I tend to watch movies based on their themes, or elements in their storyline. So I watch Friday on Friday, watch Barfly while drinking, watch Lord of the Rings while wearing a ring, watch Any Given Sunday on Sunday, etc. So by that logic, you should watch Half-Baked, or that tv show Weeds.

that's pretty much what it is, I think the parallels of nature with civilization bring an intense feeling of despair, it's imagery captures how chaotic our lives are, especially in contrast with nature. Every thread of us is bound by technology, even when we're not outwardly using electronics.
It's really hard to put into words how great this movie is, you just gotta watch it.
