DISSOSHIEEEEET????

uhhh sauce?

he's confusing them with Toxik from Diapsiquir (more like Diaperqueer amirite?) who is a pedophile and went full catholic when he realized that satanism wasn't edgy enough for him (and that he might actually die if he kept pretending to be a satanist to justify his drug habit).

>more like Diaperqueer amirite?
got a chuckle out of me

I was referring to Mikko Aspa, from Deathspell Omega. He has a project called Nicole 12 that features a lot of things i'll get banned for if i say, just like that scorpion album.

They're a little overrated but they're serviceable dissonant/proggy/avant-gard/whatever black metal. That album in particular I like because it has less filler, though the compression kills it some for me. Usually I just listen to Blut Aus Nord or something if I'm feeling like listening to that kind of music.

Dissonant harmonies are this band's bread and butter, and a lot of people are into that. I'm not sure how to defend it in any other way. You're either into it, or you're not. Try something like Misþyrming's Söngvar elds og óreiðu or Kayo Dot's Choirs of the Eye if you're looking for something a little more mild.

no shit, thats news to me... what a sicko...

Inquisitors of Satan is really fucking good

haha am I right?

It's a tad more nuanced than that scorpion album, and I think you're more than well aware of that.

People often just claim that DsO's just about muh dissomemes. But really I just think that the band is very creative at using technicality to make interesting, bizarre sounding riffs. Actually, it's what I think is the difference between them and a lot of other bands that get labeled as dissomemes because most of those other bands don't have that vicious chaotic feel of DsO's music. Those other bands sound far more tame compared to DsO. DsO's level of intensity is less inspired from technical metal but more so from a record like Pure Holocaust by Immortal. To me, DsO is Pure Holocaust era Immortal with a more colorful sense of harmony and interesting interludes; which are either clean parts which serve as breaks from the intense chaos which, although this is initially tough to listen for if you aren't used to the seemingly dissonant intervals used in a lot of their music, the riffs build in/out of, prayer segments, and slight dark ambient bits which helps them have their own unique aesthetic.

yeh from what I can see, that band looks like some blatant pedoshit. Gross....

Really? Because the Scorpions album cover is just a 10 year-old model included for the sake of being shocking. The song itself has nothing to do with pedophilia. Skimming through Nicole 12's discog page the album covers seem to feature real bondage child porn and all of song titles seem to be related to pedophilia.

I don't really give a shit if the guy is a pedophile or not but it seems he has a much greater interest than most in pedophilia. Maybe he was abused as a kid, maybe he actually is a pedophile, I don't know, but his explorations of it seen through the samples on Substitute don't strike me as being particularly tactful or nuanced desu.

Technical proficiency and the whole black metal being deconstructed aspect of the trilogy.

First thing I do when I wake up is listen to Paracletus. Then I have breakfast, bitter waters of course. After I drink I have my shower where I listen to Paracletus again. As a cleanser, I like to go for a run where I typically listen to a lighter album like Si Monumentum Requires, Circumspice or even Infernal Battles. When I get back it's lunch time and I'll listen to Paracletus while my bitter waters quench my thirst. While I eat I like to enjoy a nice documentary, specifically one about Black Metal. Following that extended screen time I like to keep my mind sharp with some reading. So I'll read and interpret the lyrics to Paracletus, of course I have the album playing in the background so I'm 100% focused

By now my day is going pretty good and I usually want to share it with somebody else. So I'll call up some friends to hang out. We like to seek strength, justice and splendor together but mostly we listen to Paracletus. After we all listen to the album together in our listening circle we head back to my place for dinner where I serve up some bitter waters to quench our first. Just for the sake of ambiance, I'll play Paracletus in the background. Dinner conversation tends to be lively as we each share our favorite moments from Paracletus.

My friends go home after this, as the fun as to stop somewhere. I'm only human so pardon me if this is graphic but I do enjoy a bit of masturbation before I sleep. I'm not really adventurous, I masturbate to vanilla, lesbian sex and oral (paraclitoris licking is my personal favorite) but mostly just the cover art of Paracletus. Following that I clean myself up and unwind with a bit of music; Paracletus being my favorite. That's when I hop into the shower for a brief and relaxing warmth, I'm pretty clean by now I just want to ease up my muscles. Then it's time for bed. Being something of an audiophile I like to listen to music while I sleep. After I hit play to start up the song 'Epiklesis I' I drift to sleep

Literally the single best post in this entire website right now

Probably the best black metal band that is active right now, and one of the few that deserves respect. Their first full-length I'm particularly fond of, what I don't understand and would like to ask is what is NOT to like about this band, since I'm unable to think of anything.

only good track on this is the last one
