... There's a few favorites I have right now and I'd feel unfair having to choose between someone's.
But I've had Scully by AlexanderGAT (winona picture) stuck in my head all night.

This might be the most meaningful to me.
It's the first real song I wrote, way back in highschool, there's also a somewhat different demo version of it

Hi guys. I don't want to shit up the catalog so i'll ask here because i think you know a lot.
I have sudden urge to create some music too, but i don't know how.
I want to create something drone/synth/noice like.
i don't know how to read notes.
I won't buy any hardware for music creation because i'm poor.
Can i create something just on pc without dedicated soundcard?
Please help me
you ever thought about pirating buddy?
I might have a little to help.
You don't really need too much hardware for a lot of stuff.
You could honestly just go the pleb-tier way (people will make fun of you but fuck it's easy for beginners so who cares, get your foot in) and use audacity and tinker there, recording things, timestretching them, it's a start.
You can write out midi drum beats/patterns in FL studio, notation software, or stuff like that,
Googled it and stuff like it even is online
onlinesequencer.net
Once you get a grasp of things better and if you think you want to go somewhere with it, then i'd start learning pro tools, ableton, all the bigger ones. But until then, FL studio and audacity should be really user friendly (FL studio really isn't tricky at all once you know a bit, but audacity is going to be like 10x less confusing to someone starting)
Try downloading guitar pro actually, off thepiratebay or something.
you can fuck around on that easily.

Interesting! I don't hear this style very often. Chill but still driving.
The count off sounded harsh, overall there's some midrange harshness that's throwing me off. Also, the melodies seem kinda lazy
your most recent song sounds kinda harsh, makes my ears hurt, especially in those hi-hats and cymbals. Sucks cuz I'm a fan of your pretty op stuff.
There's a sincere tenderness to these songs, and I like how they go from clean to distorted.
Maniac is a big tune, and if you wouldn't mind could I do vocals over it? my email is [email protected]
this song is pretty sick. Definitely would get down to this.
made me happy the moment I clicked on it.

Wow, thanks guys! maybe should do more DnB and being serious about it. I feel the basslines lack rhythm to the beat. I'm sure I can do better job that this.

My most recent track is an up and coming one with some classic 80s vibes mixed with melodic touches. Fav track at the moment is probably Touch Down, Pt. 1 by AllttA, 20syl. Numb Daydream is definitely the most meaningful since that's the one I started working on first, after which I decided to go for a full EP!

I do have lyrics for all of these songs, just no place to set a microphone up that isn't gonna catch a loud ass PC fan in the background.
Also I couldn't decide which one should have been more meaningful or my fave cause desu they both are.

I started to make music on a tracker in 2011 as a collaborative effort with my roommate that is a good musician. i knew nothing and now i make tracks on my own.
What is peculiar is that I still can't settle on a specific genre. While it is mainly electro "video gamey style" I tried other styles, mainly hip-hop , electro with jazzy overtones, and trip-hop.
I wonder if any of you anons try to not specialize on a specific genre ?
Think of it like a jack of all trades, master of none for music.
That probably means that i will never make a "killer" track for lack of a digging into a specific genre.
