MAD CUNT

Never forget the best NASCAR race of 2016:

youtube.com/watch?v=Vq-hO1t9sTU

Watching Diners Drive Ins and Dives because it's kino and there's another Clint Bowyer episode. This is like 4 at least by now. I can't get over how scrawny he is...you don't notice it when he's in a firesuit. He's really fucking skinny.

This is also another reminder of why Bubba will never run again in another competitive NASCAR ride after tomorrow

Stock Car Brasil. Races 1 and 2 of last week.

holy shit toyota BTFO by /ourguy/

...

Today: MotoGP qualifying from Austria
Tomorrow: Moto3 Moto2 MotoGP races

...

Sam Hornish Jr was fastest in Xfinity practice yesterday
Hope he wins

Brad nailed it, all the Toyotas have dialed it way back this week cuz they expect NASCAR to take cars/trucks to the wind tunnel.

Really looking forward to today's truck race. I think it'll be exciting as hell. Just hope Kryle doesn't shit it up.

When's Xfinity quals start

Guys, fuck arca.

...

UMA

Track is slick as fuck. Truck race should be good

>Johnny Sauter is running unsponsored in the truck race
Guess that rumor GMS is cutting the truck team is starting to come true, then.

Wirth Research's proposed 2018 Indycar aero concept.
I'm glad we got what we did instead of this.
The radiators being moved where they needed to be along with the removal of the air box make it much more attractive than this.
Wirth was responsible for the Honda 2015 aero kit that was laughably outmatched by the Chevy.

They also designed the Virgin/Marussia F1 cars in 2010/2011

trucks thread

>cold custard

They also designed a Honda LMP2 that was so slow it only raced once before it was converted into a hillclimb car... Which then blew up all of the team's engines before even getting a complete Pike's Peak run in.

world-challenge.com/streamvideo/
PWC at Utah (SprintX)

They even signed Justin Wilson to drive it

That's also the Mid-Ohio thread.

based keselowski

Fuck is wrong with their stream

Exactly how does one go about becoming a pit crew member?

The teams mostly recruit college football players who don't make the NFL

Says race is on NBC
I turn on NBC and see gay ass olympics wtf?

NBCSN

>Panoz GT4
wait what

Leaving this here for tomorrow

Depends on the role. Any heavy lifting like Tyre carriers and fuel carriers are usually ex-college athletes who don't make the pro drafts or Olympic team that teams recruit in combines held on the off season. Changers who hit the lugs are usually mechanics (Though if you have a background in Athletics it helps). Jackman can be either but usually a mechanic as if they have problems on the car on pit road then the changers and jackman can work on it. Especially this year with the Crash Clock being introduced.

>Changers who hit the lugs are usually mechanics
every segment about it I've ever seen, the changers are college football recruits as well

I've forgotten if the WEC man stops by here or the /o/ threads. He has some good insights to working in motorsport.

20 minute video of the Indycar test at Iowa, skip the driver interviews as they don't offer anything for those who have already read related articles.
The last portion of the video shows the cars running near each other for a long while.

nice link you absolute spastic

who is driving at pocono

>$50 to stream the Knoxville Nationals

yeah that ppv shit is ridiculous and out of touch.

reminder that driving a car of any kind is not a sport

Any competitive test of skills is a sport

Golf is not a sport.

Welcome, just have to fix it yourself.
No one announced at the moment.

therefore race car driving is not a sport

does anybody know what track that is?

Sportsland SUGO

>3pm start time

>race starts at 3
>boradcast starts at 1:30

Anyone else watch this British motorcycle racing they show on CBS sometimes? What's the name of this series?

british superbike?

Nah, it wa on streets rather than GP circuits. Was watching something called the southern 100 on isle of mann

jesus christ man

I've seen this multiple times on CBS sports and always its been in some rural streets in Ireland or somewhere like that. Nice to watch tbqh

That race was fucking glorious!

...

Brad calling Toyota out on the prerace

Turn left thread is up!!!!

Lol has been all weekend

MotoGP is God tier

the new BMW M8 for the WEC
>i wonder who thought that naming a car "M8" was a good idea

Aleshin is jumping to WEC LMP1 full time it looks like.

He is a development driver for the SMP LMP1 car at the very least.
It's likely that ACO is going to be making big changes to the LMP1 class in order to accommodate privateer entries, it needs them.

I'm more curious as to who will get his seat in Indycar.
There are a lot of questions going into the 2018 Indycar season and, from what is rumored, the #7 SPM car will be a fully funded effort with a hired driver.

Sebastian Saavedra is the safe bet to fill out the rest of the season for SPM. Still no idea who might get that ride next year though if the rumors of Arrow fully funding the #7 turn out to be true.

>, the #7 SPM car will be a fully funded effort with a hired driver

how can this be? they can't even run the #5 with their own money

James Hinchcliffe doesn't bring any money, Arrow Global fully sponsors that ride.
It's believed that either Arrow will be stepping up their program to allow Sam to hire yet another driver or he has another sponsor lined up for the 7 entry.

Surprisingly low energy thread especially considering the /indy/ thread dies some while ago

Fucking nothing raced this weekend what do you expect

true I guess outside of NASCRAP

Indycar finally races this Sunday.

There was a thread from last week that lasted into this week. Thus not many posts into this thread.

Reminder that Kylel had 4 fresh tires and restarted ahead of Larson.

Fiat-Chrysler still looking at bringing back Dodge even though they denied it and are in advanced talks. The even more interesting part is the second manufacturer which is possibly Hyundai. A possible Five manufacturers? Wew.

absolutely disgusting

nascar to WHEN?

Does Hyundai even have a V8 in their lineup
