What You Want is clearly the best track

What You Want is clearly the best track.

Sometimes is clearly the best song of all time

You are clearly a soyboy

Both pretty bad choices
It's obviously Come in Alone

It's When You Schleep

weird way of spelling "Touched"

yes

Soon was always my favorite.

Objectively the right choice

Touched was the worst.

most overrated album of the 90s period

Obviously not

thats a strange way of spelling Weezer self titled

For fuck's sake it's To Here Knows When.

This is a close second though, so best taste in the thread so far.

Never heard a good argument for this one. People just like it bc its the contrarian pick. Boring song

Really? I feel like it's the logical endgame for what Shields was trying to do with the guitar. He was all about modulating guitar sounds moreso than playing conventionally and that track's basically 5 and a half minutes of Shields making the guitar his bitch and creating a sheer wall of dreamy sound out of it. Not really trying to be that melodic or songlike, just sheer fucking sound.

Water is wet

Correct

Has anyone heard anything about the repress being delayed?

It goes
What You Want>When You Sleep>To Here Knows When

Correct.

This is #2.

Some order of Come in Alone, What You Want, and When You Sleep

it's blown a wish. how is that even a question?!

What you want > When you sleep .... Others are a toss up

Soon > When You Sleep > I Only Said > Only Shallow > What You Want > Blown a Wish > Loomer > Come In Alone > To Here Knows When > Sometimes > Touched

only correct answer

...

I Only Said is the best

Agreed

To Here Knows When > I Only Said > Come in Alone > Soon > Only Shallow > When You Sleep > Sometimes > Loomer > Blown a Wish > What You Want > Touched

What You Want has never really done it for me for some reason.

Everybody shut the fuck up this album has no low points and every song is 10/10

Touched is the key to understanding Loveless

Come in Alone > When You Sleep > Soon > Only Shallow > Loomer > Blown a Wish > I Only Said > To Here Knows When > What You Want > Touched > Sometimes
All of them are good though

What You Want > When You Sleep > Sometimes > Soon > Only Shallow > I Only Said > Blown A Wish > To Here Knows When > Come In Alone > Loomer > Touched

Its actually To Here Knows When.
You are CLEARLY a pleb if you disagree.
Sage

To Here Knows When is so overrated.

Contrarian pick.

When You Sleep > What You Want

underwhelming album for how highly it's rated

this

But Sometimes is still the pleb choice with When You Sleep hot on its tail. 10/10 songs either way.

Fingertips Are Burning is the best song

If it's not in your top 10 of all time there's something wrong with you

do any of u guys listen to this album on full volume
i want to do it but i can't bc i don't want tinnitus :(
same with dopethrone

This and only this

Listening to the album on low volume is actually pretty cool

Soon is the best track. It may be hard to accept, but after 153 listens I have to decided.

Finally someone is fucking right.
The song's so good i can't help but turn the volume all the way up and ending up with sore ears (not tinnitus, they just sorta hurt), but i love it.
Second best is "Loomer".

Wow you have the taste of a 16 year old girl. No wonder your band is shit. filtered.

What You Want is the most traditional MBV song on Loveless.
It's pure pop perfection, but it's not doing anything new for the band.
Every single track does something unique with sound so no two tracks sound alike.
Most shoegaze bands sound like a single song from loveless which just goes to show how influential the album is.

Have you guys made a story for this album?

I'm the only one who thinks Touched is a great interlude?

strange of way spelling nevermind

>You will never listen to this for the first time
>You have listened to it so much that nothing suprises you at all/get a significant positive reaction from it
HOW THE FUCK DO I FIX THIS AAAAAAAAAAA

Feeling a different emotion from an outside source like watching a sunset or some other other fruity shit while also listening to the music is how you fix it. The trick is to have new experiences with the music, not necessarily "hear" something new.

I know what you're talking about but that doesn't really work for me. Thank my lucky stars weed exists

This. I love The Cure, and I always thought "Just Like Heaven" was one of their happier and less depressing songs. I started seeing this one girl, and she would always put that song on when I was driving her home, almost every night. I really liked her, but things didn't work out, and now when I hear it, it's an incredibly depressing song. It's more visceral now.

This is the second most pleb choice, after Only Shallow. It's Blown A Wish or Sometimes

Sometimes is way more pleb than either of those songs you doofus

fpbp

Shoegaze is bad music made by bad musicians for bad music fans

Hahahahaha
no sweetie pie

Correct. It's the best shoegaze song of all time, also.

Same, man. Love it so fucking much.

No, it's fantastic.

that song gives me the feels a lot of nostalgia too for 2008

>sometimes anywhere near the bottom

ABSOLUTELY SWEETIE
When you sleep is the best mbv song behind you made me realize

is it an underrated opinion to think the best track is Soon?

I'd do it just once if I were you
The album really changes if you listen to it at max volume vs low volume

this
if you want to rate it among the other full length tracks its still the worst, but it's as an interlude it works really well imo
the eerie sounds transition extremely well into the beauty of To Here Knows When

(OP)
Agreed
WYW > WYS > I Only Said > THKW > Only Shallow > Blown A Wish > Soon > Sometimes > Loomer > Come in Alone > Touched
