the comebacks/sports movie

Sup Forums is one big dudebro movie now

I remember fapping to the birthday dildo scene.

same

I actually remember enjoying that movie for what it was.

It felt like American Pie: Self-aware Edition.

Even had some surprisingly good music: youtube.com/watch?v=n2WbBAYJulA

>The pretty ugly girl

top tier parody, nailed it.

Yeah it was the perfect mix of satire and itself being a teen movie.

It's the best of those 'Movie'-movies that were pretty cancerous in the early 00s.

I still fap to the pretty ugly girl, except now that she's on Supergirl.

Fuck, yeah, there were a few of them weren't there?

And like you said, the movie was written with almost fedora-levels of irony, but there was still a plot on display and despite the movie's goofy nature it had some solid actors who looked like they enjoyed it a lot.

Not to mention pretty girls that weren't well-known enough to keep their clothes on.

Pretty sure that chick wanting to fuck her brother gave me an incest and schoolgirl fetish.

I remember fapping to that and to the scene where that old lady made out with that younger actress.

youtube.com/watch?v=8F8MBp-GBKA

That's going to stain!

Like everyone ITT already pinpointed, NATM was great but they went too far with it, thinking that they could pull it off with other genres.

Was the Scary Movie series in this genre? I remember they continued to like, Scary Movie 5 or something.

Jesus Christ they got Sabrina the Teenage Witch into this?

And Captain America.

youtube.com/watch?v=HN31J8s_OzQ

Yeah but Cap' was nobody back then. He probably took the role because he wasn't exactly a widely-known name at the time.

Sabrina (fuck I am not googling the actress' name) had some face to save, didn't she? I mean, she had a pretty bustling thing going with that show, so this must have been quite a step down for her.

Scary Movies 1-5
My Big Fat Independent Movie
Date Movie
Another Gay Movie 1-2
Epic Movie
Meet the Spartans
Superhero movie
Onion movie
Disaster Movie
Extreme Movie
Spanish Movie
Vampires Suck
Movie 43
A Haunted House 1-2
50 shades of Black

That's what pops into my head. Probably a billion others.

Also if i remember right they're usually called "Spoof" movies rather than Parodies for some reason.

See, this isn't jaw-droppingly funny, but it's still kinda' clever and the light humor there was to be had was usually enough to drive the plot.

Not Another Teen Movie was part of my fucking childhood. Holy shit we used to quote that movie in school.

The entire token black dude shtick "I'm just supposed to say stuff like DAMN, SHEEIT, and THAT IS WHACK!" youtube.com/watch?v=Xu9L2FxPTws

The scene where the mean bitch throws a bottle of water on the lead female's dress and someone in the crowd screams "that's gonna stain!"

They also had the Breakfast Club scene with the same principle. So fucking good. youtube.com/watch?v=iPZVX6a2qfc

Fuck I remember some of those. Scary Movie 1 and 2 I somehow remember as fond movie experiences though.

Literally all the others sucked horribly.

I don't know why but I remember being suckered into seeing Epic Movie in theaters, and it might have been the biggest fuck-up I've ever seen.

Scary Movie 1 and 2 worked because 1.) Horror was oversaturated as fuck and 2.) spoof movies weren't oversaturated as fuck.

>Vampire Diaries
>Supergirl
>Fantastic 4/Captain America
>DoA

>you will never have a hot sister that wants your D

>Vampire Diaries
Wrong actress

>you will never be a hot jock that can literally get any girl on the planet

who am I thinking of?

This. Plus I wanted to stool on someone breasts

No idea. But all she's done is Power Rangers, this, and bit parts on a lot of shitty TV shows. Apparently she's in a Disney sitcom now

He couldn't get Jaime Pressly

It was good because it actually had some comedy beyond referencing scenes from other movies.

Yeah he could, she wanted him by the end, but he'd fallen for the ugly-cute girl.

We're horror movies really oversaturated at that time? From what I know the only time that was the case was with the over saturation of slasher flicks every year, from two or three franchises

Who are you two talking about?

He did have her in the beginning. There's even a quote in the movie about her tonguing his balls.

The foreign exchange nood girl in NATM was on power rangers

oh, well which one is she here?

first one

After Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer came out and printed money, everyone tried to do a horror movie. Then all those movies got sequels. Then those sequels got direct to video sequels cause it turns out no one had watched the sequel.

But if you look through the filmographies of every actor in the late 30s/40s now, they were all in a horror movie in the late 90s/early 00s

Cerina Vincent

And the perfect girl was the jailbat in Lost in Space

Austin best character

oh, my mistake good eye

...

>mi scuzi

Sabrina ended years before this movie

>mfw rented this on VHS when I was like 12 and had to make a copy of it because it was so funny

Still funny today 15 years later

No, Sabrina was still airing. NATM was 01 I think, Sabrina wrapped up in 03?

Fun fact: Janie's actress was actually on coke through the entire filming

>you will never do coke off her belly

Oh shit my bad, I live in Sweden and we probably didn't get the later seasons

>tfw she'll never do a line of coke off my dick

>ywn snort coke off her feet

fuck off

You left out all the direct-to-garbage-bin stuff Seltzer and Friedberg are still making like The Starving Games or Superfast (they're worst one to date).

There's also stuff like Shriek if You Know What I Did Last Friday the 13th, which is actually kinda good, and The 40 Year Old Virgin Who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall and Felt Superbad About It, which is fuckinf abhorrent.

Spotted the fag!

I miss the early 2000's

Literally everything great that happend the last 16(almost 17) years was in that period.

Life was so much simpler

Porky's, maybe? It's old but it's pretty funny, unlike a lot of this shit.

I remember fapping to Chris Evans. One of my first perhaps

9/11 killed the momentum of the 90's

Bring it On
DEBS
NATM
Mean Girls

Female lead teen movies were great in the early to mid 2000s.

I always had a love for Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Private School. Porky was good though.

Probably helps that they were all boneriffic too

>Porky's

yeh, she was young once

They were also well written (for what they are) and had decent/good actors as leads.

deep inside the forest is a door into another land
here is our life and home
we are staying here forever in the beauty of this place all alone
we keep on hoping
maybe there's a place where we don't have to run
maybe there's a time we'll call our own
living here in harmony and majesty
take me home
take me home

Very true

They were about girls fitting in at school in the social paradigm.

Now it's all about finding out who they can blame that social paradigm on.

Preferably straight white men.

Epic movie is Patricia taste

Why don't these movies get made anymore? American Pie, Eurotrip and NATM were all big hits in the late-90s-early-00s weren't they?

For every hit, there were ten flops. Like every other time there is a massive amount of the same kind of movie, we got overexposed, and got sick of it.

This, but also porn. The reality is that it is much easier ways for the curious 13 year old to get his hands on much better, much more direct adult material than what can be displayed in these movies.

And naked breasts was always a big selling point behind these flicks.

>The 40 Year Old Virgin Who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall and Felt Superbad About It

That name rules though.

You're a fucking idiot.

Haha, same.

>there are people who don't think Not Another Teen Movie is legitimately one of the best works of satire in its decade

I bet you retards also think Janey Briggs was hot before she got fixed somehow (I'm not sure how, I'm pretty sure they just killed her and replaced her with someone actually attractive)

>Janey Briggs was hot before she got fixed somehow
She had glasses, and a ponytail. And paint on her overalls. There's no way she could have been prom queen

UGH DON'T MAKE ME THINK ABOUT THAT MONSTER

youtu.be/eWyNqiBLTBs

Is this parody kino or parody cancer?

Movie was pure kino start to finish

youtube.com/watch?v=SWhhPWyWCv0

>his hair changes in every scene

>tfw you finish your musical number but the scene won't change

>parody cancer

>>mfw reggie ray died this year

I remember fapping to the sister trying to fuck the brother.

Can he play?

damn his imdb is depressing
>Am I alive? Yes. Am I happy? No. Did I throw away my career to be skinny? Yes. I wouldn't do [the surgery] again. I would much rather have died happy, rich, and kept my status and gone out on top.

BUT CAN HE PLAY?

He's in a coma!

BUT CAN HE PLAY?

>Chris Evans had trouble shooting his scenes with Mia Kershner. Particularly having to reject her pleas for sex as she was grinding on him. As he was apparently very turned on.

SCOTTY DOESN'T KNOW

...

Dude Where's My Car?

I miss early 00's comedy. There was something innocent about them, and most of them were pretty self aware. It was obvious the creators knew it was stupid so they just went with it.

Some I remember having a good time watching:
Scary Movie 1 and 2
Dude wheres my car
Not another teen movie
How high
Out cold
road trip
mean girls
and many more. Some of them I still watch on occasion.

ITT: People trying to justify their natural nostalgia with claims of quality

And now are the worst times ever of course

No. That's all in your head.

There was shit back then. There is shit now. There was good movies back then. There is good movies now.

The lack of quality is because people ITT compare apples (original comedies/parodies) with oranges (shitty sequels, spin-off, etc.).

Of course Scary Movie 11 isn't going to be in the same ballpark as Mean Girls. That's a given. Of course Date Movie isn't going to be as good as Scary Movie.
