of the past 5 years? maybe, actually

To be disappointed you have to actually expect something.

>Implying live love asap and days before rodeo aren't 2 of the greatest mixtapes of this decade

Is Travis Scott some kind of failed clone of Asap Rocky?

seriously, op needs to go back and listen to his jazz or something

They're two sides of a lean-soaked coin

Jay Electronica is up there for different reasons. he's fucking a Rothschild though so he's doing fine.

>Jay electronica
I haven't been called that in years

mase

asap possibly, travis no

But birds aged even worse than TPAB

>Living in a time line where J Cole and Lupe Fiasco still exist
No

1 bad album doesn't mean he is a disappointment

>Lupe fiasco
Warranted
>J.cole
To be determined

But he's not making better music. His album quality is decreasing

There's plenty of worse ones that actually make these 2 look like some of the best of their "era". A thing they really got going for them is a lot of style.

travis actually got better over time.

asap rocky and tyler the creator somehow got fucking worse lol.

>implying Beibs in the Trap wasn't one of his best songs

lost

It isn't desu.

I mean, Grey is his best followed by Pornography or 3500 but Beibs in the Trap is up there imo

basically in aesthetic but musically far more talented or can be at least

he peaked with rodeo

Saigon

hes only made one other album since then. he still has like 2 more chances until you can say he "peaked"

Dude his joints with Sly Boogy were nice. I hope that's the one you mean, and at the same time, I don't

I'm talking about the one who was on the show Entourage and had peak Just Blaze producing his stuff.

Oh. Well peep this if you feel like taking a random rec

I feel like they both could whip up a post 2017 classic, but honestly I don't know if they will. I'd be happy if one of them dropped their magnum opus, I think it would more likely be Scott.

this is true, travis scott still has more potential than rocky.

rodeo is travis scotts magum opus

>debut album
>magnum opus

thats not how magnum opusesopsepseses work brosefina

yea and the pic you posted is you

What is the appeal of Rocky? I've never cared for his features or his music.
Joey Bada$$ is better.

you can add migos to the list now too

>never listened to flower boy

>le knockoff stevie wonder :^)

Spaceghostpurrp fell off very hard.

Rap is good

A$AP Rocky is the most overrated new school rapper, never got the hype around him

id say it was because he was at the very start of what eventually evolved into the soundcloud rapper generation

his music itself is not memorable in any way but it had the dreamy/chillwave sound that was fresh at the time, and he also had a much different aesthetic and fashion that attracted whitebois and hipsters to him like a magnet

now hes obsolete

*blocks your path*

Jay has so much fucking potential it makes me sad

He could be the GOAT
