>soundcloud.com/jex-j/44-prod-qawi-kamri guitar is awesome, melodies sound pretty good too, but the vocals are awful. whether it's how poorly they're mixed or what, this could be a really good song with some proper vox
Lost Without Ur Love is pretty af. good stuff. smooth production
Feedback is highly appreciated, I return all love on SC

i get complaints on vocals a lot from anons and never any specifics. pretty annoying since everyone i run it by before posting it and other non anons just go "yeah they sound like a normal songs", and i geniunly cant hear whats wrong. shitty mic quality? bad singer? weird reverb or low cut or something? just calling them awful is so lousy, i cant get any better off "its bad"
dont think im offended or shit, i want to be called out when somethings bad, but damn i wish i knew exactly what
>Dungeon Synth >Fun song names >Some fantasy bard type songs >Some spooky songs with odd time signatures and changes
All feedback and dank (You)s are welcomed.

I'm not the user but I'll tell you: specifically you are not a good singer. Even with autotune, the best of a million takes, and careful editing you have not made yourself a great singer. That is what is wrong. If you thing you are a great singer then you are suffering from the Dunning-Krueger effect. Not trying to discourage your mayne, because your song is bad ass. You obviously can write a good fucking song. You just need a few vocal lessons are some cutie to sing for you.

i can appreciate that a lot my dude. just sickening that no ones been real enough to say it to me lmao
Man, just practice more. You're a good ways there already. You just need to sing constantly for a couple months. Sing in the car on the bus in the shower. Fucking constatly sing to everything you normally listen to. Download a program called Earmaster Pro and do some of the ear training exercises. I promise your singing will get better.
(If I'm on my laptop) Will follow for follow, critique for critique, and I will most likely like your stuff consistently. NEW EP out. Check my BIO for purchasing stuff.
I cannot understand what is being said, because i dont speak Russian, also the vocals are too high in the mix. I actually like the vocal delivery, it reminds me of arguments in my youth. squeaky and displeased. please speak england.
I know covers are probably frowned upon, but I recently recorded a version of Mary by Sublime. It always seemed like an impromptu performance by Brad at a party or something, but it holds a special place in my heart for being one of the first songs I learned how to play from start to finish. The original has inconsistent time, and my goal was just to put together a more refined version. This is not the final product, still much to improve on... But I'm proud of what's there. I have some original demos if anyone graces my Soundcloud page with your presence.
Kinda sounds like every other skate punk band, but I like the melody in "one day all my teeth will fall out" kinda boring ngl I really like how the beat goes into this wavey/groovy thing after the first quarter DAMN this is hype as fuck more interesting than most of the other noise I hear unironically smashed that mfkn like button Yo I dig. Definitely get the smokepurpp vibes This fucks hard, sounds like wook party fair I like the beat, the vocals are annoying as all hell I like the video a lot, it's interesting. The music is good ambient, relaxing kinda weak, "wide eyed white kids" yeah kinda cringey
soundcloud.com/memmori/bob-marley-didnt-know-shit-about-reggae >Screamed reggae >Like nothing you ever heard before How these sessions work is I make some sort of instrumental and then my friend gets wasted and screams poetry he wrote somewhere in the past
>psychicdiet.bandcamp.com/releases I'm real stoned lol good work. pretty cool eectronicc loop music, reminds me of the kind of stuff i try to do but with more purpose behind it
Think I got a couple more tracks and then some full mastering and my first actual album is done. Ik everyone says that but it's a big deal for me since I've been making music for years and never been confident enough to put tracks together and release them.

soundcloud.com/blipblap1/change >water >drone >trance >just finished tonight This is it! This is the track I've been trying to make for almost a year. Now I know I'm making progress toward sounding like GAS.
Over the year that I've been experimenting with songs and FX and turning some tests into audio clips, I've gathered a very large collection of odds and ends. So what I do is I paste two or three down in unison and listen to them. If I like the sound, I look for a direction to take it all by adding more sound files. it's all done by ear with some EQing, and mastering.
It's very loosely made, but as I work further along on a project I decide on a personality for each one and by the end I've arranged the sound files in a way that I feel best expresses the feeling I'm trying to conjure up.
