>The battle where Hitler could have killed almost the entire Western Allied Army but instead chose to spare almost all of them in the hopes of peace
Does Nolan have the balls to go where no director has gone before?

>tfw the wrong side won

This is Sup Forums

This is not a thread for crying nazis

>Does Nolan have the balls?
No

>blacked

?

Then why the hell would he pick arguably the most Hitler-humanizing battle of WW2 to make a highly anticipated movie about?

>manlet who killed himself

Pure pottery.

>Let your enemies escape
>Lose the war
Tactical genius

Shitposting about Hitler is not for Sup Forums

Keep it related to the film, director, and what the film is about. Not Hitler's obvious loss of WW2 or his height.

>nazis watch out!

lel

Does anyone on this entire board discuss movies or directors or anything?

No, fuck off.

What joker you are.

Hitler was too good for this world.

Is there any evidence to this "Hitler let em go" claim? All I've heard suggested that the reason they escaped was because Goring assured Hitler that his air force could defeat the British on the ground, so Hitler didn't send the Panzers in full force.

no, this is the epic memes board and now /pol2/

Above average height and died of old age in Argentina.

Edgy.

>Hope for peace
>Guys, guys i have broke all the promises i made, i the treaty i signed and betrayed my Allies. But let i will let you so we cool right ? it's not like i'm gonna go after you after i take care of the Soviet or anything xD

Hitler want peace with the British as much as he respects the independence of Poland and Czechoslovakia

If he had killed those soldiers in Dunkirk then Germany would have been nuked to hell and genocided you stupid aryan.

>"Britain we only want peace!"
>produces thousands of V2 rockets for the expressed purpose of killing Britons, even when it was militarily useless and a single V2 rocket was as expensive as a single warplane (which the German air force desperately needed)

Sometimes you can find genuine discussion, but not always

This is the reason I'm interested in the film. I wonder how it will be handled.

Nah bruh. They tried to avoid war with the UK to ridiculous degrees. See Rudolf Hess flight to Scotland.

>The battle where Hitler could have killed almost the entire Western Allied Army but instead chose to spare almost all of them in the hopes of peace
That didn't happen. The only reason why britbongs didn't lose the war right there was the french forces who were stalling the german advance

>Have the enemy completely outnumbered, outgunned and surrounded/trapped against the ocean with minimal support/supplies
>Could slaughter them all in a day or 2 with 1 huge bloody battle
>Let 90%+ live and 90% of those actually return home after a few days of time to escape and show Churchill he meant it when he said he wanted peace with his European brothers
>Gets rejected and then the whole world goes up in flames
Just look at the facts like the numbers and decisions made. Ignore mine and the history books (((opinions))) on what happened.

He literally explains this in his speeches

>We do not want war but we are building our armaments because there are others who likely want war (Russia was going full blown invasive USSR under Stalin the human grinder no matter what anybody did)
Churchill's famous speech and rejection of negotiations was famousish too: "We will fight on the beaches, we will fight in the skies etc etc WE WILL NEVER GIVE UP"

That's off topic though

Nolankino confirmed

and the british choose to fight the armies of doom rather than make a deal wit the devil to save their own skin

sounds based

Men weren't "armies of doom" and if anyone was the devil (noone was) it was the bankers who orchestrated the war or obviously Stalin in terms of savage slaughter of human life. Don't be a child please.

They were mostly just soldiers doing what they were ordered to do for the country they called home for a cause they may or may not have believed in.

...

HE WAS SO FUCKING BASED LADS WHY DIDN'T WE GO FULL JERRYKEK, BREAK MOSLEY OUT AND THEN LEAD ANGRY MOBS TO PULL THE GUTS OUT OF OUR PLUTOCRATIC ELITE AND THE TRAITOR CHURCHILL WHY AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Hitler should have never been the commander, or at least have a military official that would stand up to him on his retarded decision making

youtube.com/watch?v=BFtrBDuVdGU

I would watch/listen but i'm at work right now, any way you can give a summary?

I'm really curious how Nolan will portray this. There's not a whole lot of actual battle to Dunkirk. It was like supposed to be the big final battle of the Western Front and then all of a sudden Hitler gives them a second chance... In fucking WW2. It's as mind boggling as the Japanese missing the aircraft carriers on Pearl Harbor by pure coincidence and really makes the world look like a movie.

this board is for capeshit, star wars and blacked threads, gtfo of here u nazis!!11 XD

your board is shit and youre a faggot and pol will never leave. we own this fucking site

good goy :)

Do you realize youre talking to the OP who is more than fair to national socialists and Hitler?

Stop quadruple level ironic shitposting.

>Hitler gives them a second chance

There's plenty of reasons from many different historians. Maybe he'll cover a few of those. Which will then make Dunkirk more of a drama with bits of action cut in.

This stupid myth again. Why is Sup Forums so historically illiterate? Is this because of Sup Forums influence?

basically hitler made a lot of good decisions and after the war his general staff, being aristocratic careerists who for the vast majority were not national socialists, blamed a lot of their incompetancies on hitler himself. ryan (uploader) says hitler's actual most egregious flaws was his idealism and gregarious diplomacy where he didn't push hard enough on his allies, gave ridiculous leniency (like dunkirk) to his enemies despite that not being reciprocated

Go be a jew somewhere else and stop opening with a question every single time like a reddshitter. You're not even asking the question, you're just saying that to appear shocked to make up for the lack of an actual point to make.

Next time just state your opinion of what (((REALLY))) happened and we will all read it and respond.

0/10

Hmm. Does the uploader have any citations he's basing these arguments off of? And also, if his staff was indeed incompetent, why surround himself with them to begin with? It wasn't like he had to stick with them

He had nothing (like a international banking system) but the will of the people propping him up and centered everything around serving the people of Germany and their allies. I think his leadership structure required voices from lower reaching him because of that.

Imagine a perfect world, kino produced en masse, no mudslimes, no niggers, no sjws, no fat feminists. Just a pure white world, we would be masters of the fucking stars by now.

Instead we get trucks driven by religion of peace and geordie shore.

There's a few kino memes to be made from it at least

yes.

hitler often did get rid of staff members, but the prussian junker class that was the essence of the german military was extremely entrenched and in effect its own powerhouse. leon degrelle's accounts describe the immense bureaucratic and diplomatic disagreements the established military caused in resistance with working with hitler.
