Trip was arguably the best character on Enterprise. T'Pol will always be character wise behind him.

Dax was entirely a mary sue with reverse development in character. She drinks blood wine, murders albinos, but loves a good mudbath and massage, casual sex, enlightening reading and theoretical physics. And she does all of these things in Dax tone. She's a horrible character, mannequin of the entire show and only got slightly interesting.

No, he had actual character, and compared to everyone else but Archer, he appears the most human, and is probably the best actor of the group. I enjoyed the T'Pol/Trip storyline because it did what Star Trek has done many times over by pitting the two unlikelies and finding their mutual attractions with each other.

Nothing about Enterprise was done well.
