Well look. That guy is mostly our version of what you see on facebook, only currently we have a lot of people feeling those sentiments because Sup Forums has had a very large increase in users over the past year, which has mainly been a large influx of liberals and shills.
IMO this has had upsides and downsides. The biggest downside is a general drop in quality discussion as its been a lot of retards that can't argue.
You for example are using a name. All of Sup Forums has pretty much always hated namefags because anonymity is a big part of what makes this place unique. You have tons of sites that let you have an identity, this is one of the few ones where arguments are detached from it.
Have fun seeing your opinions shift. Try to temper it because while there is a lot of valuable information and arguments here, there is a lot of retarded shit too.

That is how I started. I was a "Stalinist Leftist," which sort of combined communism with quite a few conservative values. When I saw the effects of mass immigration on Europe, I got REALLY angry. Not the kind of angry where you just think "what are they doing?" No. I was genuinely angry. I started watching "The Golden One," "Milo Yiannopoulos" ,and "Stefan Molyneux." I purposefully exposed to this sort of content and it truly educated me. For me, agreeing with the alt-right in some ways led me to ultimately becoming right-winged.

I was libertarian before the right went bonkers about abortion, isis, marriage equality, social security, anti-background check, among others. that turned me extremely leftist. i just don't understand why there are a portion of these new age liberals that are delusional egomaniacs.
The problem is, it isn't "just" a portion. It is a lot of them. The alt-right is the rebirth of conservatism. Trump has noticed that a lot of people, especially in the younger generation, are socially liberal in the sense of "gay marriage" and "the drug war." Trump has greatly changed the party and will continue to do so.
