Jethro tull - aqualung
Portishead - Dummy
Orbital - Brown Album
if you don't mind hip hop check out Beastie Boys - Paul's Boutique, some of the best sample based production ever. Was produced by the Dust Brothers, who also made Beck's Odelay what it was.

Why do we keep making chart threads when there's already one in the catalog. This happens literally every time. I feel like it's just a select few who would rather make a new thread and have their chart on the top than give someone recs.

Still struggling with the loss of the original Topsters

inb4 someone disses Clouddead being on this one. It's a good album. Just because it's well known around here doesn't make it worse.
++Lonesome Crowded West, Art Blakey

++Hissing Fauna, RiL
+Pom Pom
Really temped to say "----- for Solange" but I haven't heard all of it so it wouldn't be fair

+++Endtroducing

You'd probably like Dalek if you havent listened to them yet.

...

Dalek - Absence
Oblivionized - Life's A Struggle, Give Up

Hum - You'd Prefer an Astronaut
Earl Sweatshirt - I Don't Like Shit, I Don't Go Outsidw
Dads - American Radass
J Dilla - Donuts
The Avalanches - Since I Left You
Suffocate for Fucks Sake - s/t
Spiritualized - Lazer Guided Melodies
LSD and the Search for God - S/t

rec for Travis Scott - Rodeo
ZGTO - a piece of the geto. it's trap, but it's more simple / trashy lyrically, but the production is 100% the most experimental production on a trap album in existence...but it's still extremely trap.

Rec for Ariel Pink - Pom Pom
Human Teenager - Animal Husbandry

hypnagogic pop as experimental as I've found anyway. made me drop Ariel Pink instantly.

rec for Radiohead - Kid A
Thighpaulsandra - the golden communion

probably the only album I've found anyway that sounds aware of kid a , but is completely different. More disturbing lyrics, some electroacoustic, drone, dark ambient at times, 100% wholesome art rock at other times. Try it

rec for the books - the lemon of pink
officerfishdumplings - officerfishdumplings finds your way home

maybe the only proper recommendation for the books. Just as genius, just different...more musical I guess, and more focus on busy / sonically dense and interesting sounds, versus how the books are a little more conceptual with their plunderphonics approach. still, if you like the books, can't see you not loving this desu.

Rec for Akira Yamoka - Silent Hill 2
Andrew Liles - My Long Accumulating Discontent

That soundtrack is amazing even without knowing the game...even though the songs definitely, even though the album flow is nice, don't progress in themselves. This is not the case for Long Accumulating discontent. not a soundtrack , it's a member of nurse with wound's album of dark ambient with everything from a kid singing a lullaby over chiptune noise, to orchestral sadness while drains empty and thunder cracks. and you don't need to play a game to enjoy it!

rec for Melt Banana - Cell Scape
Agaskodo Teliverek - Psycho Goulash

Deerhoof Rock friendly noise rock sensibility's, vocal performances that are sometimes softer than Deerhoof Satomi other times genuine screaming freak outs...with a hidden genius in there. 100% check it out!

eh

Jim o Rourke - Insignificance
Peace orchestra - Peace Orchestra
XTC - Drums and Wires
Tim Buckley - Starsailor

Miharu Koshi is amazing, check out Haruomi Hosono

Listened to Dummy and Paul's Boutique, like both but not huge into them (and I prefer Check Your Head generally). Gotta listen to Orbital though.

Yeah, I've never understood in particular why people hate 13 Blues. It's by far their best "rock" album.

Huh, interesting. Kinda reminds me of Coil mixed with Fuck Buttons from the snippets I heard. Will definitely try.

Sounds okay, really dubby.

Try Orbital or Pan Sonic.

Why are you so angry?

Paul Jebanasam – Continuum
Mihai Edrisch - L'un sans l'autre
Shpongle - Nothing Lasts... But Nothing Is Lost
The Caretaker - An Empty Bliss Beyond This World
Ulver - Teachings in Scilence
Vampillia - Alchemic Heart

mostly music i'm into at the moment, with a few more sentimental albums that stand out against the wall of angry black metal.

the 2 u asked 4 on my list are james ferraro skidrow and lil tracy tracy's manga

>King Crimson - Discipline
