Is this officially radioheads best album?

is this officially radioheads best album?

That's not Kid A

That's not Amnesiac

"No."

That's not OK Computer

This:)

that's not A Moon Shaped Pool

That's not Pablo Honey

dude what if our songs had no climax and just droned on for 6 minutes and then just ending

kid a > amsp > amnesiac > tkol lftb > in rainbows > httt > okc > the bends > tkol studio > life of pablo

anything else is wrong

>Not having IR at the top
>"Anything else is wrong"
You sure about that?

>house of cards, all i need, nude
im being generous by putting it above httt

>house of cards, all i need, nude
>bad
Good lord of the...

Ful Stop?

OFFICIALLY no

but it is

sounds like good shit, are you in a band?

Why do you hate it?

Literally no song from AMSP does this, so what's your point?

>ANY of those songs being bad
Holy fuck get out of here.

OkC > Kid A > In Rainbows > The Bends > Amnesiac > A Moon Shaped Pool > Hail to the Thief > The King of Limbs >>> Pablo Honey

It's not a bad album, but definitely one of Radiohead's worst, along with TKOL and Pablo Honey. Although it has some killer tracks like 2+2=5 and There There, the production and songwriting leaves a lot to be desired for a band that released two of the best albums of their respecting decade. Sit Down Stand Up and Punchup are just fucking awful.

>Bends above Amnesiac, AMSP, and HTTT
>OKC above Kid A
yuck

house of cards is a good 2 minutes too long
all i need and nude are sappy and zzzzzzzZZZzZzZZzzZ. if it werent for Godrich they'd be Bends-tier

>they'd be Bends-tier
They'd be second best album tier? Sounds like the opposite of a problem.

>bends
>second best album
>right after in rainbows
lmaoing at your life

It's the true ranking, dude.

In Rainbows > The Bends > Kid A > OK Computer > A Moon = Amnesiac > Hail To > The King > Pablo.

Yes, it is

AMSP>Kid A>Amnesiac>In Rainbows=OKC>HTTT>>>>>>>The Bends>TKOL>>>>>>>>the one with "Creep" on it

>Amnesiac fags

has high highs but some real fucking low lows
>scatterbrain, drunken punchup, sail to the moon, we suck young blood
remove these bloats and then its pretty good

Kid A > IR > Bends > AMSP > Amnesiac > OKC > TKOL > HTTT > PH

>bends above okc
okc is literally just a better bends
>in rainbows above amsp
amsp is literally just a better in rainbows

Second best.
OKC > AMSP >>> IR > Kid A >= HTTT > Amnesiac > Bends > TKOL >>> PH

It took a while but honestly amsp has grown on me more than any other of radiohead's work. its the only album by them i still listen to frequently

this by far

Most reddit ranking of radiohead I've seen.

>Most reddit ranking
What does this even mean?

Amnesiac > OK Computer > Kid A > The King Of Limbs > A Moon Shaped Pool > In Rainbows > The Bends > Pablo Honey

It means he doesn't like it.

Amnesiac > A Moon Shaped Pool > Kid A > The Bends > The rest

Hello friend. Thats my ranking too.

defend the fact that the whole album can be listened to and enjoyed and its top comfy

>A Punchup at a Wedding, Sail to the Moon, We Suck Young Blood
>bad
But those are the best songs on the album. HTTT really isn't that bloated at all, to be honest. Scatterbrain is anticlimactic as the second-to-last song, but everything else is great.

oof sail to the moon is so good though

I don’t it’s my fave ^^

it means hes a fuckin sped

The superior album.

>songs had no climax
tfw all these kids cant get a subtle climax; is better than a pop song climax.

i think this album is good

there is no best

you all wrong

Amsp balances bleakness and comfy like few albums can

its not really that the songs are bad
they just ruin the flow of the album to the point where its better off skipping over them entirely

the biggest examples:
>sit down stand up -> sail to the moon
>where i end and you begin -> we suck young blood
>myxomatosis -> scatterbrain -> a wolf at the door

...

...

it really does.

it's pretty cool how Radiohead still "got it" after, like, 30 years

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Pablo Honey. The lyrics are extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer’s head. There’s also Thom's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his songwriting- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these lyrics, to realise that they’re not just depressing- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Radiohead truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the humour in Thom's existential catchphrase “I'm a creep, I'm a weirdo, what the hell am I doing here? I don't belong here.,” which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev’s Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Thom Yorke's genius wit unfolds itself on their stereos. What fools.. how I pity them.

And yes, by the way, i DO have a Radiohead tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It’s for the ladies’ eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they’re within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid

>I fuck that pussy
>I make her drool
>til her juices fill
>A Moon Shaped Pool

I dunno about you man but his lyricism has gotten shitter over the years

Also this so Yeah I mean we're kind of all aware that In Rainbows is the most enjoyable Radiohead album and really is just the best. No real way to argue against that it kind of speaks or self when you listen to their albums.

It's their third best IMO, and I personally think it's a direct improvement on the two albums prior to it.

...

this

Yeah

Scatterbrain is underrated 2bh

Why are radiohead fans so straight?
Must be the most heterosexual fan base on the planet

>tkol above anything

In Rainbows>OkC>AMSP
And the rest is actually pretty awful.

I'm biased as a big fan, but I agree. I was worried after tkol was a little shakey I felt, not bad but not as confidently great as usual. Amsp made it clear that they still understand what it takes to make an album great.

Disironically this.

have you listened to the LFTB version??
if not, don't (you) me

Agreed. It's probably in the top half of the album to me, the narrative's that of walking through a natural disaster but to me the track's as pleasantly breezy as a nice autumn afternoon.

TKOL really is the ultimate pleb filter

My nigga.

...

...

i feel bad for your mother

is it just me, or is A Moon Shaped Pool kind of a dumb title?

This album unfortunately was a let down. At least it’s better than Pablo Honey. Hoping their next album isn’t such a fucking snooze fest like this. A Moon Shaped Drool zzzzzzzzzzzzz

...

why did they make it a blanket?

Hotel Mario No

why would i hate it ? it's in my top three

because merchandise because business because money

Punchup and Young Blood are indeed crap, Scatterbrain and Sail to the Moon are good.

Better album:

2+2=5
Sail to the Moon
Go To Sleep
Where I End
The Gloaming
There There
I Will
Gagging Order
I Am Citizen Insane
Myxomatosis
Scatterbrain
Fog (Again)
and maybe Wolf at The Door, but I've never liked it personally.

Switch The Bends and AMSP and we have a deal. I still can't choose between Amnesiac and In Rainbows, they are great in different ways.

>Sail to the Moon

it's one of their best ballads ... go eat a bag of dicks desu

All of these are acceptable choices. AMSP is pretty good, but it's not their best. I'd put it on roughly the same level as Hail To the Thief.

this
i put it a little higher than HTTT

thats not pablo honey

*this is an underated post*

Who do you prefer Neil Young or radiohead?

idk but it was a huge fucking leap from that TKOL nothingburger

Patrician here. Here is the true ranking:

1. The King of Limbs
2. A Moon Shaped Pool
3. In Rainbows
4. Kid A
5. OK Computer
6. Hail to the Thief
7. Amnesiac
8. The Bends
9. Pablo Honey

OK Computer is the best one dude.
Amnesiac is nice too. Rest can be thrown out

nice pleb taste there buddy

ok kid

Thread should not have proceeded past this post.

What's the problem with Pablo Honey? Why everyone hate it?

right
maybe not better than kid a but god tier as well
no

no

Plebs.

Name one notable track that isn't High and Dry.

it sounds like wannabe U2
