RAIN IN 5

F O O D C I T Y

already been raining the last couple days

I GOT THIS

>Its a cup driver dominates episode

>tfw /missdiffey/

allgaier

>short track night racing is no longer an American pastime

I hate this timeline

It is at local tracks

NASCAR is like wrestling, its becomes shit but the indy scene is booming

KyleBuschWinsLOL

>junior in row 9

does he even try anymore

Joonyer is running an Xfinity race?
w-what?

I think he just wants to survive the season without another concussion

i feel like he's just waiting for the season to be over so he can be done with everything at this point

That video board suspended over the infield makes me nervous

sponsor made him do this race, he probably tried to get out of it

during pre-race he said something like "oh we need to know what our goals are for this weekend" which means "I ain't doing shit"

MUH JUMBO TRON

god i hate this meme

Dale Jr isn't even in the top 10 best drivers in this race, and he's a 'legend' of the sport

reminds me of stewart post-murder

ALLGAIER

The best thing for the sport would be Dale Earnhardt Jr dying at Talladega this fall

>NRA Bass Pro American Flag theme #3 Chevy

it doesnt get more burger does it

Why won't Ward Burton come on to help commentate with Jeff once in a while?

Tony became shit after he broke his leg in 2013

as he crosses the finish line in 1st

...

>Star of David caution

If only it was driven by an autist

*Wasn't

Grassroots racing is doing really well. Dirt racing has never been more popular.

I mean I would love it but it's the same reason they never talk to Awesome Bill anymore

Sterling Marlin had the best NASCAR accent ever

dinner and nascar is my favorite

roll 4 weiner

I'm not quite sure how to feel about this

I like Sadler. Don't even know how to describe his accent

Dale Jr is a bum

he can't drive and can't race

rolling 4 winner

If you're old enough to be making Flight of the Navigator references you're too old to be eating children's food

mexican breakfast for dinner here

It's half southern Virginia half North Carolina
It's a pretty pleasant sounding southern twang

are you me?
This is what I do most nights

>Junior won 15 races in his first five seasons
>Ran for the championship 3 times in a 4 year span
>Now he's a sidenote in an Xfinity race
H-hold me bros

Pretty bad that two of the top five trucks teams have been priced out of the series this year. That series is economically broken.

Why is the truck series all of a sudden falling apart? Whats changed between now and like 5 years ago?

Should be a borderline spec series like GT3 in road racing

MUH DIABEETUS

>beetus

Sponsorships are drying up while costs of operation rise

It's kielbasa and I have no idea what youre talking about

>Beetus cawshun

>NASCAR taking all the TV royalties and running with them instead of distributing it back into the race purse
>Gutting the truck and Xfinity purses to give the cup drivers even more money

T-The sport is fine

>hasn't watched Flight of the Navigator
well then, it seems you have something better to do right now than watch KWL

They need to go back to what it was when it started. Now it's basically a shittier Xfinity series that runs on Friday nights.

this Dale Earnhardt guy fucking sucks at racing

When are they going to stop telling us every weekend about Junior having a shit car and just admit he cant drive anymore

>PJ1 meme substance is already a non factor

He should have just quit after last year. This year is fucking sad to watch.

What if they hosted the world cup final in the infield?

the problem with the PJ1 Track bite isn't that it wears off, it's that the tires deposit a layer of rubber over it within 50 laps that completely nullifies it's existence

Why not just put more down every caution?

I suggested re-apply between segments
I wonder how fast it cures, I'm guessing it's apply and go

I honestly don't see France lasting much longer at the top. The TV networks are putting an insane amount of heat on NASCAR and Monster isn't exactly in it for the long haul. Someone is going to have to take responsibility for how things are going eventually.

Demolish chase pls

>Brian France taking responsibility

AHAHAHAHA they'll just pass the blame to whoever and milk the sport dry

The guy who leaked Carl leaving said Monster wasn't happy and the relationship was "Rocky" though he said Monster are expected to re-sign to 2020 because business wise it's been a good move for them and they reckon they can change things. But it's going to be interesting times when you have an aggressive sponsor compared to Sprint who didn't really give a shit once the recession hit.

Holy shit rick Allen is retarded

I mean he and his family own nascar, so who could replace him?

Who is going to force Brian France out? Dwindling ratings and loss of the series' title sponsor largely for decisions he's made weren't enough.

Could they even remove him from his position when the company is Le Family Owned?

I see him screaming "ITS FINE" until all three series actually collapse rather than showing enough humility to step down

It's retarded how much slower the bad cars are than the good cars in Xfinity and Trucks.

The sport needs an autocrat like Bill France Jr. to be running things. Part of what made NASCAR great in the 80s and 90s was that France's attitude was "This is the way you're doing things and if you don't like it you can just as damn well go race somewhere else". Now the inmates are running the asylum and it isn't working because the teams are more interested in what works for them than what works for everyone else.

NASCAR needs a Bernie Ecclestone

he's not doing much with F1 nowadays

So what happens pointswise when someone not even in the series wins the stage

FIA buys NASCAR, how about that?

nothing other than a season regular was denied

Vince McMahon buys NASCAR, how about that

Those points essentially don't exist now

Sprint didn't even make the deal to be the sponsor. They became it when they bought out Nextel.

>inb4 restrictor plate on a pole match

>Kryle too fast on pit road

>tfw Jr. gets Daniel Bryan'd and the medical team refuses to clear him to ever compete again

You could even just get a "Technical Director" like F1 gave to Ross Brawn and have an older, popular driver or Crew Chief who hasn't got a team to invest in to hold the role to make the racing and raceday experience better.
