the way the beat comes in is nice and your voice sounds cool with that transposition but it feels too dry to fit in with the very ambient tones of the beat. i definitely think you have the voice for this (at least with the effects) which is one of the most crucial and difficult to obtain aspects of rap. if you keep focusing on your production and lyricism i reckon you'll be able to make something really cool of yourself.

thank you

i've always been envious of people who have the delivery/confidence/voice for rap, being a famous rapper has always been a kind of guilty pleasure dream of mine but im far too white and australian

if i was going to do it it'd probably be in a more harmonious/autotune direction (think xo tour lif3) than in an actual kind of rapping way

very death gripsy, cool aesthetic and your sound design is undeniably good. however your vocals don't really cut through the mix or sit comfortably in the ambience, it feels like the production is of a higher standard than the vocal processing and delivery which interferes because the mixing on the beat feels far sharper. obviously there's a lot of intensity happening in the recording but it feels just an inch away from coming off as really passionate. maybe try and leave some empty frequencies in the mix for them to sit in so they really cut through or experiment with some alternative ways of processing them.
I usually check out the music of whoever follows me
Rec: - I love how you music sounds like it's ripped right from an old fantasy game - Im really in to it other than how loud it is
Elijah Jackson
this is some original stuff and you have a decently solid grasp of composition considering it seems like you're just getting into this, however more importantly it feels like your sound design is inconsistent, not necessarily in quality but more so in style. just keep honing in on your sound/vision and you'll get it.
strong composition but a bit more sonic variation and melodic development throughout the tunes would sound great, perhaps bring in some other instruments or process the same one in a different manner with different chords/notes to have a deeper and more complex harmonization. enjoy the (You)
you have some cool plunderphonic vibes happening in 2Bad, it personally sounds a bit too harsh to enjoy fully but that's just me and i'm sure it's what youre going for. I really do like the harmonies you put together in that and the more gentle tracks though.
this is good for an 'accident', definitely keep working at it you obviously have a decent grasp of music.
Ian Gray
the sample and chords are great, fit together so well considering the source which adds another entertaining/amusing layer to the track. the drums and sax are so smooth too, very nice stuff
having two vocal tracks play over each other is very disorientating and makes both of them hard to follow. i prefer your clairowave and mileywave chop ups, theres some nice harmonies in them and they fit the aesthetic of your page better imho

i like this
this is my first music in a long time, tryna to make something dramatic and cinematic while still keeping a lo-fi indie rock kind of vibe
>alternative rock >indie >a bit synth popy maybe >proggy structure
Real good:

Thanks. I like the old fantasy game music type of sound.
>perhaps bring in some other instruments I want to, but I make music on an old laptop that can't handle more than about 7 VST tracks at the same time. I often have ideas for background melodies and other things but cannot fit it into the track due to hardware limitations. But I like to think that the limitations force me to be a bit more creative with less instruments.
>process the same one in a different manner with different chords/notes to have a deeper and more complex harmonization I have trouble figuring out how to make that sound good, but I will keep trying.
Thanks for the (You)s.
Asher Perez
love your synth work, ngl i do wish that it wasn't so lo-fi, but it still sounds nice. the instrumentation is solid however your vocals can sound a bit out of place sometimes but im 99% sure that's just because theyre so lo-fi. sick video too wish it went for the entire duration.
you have a strong grip on composition and sound design and create some awesome vibes sounds through that, however im not going to bullshit you your vocal performance is pretty lacking, you do miss quite a lot of notes which is a shame because the production/beat is otherwise pretty damn good and creates very nice atmospheres. when the vocals come in it kind of throws that off and distracts from the lovely timbres surrounding it.

Me Kinda happy to hear that actually. Been feeling like all my shit sounds the same so I’ve been trying different sounds to mix it up
If you are good at making album cover art, please contact me! (At the moment feeling gold, pink and black/white. Huge mirrors like vains down on the valley of a castle that is tall as skyscraper.)
My references were The Cure's Pornography, Cranes albums Forever and Loved combined with early ambient tracks from Burzum. Techno, stoner metal and 70’s Italian proge.

I graduated college in the spring, yeah….. I guess it hasn’t manifested as reality yet Still haven’t had the realizations that I thought I’d have Still haven't gotten all the answers that I thought I'd get
Oh, I didn’t go to Europe Or get a paid internship Or fall in love with my soulmate Oh, I grew a lot in four years Between the rips and cold beer But I’m still lost like I was then
Everybody’s wondering what I’m doing next Well, I’ve been getting real good at avoiding that Wish I could tell 'em Imma bum around and start a band Without feeling like a failure compared to their kids
I didn’t go to Europe Or get a paid internship Or fall in love with my soulmate Oh, I grew a lot in four years Between the riffs and blown ears But I still lost what I came with
Oh, I don’t know where I’ll be When I turn 23 And that’s pretty scary But oddly comforting Because everything I ever wanted is still in front of me
