If the Premier League isn't the greatest football league in the world, which is and why?

LigaNOS

unironically the mighty Spor Toto Süper Lig

La Liga

halal madrid would be 5-6 in premier league

NFL

Sao Paulo state championship

serie a because it's comfy and with better defending
la liga santander because it's simply better football, more technical and also comfier

It is, the Premier League is the best one in the world. That doesn't mean RM, Barcelona (kinda) and Bayern (if they get their shit together) aren't superior to every English team at the moment

MLS

its the best of retired soccer stars you love, League 1 tier play, AND Captain america all in one

>Long balls dominating strategy for most teams
>7+ players involved in header scrambling because of it for 10+ minutes game time
>Literally no team in the league with decent defense
>No ambition beyond domestic league, fans and clubs treat rivalries as CL-finals and piss away Euro matches
>Absolutely soaked in filthy arab money
>Ungodly amount of cash for shit players because of it
>Britain never raises demands for national players, always bashes foreign players
>Man United

But hey, chaotic garbage can still be entertaining

La Liga. A team like Getafe or Levante would be 7th-10th in the PL despite being relegation fodder in La Liga.

la liga by far

>Real Madrid
>Barcelona
>Atlético de Madrid

Those teams alone are already better than any Plel team. And than we have the second tiers.

>Sevilla (the Gods of UEFA Cup)
>Valencia
>Villarreal
>Atl. Bilbao
>Málaga

For me its clear that La Liga is the best, but I agree that Real/Barça dominance is frustrating.

Better than be so shit that a meme like Leicester wins.

>>Valencia
>>Villarreal
>>Atl. Bilbao
>>Málaga
Come on fella, none of these are good teams any more.

You're right about the Spanish top three though

Well memed.

A EPLel relegation candidate team defeated the mighty Sevilla at CL. That basically tells you the level of play the Spanish La Liga has

That's because they play in meme leagues. Remember Poop in La Liga? Now remember him in the Bundesliga. And now think of him in the Premier League. You could arguably say the same thing about van Gaal.
Too many people get hung up on the Champions League, but it's mainly because critical thinking is beyond them. You'll see they're the same people who say "we all bleed red therefore there's no difference between us", but when you look at it a little closer, they're kinda retarded. However, they use this same logic when talking about football.
To them, if a league has 20 teams in it and they field 11 players there's no difference. But the difference is in the strength of the entire league which is generally judged by parity. See, parity is a good indicator on the strength of a league, whether it's more equal or whether it's less. A league with more parity will see a different league champion more often due to the strength of the league. A league with no parity and that has a dominant team will easily walk their league (a la Bayern Munich or the annual heads or tails of La Liga).
So why is this important? Because if your team is so strong it means you can field anyone and still guarantee to win the league (or if it's La Liga be no more than 4 points apart in the case of Barcelona and Real Madrid). What this means is that you don't have to field a full strength squad and then have them play again 4 days later against a side who've basically been playing warm up games until they had to play you. Even the retards I mentioned earlier can surely fill the gaps from here on why the Champions League is the definition of a meme trophy (that's before you even get into it allowing non-champions to participate).
If you want an a different sports analogy, imagine two world class boxers fighting on the 30th. 'A' has been having full length bouts twice a week until the 30th, but B has been instead been light sparring. Which of the two is in better shape come the 30th?

>shit pasta

The Welsh Football League. TNS would have the prem wrapped up by January.

AM will be 6th/7th in the PL easily.

PL is a triathlon, not a 20k marathon.

Barca will occasionally flop, RM is the only team that would adapt to the PL perfectly.

Said the monkey

Levante was a champions league team until a few years ago you causal plen

Leicester only lost to Atletico because of the reffball in the first game but the rest I agree.
