Giovinazzi to Sauber for 1 year, Leclerc to do what Giovinazzi is doing this year (Ferrari Test Driver, which isn't a total made up role either and involves a lot of sim work etc. For instance after Hungary FP1-2 Gio flew straight to Maranello and spent the entire night with engineers figuring out a setup that works for Ferrari, which ended up working well and I'm sure Ferrari appreciates this from Giovinazzi).
Gasly to Toro Rosso, Kvyat fucks off, Sainz stays. Pretty much a done deal at this point.
Ferrari Merc Red Bull all stay the same. Force India likely to stay the same as well.
The only real vaguely interesting seats going is Palmer's and Massa's and it's not an absurd thought for Williams to retain Massa instead of gambling on someone new (who is available anyway? Has to be 25+ because of Martini sponsorship).
Silly season is pretty much kill unless Vettel does a madman move for Merc or some shit which he obviously won't.

I will be very surprised if this happens. What would the point of Longbow owning Sauber be if their backed driver doesn't even drive for them? I guess it's all about money but Williams already have a paydriver, and it would be wise for them to have at least one driver who can actually extract something close to the maximum from the car. Even if you rate Ericsson honestly, it's not like he is really anywhere close to a great caliber, or even high caliber driver. Even the "bad" drivers in F1 nowadays are good all things considered, but there are also drivers on the grid who would be 2-4 tenths a lap faster just on skill alone.
Now this would be a great turnout although almost certainly not gonna happen because Nasr no longer has money. I always thought he was much better than he was given credit for, and his (for many different reasons) difficult 2016 kind of left him in a pretty poor light.

Would like to see it, but Nasr was slower than Ericsson in the dry, is a diva, and has no money. In the wet though he was pretty good, and he is a way more exciting driver.
