im dying a little bit every day. my soul is rotting from failure

I don't get it. This actually happens irl

Frogposter, this actually happens. It's called having a conversation.

This happens literally all the time

>It's an OP does not go to college or talk to people episode

I'm starting uni next year after 6 years of post-highschool NEETness, buds. What am I in for?

>pretend you're in college so people don't think you're a failure
>"what's your major?"

Masturbation should be kept to a minimum if ever, reasonably like once a month AT LEAST... any more than that and you hurting yourself physically as well as psychologically. the rest of your time and energy should be spent trying to get a girlfriend to marry or practicing sex safely until you settle down. Masturbating gets in the way of your natural inclination to seek and obtain a mate. It's instant self gratification and the more you do it the weaker you become and your sexual appetite becomes more base and vulgar -- stop the cycle of self hatred, masturbating once and awhile is encouraged but making it a habit will rot your soul

this isnt the advice i wanted to hear

Im trying to get into grad school now just because I've been a failure in my time out of undergrad
Working 50 hours a week at Dominos.

Crippling depression as you watch everyone around you enjoy the best years of their life while you just go to class and go home because you're too afraid to initiate conversation with anyone.

But it in the end it will help

You have a 8 months to hit the gym (Look up StrongLifts5x5) get a non-autistic sense of style (check out /fa/'s sticky) and learn how to hold a conversation and have body language that doesn't repulse everyone around you (tons of resources, google it). Good luck, user.

This.

Who /commutesandonlyeatslunchintheircar/ here?

The gym is a total waste of money. You can do everything you need with a barbell, bench, and weights. Anything else you want to do, like maybe a pullup bar, can be completely improvised.

damn those digits don't lie

Are you joking? Do you know how much a barbell, bench, and weights cost?

I'll give you a hint: it's more than five months of gym membership.

Who is serious about improvement and only has a membership for 5 months?

>It never got better than that night! That was supposed to be the beginning of my life! All that promise and fucking optimism! That feeling that we could take on the whole universe! It was a big lie! Nothing happened!

this fucking movie, went from fun to feels

Graduated about a year ago now, I'm starting to see what he meant.

Once you get to college the membership is part of your tuition

gym provides friends, spotters, free advice, free classes if i feel like it, plus i think there's some psychological effect of being in the gym that makes u actually do it. at home u feel like oh i can do it anytime i'll do it later. once ur at the gym it's gym time plus you get that manly motivation from seeing other buff dudes.

I wasn't aware this was actually a thing I was paying for
I'd agree with you about the benefits but theoretically if the person was socially anxious and just starting out the atmosphere of the gym might actually be a turn off. Also
>manly motivation from seeing other buff dudes

These are things you must master first. Once you've fully understood them, then you can start to individualize.

Did you skip college, frogposter? Do you not understand how small talk works?

this

eh, it's too late. i'm 32. gonna jerk till it falls off desu

It's still going to be better than not even leaving the house, though. I did a foundation course for a couple of months and barely talked to anyone, I made one friend though and she gave me lifts to class a lot, that was nice. So if the trend continues, I'll probably be able to make 1 or 2 pals.

>You have a 8 months
I start in February lol. I've been thinking about getting /fit/ for years so it's probably not going to happen in the next 2 months. I do need to buy some more clothes before classes start though.

If your school has a gym or is near a school with a gym it should be free for you. They might even have a deal if you're near a private gym.

>I start in February lol. I've been thinking about getting /fit/ for years so it's probably not going to happen in the next 2 months.

Start right fucking now. Just do it.

What's stopping you?

youtube.com/watch?v=7S94ohyErSw

Thanks, I'm doing pretty well with what I have but if its free what the hell

Oh god this is me

what does that have to do with not jerking off so much?

Make sure to actually do your classwork and go to class. I got kicked out after 2 years because I didn't fucking do the work I had to. Things worked out in the end because of the connections I had, so make sure to make friends.
Schoolwork first, friends second. Passing your classes is probably more important than making friends, but In my case it wasn't. I still wish I hadn't flunked out, but I dunno...

That's harder. Focus on the social/body language shit first and learn how to take the initiative socially. Don't freak out if you're like two months in and feel like you only have casual acquaintances, those relationships grow.

That's like the first or second thing I ask everyone I meet in new classes.

>someone asks me what me what my major is

>I-It's liberal arts, I'm studying film!

>my soul

leave me be, zyzz

Yeah I'll definitely make an effort not to let my schoolwork build-up. I did terribly in high school but really well in the foundation course. So I feel confident I can continue like that

I appreciate this advice but I'm not a total social reject. I'm not great socially, but I can get by. There were people in my course who would casually talk to me or say hi every now and then. But yeah, I was surprised then at how slowly those relationships formed but I know now that's just how it happens I guess.

lol I already know this feel, embarrassed to tell anybody what I'm studying. I assume in reality people won't really give a shit, especially since they'll be in the same classes as me anyway

What are you studying, women's studies? We probably will laugh, but we won't care in 5 minutes anyway.

Kek

It might just be the most common conversation starter between two college students

SHE'S HOPING, WAITING FOR MORE

AND I KNOW HE'S ONLY LOOKING TO SCORE

>50,000 dollars in student loan
>for a bachelor's in gender studies
kek

I'm 25 getting my AA in business management im more of a loser than you

if you jack off to porn and stop you just start having a wet dream every few days so it's like you jack off that much anyway

Oh I don't really care about Sup Forums laughing at me, that would happen no matter what. It matters more what people irl do. My major topics are going to be writing and film, but yeah one of my electives is gender studies.

I'm not an Americuck so the loan doesn't really matter. There's no interest and I only have to pay it back once I exceed a certain annual income, and even then it comes out bit by bit so that it doesn't disrupt my life.

I'm honestly mostly doing this just so that I can finally stop being a NEET and become active in life, the degree doesn't matter to me that much.

>tfw no responses

Then get a degree that will actually get you a good job. That's much better for not being a neet then simply getting a degree for the sake of getting one.

having a wet dream and actually jerking off are not the same and also after a few weeks wet dreams are infrequent

I never got college in the US. Here you get assigned the shit you should know and have to pass it.

"Oh you want to major in economics well this is the shit you have to know and you have to take these classes. And you better pass them or you are out"

From what little I know of the US its more like.

"You want to major in economics? You take 2 economics classes. The rest you can fill in yourself with random unrelated shit as you please"

How does it work?

crippling isolation if you don't actively get involved in things

Seriously, this. Take some classes in business or something. A film/writing degree is mostly useless. If you don't want to stay a NEET, major in something that will get you a job.

t. someone who took writing courses for fun and majored in engineering to get the real money.

(You)

You're completely wrong. It's exactly like the first one.

I'll be sure to update with latest news XD

Good luck and God bless

coursework related solely to a major takes up 2 years of a 4 year degree, even more if it's stem

Liberal Arts colleges believe in a "rounded education", which is retarded when jobs require a degree. I don't know why US colleges don't really offer "specialized degrees" that consist of only the courses you need for jobs other than blue collar shit. It's dumb.

There's no way I'd have the will power to complete a degree that I have zero interest in. I wouldn't last a single semester.

Then what is with stories like.

I needed a sociology credit so I took "the struggle of black lesbian midgets 101"

>I don't know why US colleges don't really offer "specialized degrees" that consist of only the courses you need for jobs other than blue collar shit. It's dumb.
Because having specialized knowledge is useless without having common sense and general knowledge. There's a reason why US higher education is the best in the world Eurocuck.

Good luck getting a job in your field of study, then. If you think your passion is writing and film, then go ahead. But unless you get really lucky, filmography will be a side project for you at most.

whats the difference between junior college and uni? graduate school or undergrad, I have no clue

I'm well aware that it's not a field you study if you want a stable career, but it's still infinitely better than sitting in my room with no friends or life for another 6 years.

>You can do everything you need with a barbell, bench, and weights
And a squat rack, if you're planning on back squatting more than, say, 80kg.

not everything is the usual STEM shit you find. There's a countless amount of good to decent careers out there. Please reconsider what you're doing and do some research. You can have more than one passion. And there's definitely something out there that you would like and would provide you a stable income. You'll want to have enough money to survive and enough free time to work on your potential film career plans, and you won't be able to do that by working in a fast food restaurant

>the more you do it the weaker you become and your sexual appetite becomes more base and vulgar
despite yout digits, this is just untrue
>Masturbating gets in the way of your natural inclination to seek and obtain a mate
which is great in these times

I had 5 years of just biology and lab work and some maths thrown in.

I think I had one lecture on ethics that was just cases where Americans performed fucked up medical experiment on black people lol.

>Please reconsider what you're doing and do some research
please relax dude. It's not a big deal at all. If I wasn't doing this I'd just be wasting another year of my life doing nothing and wouldn't have anybody telling me to "please reconsider". I'm not American, starting a degree isn't a death sentence. I've already gotten my first ever income thanks to studying. I can defer at anytime and it doesn't really matter. I don't want to make films.

I'll be fine, don't worry your sweet little head about it.

Outside of a handful of very expensive ivy league colleges attended by your absolute elite, I don't think anyone thinks the US has a good education system.

I think your education system is mostly looked down on in fact.

to clarify colleges started tacking mandatory liberal arts classes onto their already existing degree programs. the excuse is to make students "well rounded" but it just means they get more money and their anemic marxist bullshit departments get students.

i did engineering and i had to pick a few classes like that. luckily i got dumb ones like art history instead of white genocide 101. they don't really care which classes you take.

how is pumping so much dopamine into your brain that you don't even care about finding a mate a 'good thing in theses times?' all you ever hear about on Sup Forums is men's inability to get laid or have a relationship with women, masturbating frequently gets in the way of that. the accessibility to cheap porn is a problem too

Exactly. It's overused and cliché as fuck. Can't people think of something a little more interesting to talk about?

>Can't people think of something a little more interesting to talk about?
no. end of story.

Higher education was the keywords eurocuck. Everyone wants to attend the schools like Harvard, Yale, UC whatever. Only Britain has a few noteworthy colleges outside of America.

Strawman elsewhere.

I think the problem is more that half of women arnt worth fucking and going without them is now a viable option.

All the young men pining for women arnt pining for women that are in their league. No one wants the bottom 50% of women. They are fat, ugly, stupid and poor AND they will shit out babies with those qualities.

So by your standards almost no Americans attend higher education. Also let's not count backs in any statistics but we will include Asians and jews so your country doesn't look like a shit hole, right?

Honestly, the bottom 50 is probably better than your hand. Just saying. Gotta start from the bottom.

>in college so people don't think you're a failure
>"what's your major"

Junior college is for AA or AS. Usually a lot cheaper than universities
Universities are for BA/BS and up.
Undergrad is working towards a BA or BS.
Graduate is working toward a masters.
Post grad is usually phd or something similar like research.

Not really. A typical American college is probably better than most European colleges. The problem with stats is they're useless in this case. You can buy your way into college but it's up to you to take advantage of it. Stop being so mad that our college system is great for learning. It's not a big deal.

It's great for debt, college football and creating trannies.

I forgot positive discrimination.

Fucking hell. That shit would not fly anywhere else.

Top tier response, Europe. Showing your superior intelligence once again.

This is literally one of the most common questions asked at parties in college though, user.
Are you trying to take us on a ruse cruise

>3/10 Tranny from tinder spits a hot loggy on the main character's roommate girlfriend's coral starfish as she positions her dick
>cat scratch fever starts playing

You are probably a black that got in despite not meeting the standards and that is why you love it so much.

Muh reparasions

Not really. I'm a white blue collar worker in a skilled trade. Exact opposite.

You tried though.

>White
So you are a minority.

>Americans performed fucked up medical experiment on black people
The Tuskegee Experiments?

Yup.

You evil evil Americans. Like how the Nazis experimented on Jews.

This. I wanted to get a mathematics degree (300k starting lul) and my local university requires 30 credit-hours of Math courses to graduate...

...And 90 credit-hours of liberal arts. It's to make "Well rounded" graduates, they say. I have to pay triple the tuition for liberal arts classes than I do for mathematics to graduate with a degree in mathematics.

>finished my undergrad this semester
>BS in computer science
>so many math courses are required that i took 2 extra and have a BA in mathematics as well
>only took 2 unrelated courses, everything else was math / algorithm or computer architecture based
>2 semesters of spanish i took, were not required
>only took them as resume buffer in California
Idk what this meme is about unrelated classes. People who take non-stem are stupid

Good luck, my dude.

No, the problem is young men are scared that they might get slapped with a rape charge in a system that emphasizes "guilty until proven innocent". It just isn't worth it to have sex when there are numerous examples of women crying rape when it wasn't actually rape.

That is what's killing sex.

It's pretty easy to avoid that actually.

Just don't rape unconscious women or have your way with women who are extremely drunk.

See above post.
Varies by state.

What if you're also extremely drunk?
