Terrible attempts lads. Disappointed in all of you.

what a disaster this thread is

>oldfag is supposed to be an insult now

As in your anime images are old as shit.

There is literally nothing wrong with old anime.

>It's old so it's bad
Alright 1998 kid. Go watch Tokyo Ghoul and Baruto and fuck off

I don't think you understand how the term 'oldfag' works, friendo

>normie telling people how Sup Forums works

>normie
The correct term is normalfag

>Babie's who only came here on this Summer thinking they know how Sup Forums works

I've seen "oldfag" used to refer to people who were just old as well, though some use "elderlyfag" to distinguish. Sup Forums truly has a fascinating vocabulary.

>a normie has to show you how basic Sup Forums lingo is used

Perhaps you'd be more comfortable with the people in this photo

>ywn lick Josie's thighs

Problem is I've been here for years but he's still a normie.

>Babie's
What?

>been here for years
>not recognizing Rusty's lysdexia at first glance

It's pretty much a meme at this point

>He won't if he knows what's good for him.
w-what

Search for Jaggy, Asuka is my avatar.

A week of wageslavery with overtime would do that to anyone. I think he's a nice guy, his posts lean negative sometimes but they're usually well reasoned and receptive to debate.

Added you

Jaggy I struggle to understand how someone can be as level-headed and reasonable as you, especially in a place like this.

>lysdexia
>typed this out in the searchbar before realising the joke

kek

This place isn't so bad. Most of the time.

I've been browsing Sup Forums and other chans since 2007 and I still don't think I'm an oldfag.
I think if you want to be a proper internet oldfag you have to been a regular user of somethingawful prior to the creation of Sup Forums.

I would have agreed but an awful lot of new people came to the site because of Sup Forums over the last 3 years who are a very different breed of younger phoneposting people and I definitely think I have more in common with the ancient something awful people than I do with 18 year olds obsessed with gamergate and SJWs.

With regards to Sup Forums, 2006 seems to be the oldfag cut-off point. Sometimes I wish I was on the internet during the 90's though. If you ever look at usenet posts from then through Google groups it looks comfy. It would also be nice to have played Quake online when it was fresh. That said dial-up was shit

Maybe you are the true thiskekix here
I used to browse newgrounds from like 2002-2008. I was a literal child tough. Didn't come to Sup Forums until 2009 or so. Not certified oldfag. Not until 2019 where I've been here for 10 years
I wish Cripple chan was still a thing so it'd take in the Kekistani babies
Ever look at old chat rooms? I remember seeing a Duckman forum from 1997 where people in Bongland were driving half way across England just to swap tapes of like 3 episodes of Duckman they recorded of tv

>wish I was on the internet during the 90's
I wish the internet was only used by engineers and computer science people, like back in the day.
Letting in creative types, normies and neets has led us to where we are today.

Early 00s internet was definitely a lot more interesting and less structured than it is today.

Moot came from SA because he was inspired by 2chan's success.

SA today is literally no different from NeoGAF

>Letting in creative types
If we didn't let them in, how else would we get weeb fan art?

The people that call themselves oldfags tend to be grumpy young old men complaining about newfags even when they were just as bad when they were new.

Maybe our minds wouldn't have been corrupted in the first place.

By getting them off "that kid".

this

>had to wait until after 6 o'clock to use the internet because it was cheaper
>ma would ask me what I wanted to use it for
>tell her I just wanted to download and print out cheats
>was really browsing shit like Gamespy Arcade chatroom that were probably full of pedophiles, trying to get games like Total Annihilation and Army Men to work on my shitty dialup connection and looking up sites like 'tits.com'

A simpler time

>Go to IMDB board in 2003
>Any movie
>I am 25 but love women twice my age/the Cadbury bunny/My younger cousin
>Is there anything wrong with me?

>That kid who Googled "naked 11 year olds" because he was 11 so he taught it was ok

>I wish the internet was only used by engineers and computer science people, like back in the day
I remember seeing screencaps of this 12 year old girl in the mid 90's who's father was a university lecturer. She used his computer to shitpost about anime.

Speaking of which, anyone see all those old chatrooms Google released last year? You could see posts made by Gaben asking about depression.

>Only allowed 3 hours per week on the dialup connection
>Spend it winning furniture on habbo hotel, opening a shop in Neopets and downloading oceans of Final Fantasy fanfiction to read offline.
I was so much more productive with my online time when there was a time limit.

>I wish the internet was only used by engineers and computer science people, like back in the day

Bit extreme, I don't mean to sound like a wrong generation type. I acknowledge the internet has gotten better since the 1990's, I was just saying how I would've liked to experience it a few times for the novelty. That said, I think the internet has also gotten worse since the 2000's. The 2000's internet was a happy-medium of having enough traffic for activity, good internet speeds but no phoneposters. People say smartphones and social media killed the internet but I'd say only smartphones are inherently bad. Like 10 years ago there was Bebo which everyone had but they only checked it like once or twice a day from a desktop computer. It wasn't ubiquitous or an extension of real life like it is today so it was fine by itself. Smartphones have also lead to developers aiming software and websites at phone users. Windows 8 showed this. You could also argue other factors have ruined the internet such as the internet getting centralised to the main websites or the increase in javascript but the smartphone stands out as the main problem currently

>ancient something awful people than I do with 18 year olds obsessed with gamergate and SJWs.
Yeah thats how I feel too. I forgot those stupid things existed. It was an absolute plague of cancer.
I'm 25 now and I'm noticing I don't really fit in with the younger generations as much anymore. Even though I still feel like im 19.
>Sometimes I wish I was on the internet during the 90's though.
Yeah I love finding old 90's forum discussions. It was a different time. I have used a ton of IRC networks over the years and now I just lurk in a couple small networks.
>Cripple chan was still a thing so it'd take in the Kekistani babies
See I don't even know what this shit means. I don't even know what it means because it seems every community that uses kekistani or whatever is horrible.
I moved out of my Sup Forums phase after a couple years on Sup Forums. I spent a huge amount of time contributing to /n/ and old /r9k/ before it was a place for bittervirgins to reeeeeeee.
It used to be a really interesting social board with lots of OC.
Moved onto browsing Sup Forums and /jp/ for years too. Now I only come to /éire/.
It's been a hell of a ride. There were so many hilarious moments. cracky chan, chrischan, boxxy, angry homo kid and tons more.
Holy fuck I loved newgrounds as a teenager. I always aspired to be a flash artist but i was so bad at it and the animation aspect was too complicated to figure out.
I remember late 90's/00's internet but I was too young to be involved in any discussion boards etc until about 2005. Mostly just looked at pictures of cool shit I googled and playing games.
Yeah I know moot came from there. I never bought into SA desu because it's way past its prime and is now just a boring forum full of long time elders.
Yeah pretty much. I don't even like attaching the term "fag" to the end of titles but I've been doing it anyway.

What a fucking wild ride it's been.

I had a friend who found tons of CP on limewire and saved the pictures on his desktop. He thought it was fine since the kids were his age, I don't think authorities were even aware of what was being shared online at the time.

>using a program called Morpheus which was essentially a knockoff version of Limewire
>unwittingly downloading CP instead of music files
Videogames are another example. I have access to potentially thousands of games on my PC right now and I don't feel like playing anything, not even counting my PS4, Vita or older consoles. I remember renting games out of Xtra Vision as a kid and playing them to death because I didn't have anything new to play

>that kid who googled sex.com in the middle of class

>make a youtube account
>have two subscribers
>get award for 30th most subscribed channel in Ireland

>That school that blocked Sup Forums
>tfw just used one of the 3rd party archives and went through the gateway link

>Like 10 years ago there was Bebo which everyone had but they only checked it like once or twice a day from a desktop computer.

One thing I always thought was funny about this was seeing mutuals of lads I was friends with from school on Bebo. All of their profile pictures were taken from a shitty webcam in the same internet cafe on Talbot Street in town, presumably because they didn't have a computer at home so they had to go there after school to check their Bebos

>the top five are pretty unsurprising
I'm pretty surprised Yahoo is that high.

>Look up Pokémon Blue cheats
>Catch Mewtwo with a Pokéball
>Nickname it Pokegod
>Raise to level 100 only fighting Magikarps
>Fly to Mt Moon
>It will evolve into Mewthree
There was no way the Gardí knew. Hell Irish internet is still barely monitored as far as we know, torrenting is illegal yet you never hear of anyone getting done for it
>That kid who was innocently Googling cars and accidentally went onto a nude women on cars site and got in shit for it
AVGN episodes, maximum comfy
Everyone only used to look at Facebook a couple of times a day until smart phones
>2010 FB
>Any1 goin on de tare 2nite
>Next day
>Never drinking again :(

>Videogames are another example. I have access to potentially thousands of games on my PC right now and I don't feel like playing anything, not even counting my PS4, Vita or older consoles. I remember renting games out of Xtra Vision as a kid and playing them to death because I didn't have anything new to play
Yep. I used replay the games I owned multiple times as a kid as well, I'm lucky if I get to play through a game once ever now.

>board of management blocks youtube in all schools
>annoyed because can't watch videos
>teachers were also annoyed because they wanted to play videos

I think that's a getting older thing. When you're a kid you've loads of free time and only like 7 games so you make due

I imagine there's a lot of people that did shit like that, law enforcement probably prefers to save their resources for the ones distributing. The most they would do is put your friend on a list.

>went to the Stephen's Green shopping centre as a teenager with my mates
>they had those public internet boxes built into the wall
>would put in a couple of quid, bring up Meatspin and then walk away immediately
>we'd then watch people's reactions walking past

There was a court ruling a few years ago as far as I remember. Eircom wanted to implement a three strike rule to deter people from downloading copyrighted content and cut them off if they got three strikes, but it was found to be an invasion of privacy/unconstitutional because they'd actually have to monitor your net usage to see what you were downloading in the first place.
feels bad

>only 7 games

Found the lad who was an only child

>>would put in a couple of quid, bring up Meatspin and then walk away immediately
Jesus those were fun times.
>Use friends family computer
>Change the desktop to something disgusting like tubgirl
Fraping can get you in so much trouble now, it can cause their eldery relitives to have heart attacks and go psycho or make the lose a job

>That kid who Googled "naked 11 year olds" because he was 11 so he taught it was ok

>quoting the entire post

My mates with siblings their age had double or triple the games as me cause Timmy got one game for his birthday, Eamon got one with his communion money and Emma got one for Christmas. I was lucky that I never had to worry about save files being written over or deleted and some sibling fucking faught like shrews and never let their brother or sister play their games, even when their multiply files which is just cuntish

>Fraping can get you in so much trouble now, it can cause their eldery relitives to have heart attacks and go psycho or make the lose a job
>having your gf break up with you because she thought you were the one to put up all that gay porn on your myspace

I love all those old media "Who is this Sup Forums" tier reports
>That wan in the dole who tried to stop Facebook rape in 2011

Can't wait for the Prime Time segment on /éire/.

I don't think I ever had an issue with save files desu. When I was 6 my older brother put some emulators and a bunch of ROMs on the hosue computer so it was nice to have the variety of choice. I haven't owned a physical copy of Pokemon since Red for example

>schools admin user name and password were literally "username" and "password1" and i could fuck around with everything until they eventually changed it a few months later.
>Hell Irish internet is still barely monitored as far as we know, torrenting is illegal yet you never hear of anyone getting done for it
Yeah the internet was very loosly regulated up until the past 5 years or so. But I think the brits heavily monitor our internet. And the gards are actually starting to get a lot better at cybercrime and stuff lately.

>go to gamefags
>look up Pokémon events
>feel sad that they never come to Ireland

>be younger brother
>know the value of save files
>never overwrite one, not even on games with only one save slot
Who /goodboy/ here?

All it would take is one incident in the name of this general and there'd be national hysteria about us.

Play 3 hours of some game on ps1 and got really far into it without saving. Then when I went to save both my memory cards were full.
>Can't turn off ps1 to access the memory cards or i'd lose my progress.
>Can't save anyway.
>Run down the road to my neighbor and ask to borrow his.

Wonder what kind of incident we would have? Whats the most likely thing somebody here would do irl to draw attention to us?
Either way the day that happens I think it would be the end. The influx of nomals into here would destroy the thread.

Why is food so expensive
How much is the tax on food? In spain its 8% i think.
Fruit and juice are specially pricy
>2L coke, 1L berry juice, 4 yogurts
>fucking 5,80€

>Sister installed a gameboy emulator and the Japanese version of Pokemon Gold for me on the computer before it was even getting coverage on its release here
>Felt like I had gotten something from the future
>School friends didn't even believe it was real

I would willingly surrender myself to the Gardaí if it meant I got to sit in court and explain to the judge the meaning of /éire/ memes.
>What is a "weeb"?
>Who is Kev?
>Why do you have so many images of anthropomorphised Nazi water vessels saved on your hard drive?

Standing in the vicinity of Joan Burton's car door as she attempts to open it would probably work.

...

>That kid who's dad went to Japan and got his kid a Lugia card but he never brought it to school

There was an old transcript for a Sup Forums related court case that was full of things like that. I remember the judge requesting an explanation of what "animu & mango" meant and a cross examination to press for a definition of rickrolling.

>getting breakfast roll at Texaco
>Joan Burton tries to cut in front of me
>tell her to fuck off
>Gardaí suddenly burst in and tackle me to the ground for falsely imprisoning her
>look up to see her chomping down on my breakfast roll
>tfw

Frogweeb finally cracks.

He was right, some faggot might steal it.

>Female to Male transperson in my school.
>Looked like a really cute nice girl before transitioning.
>Ended up looking 100% like a man and is a hardy fucker.

That's what I was referencing, moot was the one on trial.

I'm going to Galway city tomorrow, anything I should see or do there? Anywhere nice to eat?

>Female to Male
What a waste. Wonder what it'd be like to have sex with someone with the body of a man but a natural vagina. Not nearly enough reverse-trap porn out there.

Come drinking with me in Sparch.

>Sparch

Spanish Arch. It's a nice patch of grass by the sea that's great for hanging around and drinking cans.

Why are you going to Galway? More importantly WHO are you going with? I'm onto you, normie.
I don't know. I think FtM can pull it off really well and there are probably surgeries to give them good penises or whatever. It's not something I was going to ask him.

Related but the other way around: youtube.com/watch?v=chtuIQgvFQs

Maybe, he has been drinking a lot lately. I still think Poi's the crazed one.
>/éire/ meetup
>everyone sitting around, having the craic
>grown man dressed as Japanese boatslut enters
>youtube.com/watch?v=_oLzX0RPquk starts playing.

I didn't mean it was a "waste" because she wouldn't look good as a man, on the contrary FtM tend to look a lot better than MtF. I meant it was a shame that there's one less cute girl in the world.

Why aren't you guys in /brit/? Why would your cunt need its own general?

Have the orchard thieves ready
>Why are you going to Galway? More importantly WHO are you going with? I'm onto you, normie.
A training class for work. I should be free in the afternoon to explore the city.

Finnally, an excuse to post this again.
