Is F1 even trying anymore? The Halo will make them look even worse.
Owen Sanders
Indy cars look very basic and simple (just like the overtaking work groups said is needed for close car to car racing that was then ignored) The problem is that they get professionals to lol into shit then ignore them because thicc cars lamo. They halo will look better than the current iteration but will look ugly when implemented.
I think they're just a little long, otherwise they look brilliant this year. The front view is more flattering imo.
Adrian Taylor
Halo will probably be full of wings and Mercedes will find a way to cheat with it.
Kevin Perez
Can we nuke the bahamas yet?
Leo Morgan
They'll add oil to their Halo. As far as the look of the cars, I never liked the change to the noses since the mid/late 2000's, so the front is not a very flattering look to me. If someone photoshopped the F2004 nose(just the nose, the wings are fine) onto the current Ferrari, I bet it would be a better looking car. The noses now look as bad or worse than that Red Bull notch nose they ran some years ago.

M8 on the straights Indycar is faster than F1, if we're talking about top speed Indycar wins.

LMAO fucking Indonesians are all the same. >pic related
Also: Bottas went 231.5 mph in Mexico last year, which is good enough for the front row of the 2017 Indy500
Mason Bennett
Nah, the Indycar is designed to balance aesthetics, performance, and costs. It does all three pretty well.
The F1 car accelerates, decelerates, and reaches its top speed faster(which is about 370kph at some tracks, almost as fast as Indycars in road course trim). 2014 was the last time an F1 car was even close in performance to an Indycar, that was a slow year. According to Chevy's test of their 2015 aero kit at COTA in November 2014, the Indycar would have been "mid pack in F1 qualifying" that year, which was something like 2 seconds off Lewis Hamilton's lap. Interestingly, the only time the car would have been gaining on an F1 car would have been the corners where the Indycar carried more speed that year due to the insane amounts of DF. If Indycars produced 1000hp like CART did, then they might have been able to give an F1 car a run down the straight.
As it stands, Especially in 2017, F1 cars mop the floor with Indycars.
Evan Russell
The speeds at Indy are an average speed. The cars are doing 240mph down the straights. >almost as fast as Indycars in RC trim *oval trim.
Sebastian Anderson
>The speeds at Indy are an average speed.
Oh right, fair point. Forgot that.
Daniel Ortiz
What would be really cool would be to see the kinds of trap speeds(for qualifying, not to race) we saw in CART. Paul Tracy was once clocked at 256mph around Michigan once. Gil De Ferran holds the closed circuit record at 241mph average at Fontana.
Gabriel Ross
Fuck no man, in F1 pure speed doesn't matter. I said if we are talking about top speed.
Cornering is much more important of course.
Oh cheers man, i'll have to read more on Indycars, guess i just read obsolete info/articles for my statement.
Michael Cook
>Paul Tracy was once clocked at 256mph around Michigan once.
Hanford slingshot?
Jace Jackson
I think he was testing actually. The cars had so much HP in the late 90's/early 2000's, even with how draggy the old cars were compared to now, they hauled ass because they had shitloads of power. If a modern Indycar had that much power, I bet we'd see a 245-250mph average lap. Honda and Chevy define the engines from 750hp on Road/streets to a mere 550hp on ovals.

Ryder Roberts
Reminder that from Hulkenberg's perspective it was clear that him turning would've resulted in losing the rear. He had to correct the front once braking in, so his issue was going in too hot, he didn't intentionally aim to push Grosjean off. I view it as similar to AMX on Ricky but not causing immediate race ending damage.
Jacob White
It was vendetta.
Angel Harris
>HIDF Bullshit.
He had already corrected the car, wasn't "too hot", and was completely in control.
Hulk noticed that the Force India on the outside was further ahead of the other one, so he tried to make his way to the outside to follow him through on the inside line at turn 2. Then in doing that, he was a complete retard and either didn't notice, or forget, that Grosjean was on his outside and drove in to him.
Julian Wright
Fair enough, now, would this be an issue had he started where he qualified instead of being punished for something not his fault? Many such cases where the penalty system has caused accidents.
Camden Scott
>would this be an issue had he started where he qualified instead of being punished for something not his fault?
Surely you're not implying that an "unfair" penalty gives him carte blanche to ram people off the track...
Ian Price
Enough of the leddit larping now guys. Prepare for Kimis spa victory.
Michael Jackson
Of course not, but it is valid that a faster car starting further back is more dangerous. Besides, this incident is literally the only justification for what KMag did, which was pure payback, the starting incident really wasn't intentional and was just being overzealous, same thing Verstappen did.
Lincoln King

This cunt is 100% right.
Lewis followed team orders like he's meant to do, and everyone wants to suck his dick over it. How many time have we seen Bottas follow team orders this season? No one suck his cock for that. Not even Emilia. She only sucks horse cock
>reposting because I forgot the comment :^)
Charles Foster
When are they firing all the stewards and getting some new ones? There's no consistency whatsoever in any of the rulings anymore. One driver can do one thing without getting punished, which a guy in the lap right after will get punished for

Drivers have to be professional, also Vettel mentioned it to Kimi just after. Not to mention the crowd made some noise.

I used to watch a bit of beast when I was a young edgy shit and I did find it hot. That moment when it would cum and the poor woman would have their lips round the end swallowing as fast as they could but it would shoot out the sides. They would pull back for air and cum would just pure down their chest.
And they were always in the butter zone of the crazy-to-hotness ratio.
