I'm still aiming for a release soon, I've been moving carefully on tracks to make them as perfect as my skills allow. A snip of a new track is on my SoundCloud. I might post more snips in the future.
Huh, usually op posts their own project. Did someone with no project start this thread? What the heck?

>Heavy metal x Post-punk
> Like Black Sabbath mixed with Have a Nice Life
Could someone tell me if this is a decent mix?
I'm using majordecibel free mastering software and I used to like it but now I realize that the mix sounds wildly different at different volumes. I thought I could get away with it but I just downloaded a trial version of wavelab so I can get better mixes.
Does anyone use wavelab or wavelab elements? Is wavelab pro worth the extra 400-500 dollars?

My album came out last year, entirely written and produced by me. It's probably the most complete piece of music I've put together and one I'm quite proud of.
Aiming to put some tapes out soon, would appreciate any leads on labels otherwise I'm going to do it myself.

Man can you guys get good at something instead of hiding behind genre delineations?
a lot of people on these threads don't seem to know what ambient actually means in a musical context and will just list it as ambient if one element of their song has reverb or something. there's a few good legitimate ambient artists on here though

Just put out this EP in preparation for the full length album I'm releasing, which is a return to the conceptual fantasy storyline my project follows.

This is sexy as fuck. Love the leads and general groove. I think my favorite part is the vocals, I love the sort of operatic aspects of them, especially the rapid vibrato, veerrrry feelingful. I just generally find this track sort of meditative, reminds me of Om in a lot of aspects. Keep on putting out more, I'm bookmarking this to keep up on how you guys progress more. There's clearly a lot of talent and passion in this project.

Thank you for the feedback. I gave Awesome a listen. It's a really chill track, it's a very good work built from that sample, although it would sound nice if you could toss in some vocal effects, or a less sudden ending. Good work nowadays, keep it up.
Depends on your denomination of ambient. Some people hear Brian Eno's ambient when they read the word, others think something more like a wall of reverberations and delay, like Tetsu Inoue's Inland.
Same goes for the lo-fi tag. Using lo-fi as a genre is kind of dumb though. I use the tag since I work with all I have, mediocre to bad equipment, yet I make it sound the best I can, thus making it's recording lo-fi.
