Can we talk about how great this was?

>Amazing performances
>Great score
>Interesting story
>Just the right amount of SJW

MOTY for me

nigger

I hope it wins best picture.

To all the people bitching about the whole #oscarsowhite nonsense, THIS right here was the perfect response. Instead of whining and demanding a token nomination, get out there and make a damn good movie with damn good performances worthy of being nominated!

link?

Very mature, whitey. Go get laid if you're able.

This was easily KINO of the year.

>Applauses you

This. Although the Oscars are shit regardless so it really doesn't matter when they think since they don't even watch half the films.

It made me feel many feelings.
Fucking outstanding.

Intentionally avoided this because I knew it would just be race-baiting garbage.

It's really not though.

I don't like black culture or gay culture so there is no way i will dedicate time specifically to watch this. That being said, reception is really good so I will pirate it and watch it while shitposting. Reception seems to be good so there is a decent chance i will like it and give it a rewatch.

Right now though it looks really black and homosexual.

>watching movies about niggers

Yeah, it isn't. Not even a little bit.

fpbp

what does that even mean
Did you assume that because a black person is in it?

this tbph

>>Just the right amount of SJW
0?

>Moonlight chronicles the life of a young black man from childhood to adulthood as he struggles to find his place in the world while growing up in a rough neighborhood of Miami.

That sounds like every movie about a black kid ever

Oscars don't have a race problem, the problem is that its a circle jerk of elitist fucks who often don't even watch nominated movies.

>Just the right amount of SJW
Meaning none?

Ironically, blowing off a movie this good because you don't like blacks or gays makes you a much bigger faggot than the literally homosexual main character. Get it together, user.

or maybe Im tired of watching the same movie or just not in the mood for it. do you question my sexuality when I don't watch action films?

Then you wouldn't be blowing it off for the reasons I listed, and my insult does not apply to you. Calm down bb.

>Just the right amount of SJW

The right amount of SJW is none.

I can't say if it's good or not because i won't watch it and I won't watch it because subject matter doesn't interest me. I also don't like horrors, does it make me a ghost?

There is literally nothing in this movie dealing with racism, beyond the acknowledgement that he's poor and was exposed to drugs, which is not exactly a controversial set of circumstances for a black kid growing up in America.

The gay stuff isn't even thrown in your face very much.

Maybe it sounds cliche, but it really is about a person struggling to figure out who he is. It does that better than any other movie with a similar concept, and it does it without being sappy or over the top or overly sentimental.

>I don't like black culture or gay culture

That's the silliest excuse I've ever heard. Do you avoid mafia movies because you don't like criminal WOP culture? Do you avoid historical movies because you don't like oppressive tyrannical cultures? Grow up.

They're the same themes as in Boyhood. The difference is, Moonlight is actually good.

>Do you avoid mafia movies
Actually I do. It's not like I'm afraid of them, I just don't actively seek them out. I don't enjoy mafia vibe, their mannerisms etc. so I just watch other stuff that I like more.

Think about subject matters as fetishes: if you don't like traps you won't seek trap porn or watch trap vids, no matter how femenine her dick was.
