Absolutely. One of the most fitting themes of any horror movie.

Candlejack? Wtf is tha
Was this actually good? I don't even remember. Wasn't there several movies?
The first one is actually really good. If you want to watch a movie wasted then the sequels might be tolerable. I watched them and constantly murmured what were they thinking.
Candyman is one of my favorite movies of all time, and has one of the best themes as well.
I remember Candyman
spooky as FUCK when I was like 10 years old
I should give it a rewatch sometime
You aren't wrong.
They almost did a Candyman vs. Leprechaun movie.
Yup.
there's no way tony todd or clive barker would've agreed to that
maybe you're thinking of wishmaster vs. leprechaun
they're both owned by lion's gate and one of the editors at the time cut this teaser together hoping it would happen
really creepy and disorienting group of movies
he doesn't have an album
Watched it for the first time this Halloween. Great film, and the theme is absolutely amazing.
yeah I member, I didnt step in front of a mirror for like a week.
Siskel and Ebert gave it 2 thumbs down because WAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH TOO MUCH FAKE BLOOD!
I thought it was good, really confused me the whole time I was watching if Candyman was real or not. The inner streets setting was neat as well I haven't really seen a lot of horror movies use that without making it wacky
Same here, only I saw it a few days after Halloween. The theme struck me too.
imo it's up to the viewer whether he was real or not.
is he an urban legend conjured to life by people's fear or a real ghost who's power will lessen if he's not believed in?
until the sequel when the latter turns out to be true
although i guess the ending kind of confirms it when helen is brought back by the same hoojoo
i had a coworker who flipped out when the subject of this movie came up and i started saying his name.
she seemed embarrassed but couldn't help being afraid. i felt bad
dem Virginia Madsen tits though
it has been commented upon, sir
saw this one freezing winter night when i was a kid
really freaked me out
i think it was the dilapidated, rotting ghetto setting that got to me more than anything else
should probably watch the movie again soon
