Is Darth Sidious/Palpatine/The Emperor/Sheev in Rogue One?

No

He gets name dropped a handful of times

no

Any prequel references in Rogue One?

Lots, and a few actors.

No.

Jimmy smits is in it and there's a scene on mustafar

CGI Tarkin says "my man Sheev won't be happy about this" when the rebels get away with the Death Star plans

Vader has his castle of doom on what's implied to be Mustafar.

Why he would want to live there of all places I don't know..

There are prequel references, Clone Wars characters, Rebels references, OT references, etc.

In one of the games they tell that Mustafar is full of dark side energy now. Maybe that's the reason.

>Bail Organa
>Corusant
>Mustafar
>Clone Juggernaut tank
>Clone Wars mentioned

Cant remember anymore than that

What about Snoke?

Sheev made him live there to keep him angry and hateful

The question is will they ever surpass this?

Why is Sheev such an asshole?

Is that Hammerhead ship design from KOTOR? I saw someone talking about a reference to that

Did little Annie got so angry that he contaminated the planet with his bad thoughts?

At least Mustafar isn't contaminated with sand.

Being an asshole is how he got all his power

Does technology just stagnate in Star Wars?

Isn't Kotor a thousand years earlier yet all the ship's and technology are more or less the same?

More than anyone expected there to be

Volcanic ash is like sand but even worse tho

>why would you want to keep someone in a bitter and hateful mood, constantly reminded of being wounded by an ex-friend, when your power is derived from bitter and hateful feelings

Yeah it's a real head scratcher

Like 4000 years earlier for some reason.

Wow. That's a long time to use the same ship design.

kinda. KOTOR has hammerheads but this version debuted in Rebels

maybe it's just a really simple, effective design? like the wheel.
