I lived in Gainesville during that time getting masters. I remember before the game started all around campus people were excited and arrogant they were going g to win. By half time I went to Jimmy John's and everyone at the Swamp outside was quietly sitting with mild concern but oh man after it was over I went for a walk around campus and the dead silence was beautiful. Just absolutely beautiful. Then I remember sitting late that night finishing some work and heard rumors from my roommates that Urban Meyer had to be hospitalized. I knew he was fucking out of there that moment. Maybe not physically but mentally he was done.
