3x3, 4x4, 5x5 Collage of the Week

What have you've been listening to for the last 7 days?

I've been getting into Swans this week, I love SFTB and its calm experimental noise. Any recs?

Planning For Burial - Leaving
Afterlives - A Ticking Clock I Couldn't Stop
Good. Nice. Love u. Haven't heard any of that but u seem v nice

Whoops sorry

How much more of a Sup Forumscore poser can you really be?

You should completely and unironically consider suicide.
It's like some AI dreamed up the most shit taste collage possible.

God you're like every generic Sup Forumsdrone filtered into one person.

Craft Spells is nice though, what's bad with him?

I mean you got the best Kylie album and the Pet Shop Boys in there so I can't be mad.

BECAUSE YA GOTTA HAVE FAITH-UH

I like that Nujabes album, it's quite calming imo.

pls no bully

Awww he's trying so hard :')

...

don't listen to these jaded cunts, we all start at with the same stuff in the beginning. Those are all great albums that definitely spark a passion for music.

You both like memes

forgot to attach pic

you new? or knew this would get you loads of "you"s?
either way... get a backbone.
maybe listen to bob dylan. some of his albums are probably generic enough for you to listen to on a low volume for the scrobbles.
this isn't much better. new as well?
don't know what to suggest for you. the have a nice life album randomly in the mix makes me most confused.
this is an odd one. literally only know two artists.
all soundcloudcore? or do you just like unsigned artists?
try 1905. might be a bit mainstream for you, but that is only cos they have been around so long. decent unheard-of screamo.
i've never known how elton john is received here. maybe if you don't already love him, i feel you should.
seems we have similar taste.
listening to the gil scot-heron album now.
long shot, but have you heard the Jamie XX album where he used some samples of Gil reading poetry. put it over fairly decent deep house beats. i absolutely love it. maybe try it.
have you not got round to magnolia electric co. yet? as i'm fairly sure it is the best songs ohia release by a long long way. same with april and sun kil moon.
you seem like you have a long list of things you are listening to next.
lot of nostalgia there
i have not listened to any of this i'm sorry. seems like all new material by things i know i wouldn't like.
you new too? keep lurking.

hey, shit taste here

...

you guys really gotta cut it out with the contrarianism

kill every pleb

feeling like a goofball for this

Just wow.

That's an interesting mix you have there.
+Nnamdi, Microphones

I know none of these. What would you recommend?

no need to apologize user. Everyone's taste is different. Check out Astrud Gilberto and Sade if you haven't.

really digging the Ween, Nujabes.
I've heard a lot of good thngs about Jason Molina

I'm glad I'm not the only one dabbling in nostalgia lately

...

thank u for being so considerate user i appreciate it :)

twin peaks is overrated
pram helium

...

every album cover on there looks sick as fuck

dude if you haven't heard Melvins - Bullhead yet then you should get on that immediately, judging by your chart it'll be right up your street

they're all decent albums imo so I'd recommend any of them, it's mostly death/black metal if you're into that kinda stuff but there's a few outliers, feel free to ask me about any of em

I've only listened to Houdini by Melvins, I'll check out Bullhead, thanks friend

Not a gizzard fan before people ask

+before today, closer, demon days, holv, kid a

what did you think of the new Rosenstock album?

DELET

give Shame's recent debut a listen, "Songs of Praise",

would appreciate female singer/songwriter reccs, some 80s-00s sweetness.

>where do i go next in cocteau's discog after HOLV?
treasure

...

Is this the infamous "discovered Sup Forums yesterday" starter pack

nah its mostly 90s punk comps and regional stuff from when little labels actually mattered, discogs+youtube/blogspot make it so easy to find this stuff these days

1905s pretty good, im not really that much of a straight up screamo guy actually but i can get behind the dual vocals thing

try breakwater and bug hummer i bet you'll like them

you might like ichiko aoba if youre into that sort of comfy thing
probably everyone on earth will like blossom dearie at least a little
besides that idk how you feel about punk so idk if i can rec anything else

+Iglooghost
+++Haunt Me, Haunt Me, Do It Again
incredible hecker album that deserves to be discussed with his best
+Einstein on the Beach, more plusses if it's mostly Knee Play One
This is just a good chart all around
+Sweet Trip
-Nujabes

Thank you. I'm studying right now, so I'm all about that comfy life. Both of those are great. I love punk!

Also, if you like Ichiko Aoba, you might like Satomi Imagae

Huh, didn't realize I've been playing that mountain goats cover so much

Gotta go listen to Kevin's solo stuff

Midori is dope and the new Jeff Rosenstock is p good. Gonna check some of this out

Check out Frankie Teardrop - Hell Yep

No problem with being on a radiohead kick

good-albums-with-bad-covers-core

I'm still not over Antisocialites. You should check out the band Winter

good stuff, you might like Gunship's self-titled

kyuss - welcome too sky valley
saint vitus - born too late
dillinger escpae plan - dissasociation
baroness - the red album

i've been listening to more rap recently, i really enjoy ice cube's solo works.

and idk, i can't help but enjoy cheshire cat. it's a fun poppy punky snarky album that's always appealed to me. i'm not a fan of anything they did past enema of the state though.

Two Knights! Hell yes!

don't apologize for liking what you like.

>incredible hecker album that deserves to be discussed with his best
i do agree it's amazing but it feels very amatuerish and much less broad in scope and sound compared to his later output which is why i think it tends to get overshadowed a lot. it feels like he was still finding his feet on his early solo output.

I've heard every Jason Molina release and imo Ghost Tropic and Lioness are his best by a very wide margin. Heard every Mark Kozelek release too and like Ghosts of the Great Highway the most

this is ironically pretty okay compared to some of the other 3x3s itt

>slaughter of the soul
nah, this was my first listen in like 5 years actually and i discovered it's not as good as i used to think it was. i'm getting back into metal lately myself

love Kyuss and Baroness, and I've listened to those other bands but not in a while. thanks a lot, i'll check em

i saw Two Knights twice on the same tour in like 2011, great people. Shut Up is bruuuutal

I saw them with Warren Franklin in 2011 in Chicago. Shut Up is my favorite.

I'm super interested in the new direction they're taking with Effing, where the vocals are more focused on actually singing, rather than screaming

ay same tour i saw them in CT and MA. Warren was a sweetheart too, he recognized me at the second show

yeah i dig Parker's singing too, but still with the bummer emo guitar

I've been listing to a fuck ton of Mogwai.
I fuck with you guys!

Hey, I never said they were the best shit ever. I just like them.
Just think of all the shitty music you love, like >insert your fav album here.
