So a real question about this movie and its relation to the 1915 movie of the same name.
So what is happening here? As I understand it, the 1915 movie is a glorification of the KKK and such. So what is this new movie? If it has nothing at all to do with the first movie, why repeat the title and I guess the time period? Are they trying to erase that first movie?
Liam Thomas
>niggers: the movie
lol at least go watch something decent like fences
Juan Lee
>Mfw everyone thought this was gonna be best picture worthy a few months ago
Christian Gray
>the nigger who made this is charged with rape
hahahahah
Adam Edwards
it was supposed to be then the guy raped a gurl
Jason Davis
It was a solid film, but boy was the hype overblown. Also Nate Parker probably chickened out with the climax because of his white wife. I didn't dig the rape plot point either. Overall it's a neat piece of rebellion kino.
Connor Davis
>Nate Parker probably chickened out with the climax because of his white wife.
So much for Black pride.
Colton Harris
I think it's rather messed up that the incident was used to smear his work, and him even though he was acquitted.
Anthony Allen
to "reclaim" the name
Jaxson Phillips
>Defending rape culture
guess what year it is shitlord
Juan Wood
his pal was found guilty and he's a filthy fucking nigger who harassed the girl afterwards Once upon a time we lynched his kind
Gavin Sullivan
We will again someday
Mason Young
The final scene kind of explains the title. I mean, calling it Birth of a Nation is clearly attention-seeking, but there IS at least a real use for it in the film.
Jack Howard
Are blacks finally going to be erased from history now that Donny is about to be inaugurated?
Adam Price
I hope so
Liam Russell
why are reboots always worse than the originals?
David Powell
Can anyone who has actually watched say if it's worth pirating
James Ross
Try it and see what happens.
Asher Hall

Remakes of great classic films like Birth of A Nation is the reason why Donald Trump is POTUS!
Isaac Lee
It's solid. Nate shines more as an actor than as a director.
