ITT: Ruin an album by reorganizing the track listing in the worst possible order.
I'll start with pic related.
>A Day in the Life >Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise) >Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band >She's Leaving Home >When I'm Sixty-Four >Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite >Fixing a Hole >Lovely Rita >Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds >Getting Better >Within You Without You >With a Little Help from My Friends >Good Morning Good Morning
Chase Richardson
On second thought maybe I should have put Lovely Rita at the end.
Grayson Morales
you just made a generic 'best of the beatles' album
Ethan Foster
What is the best way to organise an album? Like how do musicians do this? Because I just thought they just put them in any order unless it was story based

There's definitely an art to it. You want a beginning song that grabs your attention, and a closing song as a big finale (or somber comedown). You need to be mindful how each songs flows into the next.

When I used to make mix cds for my car rides , I'd start with an upbeat opener, then a few uplifting songs, then sad songs in the middle, then optimistic songs near the end and finally a long moody track for the finale
Jonathan Murphy
If the album is actually good then it won't need to rely on trite things like track ordering for it to be good.
