James Bond will never go to the moon or outer space again

>James Bond will never go to the moon or outer space again
>James Bond will never disguise himself as a clown again
>James Bond will never use a jetpack again
>James Bond will never be playfully sexist again

>James Bond will only ever parkour, fight like Jason Bourne, and use "realistic" gadgets

Fuck this generation.

die from a heart attack in the dick, gramps!

>James Bond will never go to the moon or outer space again
>James Bond will never disguise himself as a clown again
>James Bond will never use a jetpack again

and thank god for that

>muh campiness

kys

Its the age of F+F and capeshit. Wackiness will return.

But that's what make James Bond fun! Why would you want a mundane, by-the-numbers spy movie that's completely identical to every other movie? James Bond was always about the wacky gadgets, perilous situations, fancy vehicles, and eccentric bad guys who wanted more than just money.

>muh gritty realism

kys Nolan

I wouldnt count out jetpacks just yet

as far as I'm concerned the series ended with Die Another Day

thank fucking goodness

If it helps user, remember this too shall pass. Who knows what Bond will be like in 20 years or 30 years. I mean, you can say he will be like this or that as if the tendencies of today would only increase over time, but seriously, who knows. Maybe it returns to being camp in some different way, or even a parody of itself, or maybe it becomes more serious and violent yet, maybe he won't even exist.

it's funny how people act like Bond using a jetpack was so ridiculous, when it was in fact a real jetpack piloted by a stuntman

Apart from the dated CGI, what exactly is wrong with that? It's a Bond movie and it looks cool as fuck.

>liking old things means you wish you were old
wat

are you freaking serious?

It looks like fucking garbage and the entire concept is dumb too.

>dude literally invisible cars lmao
>dude over-the-top silliness and quips lmao

I bet you like Marvel movies.

Casino Royale was fun

I'm a staunch defender of Die Another Day but even I have to admit they made some big mistakes with that movie, CGI surfing among them

>dude I only want mindless fun lol
>just turn off your brain bro!

plebs GET OUT

no it wasn't

>having fun = not thinking
it must suck to be as autistic as you

>007 get

The Bond gods approve of this post.

yeah look at how fun this is

nevermind it doesn't make a ounce of fucking logical sense

reminder that serious Bond is best Bond.

good

go to bed, Baby Boomer

Moore sucked.

I must have missed the part where I specifically mentioned Die Another Day

>cinema
>existing in 30 years

Die Another Day is the sole reason campy Bond is dead.

Except Licence to Kill wasn't that serious, it had plenty of humor, adventure and escapism. Compared to the somber Daniel Craig movies it might as well be Moonraker

it was a factor, but hardly the only reason

Austin Powers and Jason Bourne were also factors

I love this movie, but come on nigga

Licence To Kill is rather dark

there's not much difference between that and Craig's film.

I don't mind the newer Bonds but I wish they would have more spying and not just nonstop action scenes mixed with muh grimdark brooding. I watched Dr No for the first time recently and I was blown away at how half the movie is Bond walking around the fucking jungle. He barely even takes his gun out.

watch it again, it's dark.

compare it to any Moore film.

There's a huge difference, LTK isn't as dark as people make it out to be, and it's much closer to the Brosnan-era than the Craig-era. Sure it might be a revenge tale but it lacks the sober, this-is-serious-business tone that the Craig movies have.

t. someone who has seen LTK dozens of times

>James Bond will never be a white male again

Not that user, but, it was a great time. Not in the same way as past Bond films, with space and jet packs but it was great.

>they let him be sexist in Casino Royale
>filmmakers punish Bond by making Mads bust his balls in torture scene
I can't be the only one who picked up on this.

>implying based Idris won't be portrarying the Bond girl in the next Bond film

different strokes I guess, but I was bored by Casino Royale, especially during the long and completely asinine poker scene

Also I simply don't like Daniel Craig, or the lead Bond girl, or the great shift in tone from previous films. The movie was obviously not made for fans like me, and that's fine, but it doesn't stop me from hating it

who cares there's only 2 or 3 good bond movies anyway

>We will only have good Bond movies from here on out
I'm optimistic as well, OP.

But Spectre was campy too

yeah, but it still had that gloomy, depressive tone and look that all the Craig movies have. Also while did have campy moments, they're also just lazily stolen from other, better Bond movies.

Are we all going to ignore the fact that the ONLY good modern James Bond films (Casino Royale and Skyfall) are Nolan Batman ripoffs.

Casino Royale is LITERALLY Batman Begins, but with James Bond.

Skyfall is LITERALLY The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises combined, but with James Bond.

Stfu millennial

and two of them are starring dalton
