Is it Mulholland Doctor, or Mulholland Drive?

>VIOLENCE, LANGUAGE AND
>SOME STRONG SEXUALITY

It's Doctor Strange, now get out!

Watered down, oscar bait version of his masterpiece, lost highway

...

It made no sense but i enjoyed it

maybe it made no sense because you are retarded

Maybe. I got the main story line but shit like this bitch and the opera crap made no sense to me

if you didn't understand the scene in Club Silencio then you didn't follow the plot of the film

It went over my head. I'll have to rewatch it i guess.

What was up with that homeless bitch then? She made one appearance and then nothing

she has two scenes, and in the most basic sense, she's representative of Diane's guilt over the killing of Camilla, which has been projected onto the man she saw watching her in Winkie's while she was placing the hit.

Great, but not his best.

Great, his second best.

Soft porn made by a lunatic leader

...

>look i'm such a complicated movie HUEHUE
i watched it twice to understand fuly, it was shit twice, had some good ideas but sucked

Conflicted. Is a confessed hackjob but still feels like a 9.5/10 to me.
More accessible than inland empire (d-hurrr).

What do you consider his best?

It's good but not Lynch's best. That would be the elephant man

>I-I cannot tell Sup Forums I did not get it after the second time

this

the lesbian scene was nice, admit it

A man's attitude... a man's attitude goes some ways. The way his life will be. Is that somethin' you agree with?

can you read ? i just said i wanted to understand it fully so i watched it twice, and it sucked both times
it's complicated for the sake of being complicated
the only good thing was the relationship between the two characters, it felt natural

I can read. I can read between the lines too, buddy.
*pats head*

Lost Highway

I love this movie. Most directors that try to do something on this vein end up with pretentious artsy pseudo films. Lynch actually pulls it off.

Acting and iconography are really really good too. It's a great movie.

Lynchkino.

autism : the post

...

Honestly, I really liked it, though I am not really into lynch. I am under the impression that his fans dislike it for some reason. Is it true?
I didn't find complicated at all, or at least not complicated for the sake of it.
Whatever was on the screen had significance. It may be hard to follow it till the end, but everything is pretty clear the.

I fucking loved it, the Porn was maybe over the top, but it was part of the story and it was hot AF. Watched Ereaser Head after that, became an even bigger fanboi.

He BTFO's almost every filmmaker in the sounddepartment, the music and mindfucks are great.

whatever. Perhaps you should watch it a third time, maybe the situation is not so desperate :D

Wild at heart was better

Why are people saying the film is hard to follow? I can't imagine what you guys thought about Inland Empire then.

How is Wild at Heart better? It's one of his worst imo and least Lynchesque/Lynchian. He contributed little with that movie compared with his others.

Inland Empire.

The Inland Empire scary escene is far more disturbing

Movie is shit desu
"boo hoo some chick dreaming about stupid shit"

Top lel mate.

>Why are you guys saying eating shit is disgusting? I can't imagine what you guys would think about eating rancid hepatitis shit from a truckers asshole garnished with AIDS-infested cum.

Best David "Sons of David should be Lynched" Lynch movie

Current Sup Forums everyone.

Is so sad.

...

Absolute pleb.

LEGIT Top 5 film of the 00s, a masterpiece, it's not even that complicated as pseudo-intellectual fedora-tippers make it to be, the film is quite straightforward, matter fact. That jumpscare is GOAT and sets the tone for the rest of the film with the main characters taking multiple slow walks where you brain automatically prepares you for the worst, the beautiful cinematography that put an emphasis on dreamlike mood and atmosphere certainly helped and it was drop dead gorgeous.

...

True. Is disconcerting. Holy shit.

It took me two watches to get it. I hated it the first time through, but now I appreciate it a bit more. Still don't really like it though.
I like to understand a film after the first viewing, at least at a basic level. There's a certain amount of communication I expect when I sit down, and Mulholland Drive just didn't have it for me. I know I'm on the low end of tolerating abstraction, though. I need things to be relatively explicit (maybe it's just autism?).
The second viewing helped immensely, though, and I picked up a good amount of it. Now that I have a better understanding, I guess I'd call it a very well done film that just wasn't enjoyable for me.

my all-time favorite movie is mulholland drive
