Who tried to shoot him at the end

Who tried to shoot him at the end

>chased him down and killed him Tarantino style
Stick to capeshit

it was the brother of the little girl you stupid fucking pleb

even though they found out he was innocent i would have tried to take a shot at him too if it was my little sister

which is the point of the whole movie

no, thats not the point of the movie

The point is how easily a mans life can be ruined by simple mutterings or insecurity.

His life was ruined cause the little girl had a crush on him and he being not a pedo told her no.

If it is the brother then why does he hide that he is still not happy with him?, he is seen hugging lucas's son whereas before he would barely say a word to him

You are clearly unable to interpret basic narrative themes and allegory. Maybe you should stick to "Tarantino style"

ok but you dont shed any light to it hmmmmmm its almost like you have nothing to say and dont know what you are talking about, interesting

Is Sup Forums really this fucking stupid?

He imagined the shot, it represents his whole journey of not trusting anyone ever again

it clearly went through the tree though, why would he image something so vivid, dont just act like people without mental illnesses imagine things that vividly

The scene is real. Someone from the court of public opinion (whether Klara's brother or a random towns-person is irrelevant) has refused to believe Lucas is innocent and has effectively threatened him, warning him he and his family will never be "part" of the community. His experience made him an outcast and there's truly no way back from that.

I don't know, but that is the best horror movie ever made

Nah brah, he got that dank loli pussy

It was Marcus. Look at the facts: Marcus was in the middle of a horrible divorce with a castrating mother yet still stood up for his father. He went to his father to show his support. Lucas brushed him off when he tried to tell him that he was #1 gay, #2 not interested in the hunt. Marcus didn't fit in and related to the ignorance and hate his father was experiencing. Then, "THEY" killed his beloved dog. Would you forgive a group of people who killed your dog? Seriously? Then, fa la la, all is fine when "Marcus" becomes a real man. Marcus promised to kill every single one of them, every one. Now, he's furious at his dad for forgiving those people who ruined both of their lives. Lucas still doesnt see the rage that is inside his son and, instead, subjects him to a party with those same people that Marcus hates. Now Marcus gets his revenge and shoots a warning shot, a "remember my promise " shot at his dad, which is why he doesn't kill him and walks away. He is letting his weak dad know that HE has not forgiven this town of idiots nor the child that made up the story. Lucas is gentle and forgiving; Marcus is not and feels betrayed.

It was the corpse of his dead dog

>"You were supposed to woof after me"

holy shit how dumb are you

oh wait we're on Sup Forums

The ending was not dumb.

God forbid if any movie doesn't end with a killing or a vanquished foe

His son tried to shoot him because he had molested him over the years.
That ending ptm confirmed that he was a pedo.

Wish I could stab this old bitch

I thought that he imagined the ending, his son was shooting at the deer yet he thought someone was shooting at him. I view it as him having some PTSD from the whole experience. It was a happy ending in my eyes, as he realizes that nobody is really there and he exhales as if he finally realizes that his life has been restored (to some extent at least)

>should of

cease to exist, my man.
no, seriously. gas yourself, you cunt.

>dont take a molestation story seriously, molester gets away
>take it seriously, possibly prosecute the wrong man

This is the whole point, she did nothing wrong

Should have vs Should of | e Learn English Language

It doesn't matter who it was, it just represents the fact that he will never fully regain the trust of the town again

He should've gave that kid who falsely accused him of pedo shit a nice baseball bat to the skull.

ok but i dont care about what it represents, i wan to know who did it

What are you trying to say?

he should of gave her a proper diddling

Why you wanted the innocent man to die? Makes no fucking sense. He dindu nuffin' wron'.

do i have to spell it out for you ? jesus christ

...

>should of
>muh action

>should have
>muh representations

yes. because I have no idea. OP used it wrong and therefore he is a cunt.

Then you've missed the point.

i am OP

He should have murdered everyone in the town after his dog was killed

Mads said in an interview that the shooter could have been metaphorical. Like even though he was innocent the distrust from his community would follow and haunt him forever if he stayed there.

collider.com/mads-mikkelsen-the-hunt-hannibal-interview/

Then you're a cunt for using should of.

Boom bow the fuck down

movies only MRAs understand

What's an MRA?

>children never lie
>she did nothing wrong

He is a grown man who was stupid enough to work with little kids in this day and age.

Mail retrieval agent

Men's Rights Activists.

t. knower

If anything the old guy she brought into the nursery to ask the little girl all those leading questions was the one who was truly at fault. Who the fuck was he anyway? A child psychologist? He must be shit at his job from the way he handled it.

>children never lie
Why does this fallacy exist? I'm 27 and I still can remember myself being a lying little shit when I was a kid.

no the brothers watching the porno and talking about it is what planted the idea in little girls mind in the first place

Knowing who shot at him ruins the movie.

The point was, he'll never be fully accepted again by the community. Even if he can laugh and get along with his friends, someone will always resent him for it.

It's one of the most horrifying parts about false accusations - especially with a sexual assault or pedophile charge. Everyone will always look at you differently and in the back of their minds they'll wonder if it was true despite the evidence.

What's up with the granny porno they were looking at on the ipad though? Is it a thing with Scandinavians?

Klara wasn't the only one though, remember? Half the class came out and said how he touched them. This faggot must have been leading them on.

I get that interrogating children is hard and you have to make some allowances, but holy shit.

Who gives a fuck who it was? It literally doesn't matter, that was not the point of that scene. You fucking literal retard.

I have no idea.

I lied all the time as a kid too.

I used to go into our backyard and hit rocks with a cricket bat over the fence at other peoples houses and then turn around and tell my mum they weren't rocks, just bugs.

>must be some pretty fucking big bugs, user. Get inside.

There was another time when our peach tree was full of ripe peaches and I spent all afternoon picking them off and throwing them at the side of the house, then told my mum birds had done it.

I have no idea why I did any of this.

IT DOESNT FUCKING MATTER WHO IT WAS YOU RETARDS
THATS THE WHOLE FUCKING POINT
when did Sup Forums become so fucking imdb-core

I was too afraid to lie, I thought god would punish me. Religion fucked my shit as a 10 year old.

No, it is not

I watched this without any prior knowledge of the plot and when the little girl kissed him on the lips I thought to myself that shit was going down. How do you even handle a situation like this? The way Mads' character diffused the matter by telling her that kisses on the mouth were meant only for mommy and daddy seemed tactful enough but for someone as paranoid and awkward as myself, I wouldn't be able to settle for just that.

The ending The Hunt is one of the best pleb baits in recent years.

Makes me laugh and disappointed in humanity everytime someone brings it up.

>calling it "the hunt" and not Jagten

haha whos the pleb now

Quickly defuse the situation and then call her parents. It's pretty serious and not something he should decide as her teacher.

It was someone he paid to justify the revenge sequel.

She puts words in Klara's mouth, Klara clearly wanted out of the situation, so she said whatever they wanted to hear.

if this happened to you would you commit suicide?
i think i would.

Are you fucking retarded? She couldn't have handled the situation any more incompetently.

BTW, I really hope that's not how allegations of child abuse are handled in Denmark. I thought they were a first world country.

shoot yourself, you degenerate faggot.

As soon as the allegation was made, I'd lawyer up and start raising hell. I wouldn't just "finish up my shift" and see what tomorrow brings, like a tool.

Whenever I see a Jagten thread on Sup Forums I realize how the majority of posters here are degenerate sub intelligent narrative fueled primates capable of only discussing the literal plot points and the linear logical order of things thinking that they are "discussing" a movie

>b-but who did it and WHAT DOES IT MEAN

Fuck off with your yahoo.answers.com type posts

Good casting
this actor's ugliness is really that of a disgusting pedophile you could still doubt him not doing anything till the very end.

Mads has the manly features of a classically handsome man (perfectly chiselled facial structure, sharp high nose, blond, colored eyes) but at the same time he's ugly. I don't know why.

Oh really, what gave it away?

It's like wading into a septic tank and then complaining of a certain "fart-like smell".

He looks like a Mongol.

Wait nevermind I looked closely at his pictures on google think I figured it out. It's his sunken eyes. Also, he's not blond and his eyes are hazel, not blue or green. His manly features still make him attractive though. Not outright ugly.

>scandinavians in charge of being white

There is no more "white" anymore.

>that ugly balding mongol
>classicaly handsome
You must be blind.

it is not the eyes, but the the lack of eyebrows

You fucking retards

It doesn't matter at all if the shot was imagined or if it really happened. It's completely unimportant. What does matter is the result of it and the result is the same

The allegation will always hang over mads and the the "hunt" will never stop because there is always someone that is still suspicious

I think it was pretty clear it was that fine piece of twink ass he has for a son

No.

You're an illiterate fucktard. Classically handsome features.

This is the correct answer

it doesn't matter who did it

>religion does what it's supposed to do and gives you moral guidelines which you follow
>fucked your shit up

pick one

Well then you're a fucking idiot

this is what low IQ plebs who don't know how to watch cinema actually believe

The OP is right

The ending of "The Hunt" should have been that after the first shot fired at him misses, the main character hides behind a tree to take cover then pursues his assailant while this plays .
youtube.com/watch?v=pUwszL6J81I

after a raw, edge-of-your-seat chase the main character finally "hunts" down his tormentor only to find out who his identity is.

the true criminal is then arrested by police and the main character and his new gf and his son go home together.

The ending was perfect as it was.

That shot only intended to show that even though the hero was proved to be innocent, these easy and vicious lies would continue to haunt him forever. That ending showed how easy it was to endanger somebody and how dumb and resentful people can be only because of some false allegations.

he was shooting at god

I know I shouldn't bother but the shot taken at him even after proven innocent represents how the accusation STILL leaves a stain on how people perceive him. The accusation has left him permanently changed.

>should of

the point about the ending is it could be anyone in that community.

is should of the new your youre?
