how is she from Iceland?
Gonna keep this thread alive for you OP.
got excited cause i thought it was something she did recently and it's actually good, then looked and it's off pagan poetry. fml
She was born there. Duh.
Well it's still something she did that was good, so..
...
a icelandic-born japanese then
Thats just basic ambient
Try this and maybe oval - 94 diskont
Honestly, she doesn't look that Asian aside from her eyes. You can see it as she gets older.
Well of course it's ambient, but I'm talking about the feel of the song
Not really sure how to describe it. It sounds very whimsical and organic I guess.
I'll check these out. I know she worked with Oval around that time
She worked with Oval? Can't imagine Oval stooping that low
some organic ambient by david firth. It's underrated honestly
>calming

Got some Akira Yamoaka vibes from it. Definitely skim through the Silent Hill 2 soundtrack at least.

I think it's an odd Nordic thing, must be some old inuit ancestry somewhere. Ive seen a Russian with white looking parents with these eyes as well. Just looked up Bjorks parents and neither of them have em either.
A lot of Slavs and Nordics look Asian.

great track desu
what is this? i like this very much
I'm half Japanese and I have the same fold that Bjork does. Her father just has saggy eyelids or hooded eyes, he doesn't have an epicanthic fold. It's the fold that goes over to cover the corner of the eye. Not only does his eye fold not cover the corner it's not even touching the corner. That's what looks "Asian". It's not that uncommon for white people to have the folds just extremely rare in the west.
And her mum?
It becomes kinda obvious that she doesn't look very azn or inuit from the side. Despite her hooded eyes she has recessed eyesockets, a wide mouth and a very forward projected bone structure uncommon in Asians (maybe more common in Japanese people due to ainu influence, like Ken Hirai) or aboriginal people, making her face look elfin more than anything
She definitely doesn't have em lol. Bjorks don't look exactly Asian either I wonder if the Nordic version of epicanthic folds always look that way cause the fold doesn't go past to cover her entire lid like it does most asians.
Must be a recessive gene both of her parents had.
Yeah I agree, her lids also look more like the after picture and mine used to look more like the before (I got lid surgery like a dumbass).
