Road combined. It's not about the "album experience" to me. It's more about the collection of works.

>For me, there's always at least two songs that I find to be significantly weak on each album
Examples?

>unreleased tracks and 1 early beatles song

lol I am so persuaded.

Nice goalpost shifting

What is it about Paul McCartney that makes you so angry?

Can we talk about Carnival of Light, Sup Forums?

What is it about Paul McCartney that makes you think he can do no wrong?

Also here's another clunker:

was yoko all shit or theres some positive influence she had on the Beatles?

>was yoko all shit
Spotted the pleb
>positive influence she had on the Beatles?
John wrote some of his best songs for her.

>Woman is the Nigger of the World
great inspiration there!

>he didn't think about it

Rubber Soul
>What Goes On
>The Word
Revolver
>Yellow Submarine
>Doctor Robert
Sgt. Peppers (although I do kinda like these songs)
>When I'm Sixty-Four
>Lovely Rita
MMT
>Flying
>Baby You're a Rich Man
Abbey Road
>Maxwell's Silver Hammer
>Octopus's Garden
To be clear, I do enjoy all of these songs to a certain extent, I just think they hold their album back by existing. And it should go without saying, but these are just my opinions on the songs and how they impact me (or don't) emotionally

>What is it about Paul McCartney that makes you think he can do no wrong?
He did plenty wrong with Give My Regards To Broadstreet, Press To Play, Driving Rain, etc. There are plenty of examples of lame McCartney songs.

Also, how do you know that Carnival of Light is bad having never heard it? I'm skeptical of its quality, but it's like saying you don't like the taste of a food you've never tried. Unless you have a preconceived bias against sound collage.

>>What Goes On
Yeah that's a weak song, but one weak song out of 14 is an acceptable ratio, especially if it's a Ringo track
>>The Word
The Word is great; it has an excellent groove, bassline and great harmonies.
>>Yellow Submarine
You don't like fun?
>>Doctor Robert
Another song with an excellent groove the rest of the album lacked, an interesting key change halfway through the verses, and the middle 8 is an excellent contrast to the rest of the song
>>When I'm Sixty-Four
This is a great interlude, and is excellent at painting an mental picture
>>Lovely Rita
What's wrong whit this?
>>Flying
This makes more sense if yous aw the film.
>>Baby You're a Rich Man
It fits the vibe of the album perfectly. it doesn't need to be great, because it's part of a cohesive whole
>>Maxwell's Silver Hammer
I won't defend this.
>>Octopus's Garden
You still don't like fun?

>I just think they hold their album back by existing
No, they all have redeeming qualities that justify their existence.
>I'm skeptical of its quality
Then why ask?
>There are plenty of examples of lame McCartney songs.
Yes, but the fact is he DID right lame songs while with The Beatles. You need to accept Teddy Boy is garbage and John saw right through it. He was right to mock it.

Revolution #9 was pretty good and that obviously had a lot of Yoko influence (not to mention Yoko vocals)

>>Flying
>>Baby You're a Rich Man
>bad
yup, trollman confirmed.

paul had top melody skills, but was corny as fuck too at times, granny shit as john said.

>Then why ask?
Do you understand the definition of skepticism?
>You need to accept Teddy Boy is garbage and John saw right through it. He was right to mock it.
What is subjectivity?

>What Goes On
Best Ringo song ever, and totally solid
>The Word
Acknowledged, The Word is one of the worst Beatles songs
>Yellow Submarine
Did your parents torture you as a child?
>Doctor Robert
gtfo, Doctor Robert is awesome
>When I'm Sixty-Four
Do you have something against having fun?
>Lovely Rita
The most approachable song on the whole album!
>Flying
Correct, this was filler
>Baby You're a Rich Man
Meh... it's 6/10
>Maxwell's Silver Hammer
You Are Obviously A Very Serious Person Of Serious Musical Sophistication
>Octopus's Garden
The distorted backing vocals are some of the most interesting backing vocals in the discography

>Do you understand the definition of skepticism?
Nope, explain it in detail, 1000 words.
>What is subjectivity?
Something with people who have a low musical IQ hide behind so they don't have to justify their opinions

I realize that you're in this for an argument, but I just don't understand what you think you'll gain. I'd rather talk about the music that I like.

agreed

>but I just don't understand what you think you'll gain
It's fun
>I'd rather talk about the music that I like.
You know it's OK to like bad music, right?

1. The Fool on the Hill
2. Blue Jay Way
3. Penny Lane
4. Strawberry Fields Forever
5. Your Mother Should Know
6. I Am The Walrus
7. Magical Mystery Tour
8. Baby You're A Rich Man
9. Hello Goodbye
10. Flying
11. All You Need is Love

jesus christ you two get a fuckin room

>skipping Your Mother Should Know
what the fuck

Just to be clear, some of the songs that John wrote that were inspired by Yoko:
>Don't Let me Down
>Because
>I Want You (She's So Heavy)
>Love
>Oh My Love
>One Day At A Time
>Out of the Blue
>I Know I Know
>#9 Dream
etc

Long Long Long is one of the best songs on the album.

You are equally as wrong as the user you are replying to

Lemme guess, you like While My Opinion Gently Reflects Everybody Else's more?

>Opinion
What? I never mentioned my opinion

you didnt have to express your opinion you autistic shithead. it would be wrong regardless

When you said that two separate anons were wrong. That was your opinion. Indeed not a fact.

Rubber Soul is their best, but MMT is a close 2nd.

Unlikely, I have yet to be wrong in this thread
>That was your opinion
No, I haven't yet stated my opinion.

>more opinions from the angry autist troll

>angry
What? i love The Beatles, and I like both of those songs. What is there to be angry about?
