What do you guys think of David Lynch's music?

What do you guys think of David Lynch's music?

Pretty good

Probably one of these guys

I like that one song he made with danger mouse and sparklehorse

How smug do you have to be to save this?

>Hideki Kamiya
Not true, he's a true genius
>Gackt
kek, yeah but that wasn't ever a secret.

>talentless hacks are one trick ponies
Then they're not talentless then, are their?

bait but Franz Kafka's body of work can't even be judged the same as Henry Rollins for example

The textures from him and Speck on Eraserhead is second to none, a genuine masterpiece of sound design
His solo tunes are alright but nothing to write home about

I'm impressed. This chart is so wide-ranging it'll piss off almost every person on the planet, except for paste-eaters who only like capeshit, Harry Potter, Taylor Swift, and other vapid trash.

Dumb charts only piss off dumb idiots.

this is the only musical thing with his name on it i've enjoyed

This is way too obvious. You can tell whoever made this was trying to piss off the entirety of Sup Forums.

>keiji haino
DELETE THIS BROTHER

There are a lot of dumb idiots, user.

>Karajan
>Patton
>Lynch
Incorrect. The rest though, I'll get behind your statement

>implying Cormac McCarthy, Franz Kafka, and the Coen brothers are bad
This better be bait.

>Macca
good pop music, his classical compositions are utter trash.
>Kafka
(((writer)))
>Coen Brothers
eh

Cormac McCarthy is a writer. Please go read Blood Meridian.

Talentless hack =/= Not begin good
but then Henry Rollins isn't a talentless hack

What did you think of Twin Peaks: The Return, Sup Forums?

>Suggests me to read a book on Sup Forums
(You)

pretty arbitrary in all the wrong ways, and not very convincing of its merit

not terrible but way inferior to the originals and overall unnecessary

4/10 at best

Pusha T is so out of place on this image lmao

surprised thom yorke or his boys weren't on this list, was totally expecting it so i could post a triggered response

>no jerry Garcia

A goddamn masterpiece

First 4 or so episodes are a bit tough to get through imo but they were necessary and the rest of the series justifies the initial slog.
I wasn’t as in love with Dern’s portrayal like everyone else seems to be (kind of hated it actually, this as someone who usually loves her work) but everyone else did a fucking stellar job and some of the moments were like nothing I’d ever seen on TV. Nothing has quite awed me like episode 8 or creeped me out in the same way as the Woodsman’s radio transmission monologue.

Meant to reply to Obv

I don't like the works of any of these so I'm better than most of you :-)

It was amazing. Sad to see the reddit detectives not get the point though
