"Sir, do you know how fast you were going?"

What usually happens next in your country?

>slip them 100-200 baht (3-6 US dollars)

i get shot

>"Sir, do you know how fast you were going?"
>Yes as much as I'm allowed
>No you were oing much faster sir
>Nah maybe 5km/h faster
>You obviously were much faster
>No I wasn't
>This costs you 50 Euro
>Go catch criminals instead of harrassing drivers
>Now it costs 80

Then either you pay or call him a cunt and it costs 100+

In America?
Something like this
youtu.be/QVtefZncHGw?t=223

have fill out a bunch of paperwork

Get fined like 260 euros depending on your speed. It can range form like 85 euros to 360 or something.

Or if you went way more than 50km/h too fast you lose your drivers license and can be prosecuted.

Trying to slip cash into the officers pocket will get you arrested. In the past this has happened with Russian truck drivers.

>hello is quite quick this german wagon u heff
>sori oficer i drive only 10km faster
>ok, say helo to uncle
>bye oficer!

Like anyone gets stopped now a days.
You just get a fine straight to your mail. These fuckers are all over

Welcome to 1984. Isn't it wonderful? :^)

45 km/h over
2000 aud fine
Loss of licence for 6 months
You may drive the car home though

Usually it's "Do you know why I pulled you over?"
The reply to that is "No."
Then they tell you "You ran a stopsign" and give you a ticket
Me and someone else have both got unjust tickets for running a stopsign - idiot cops confuse our cars for the people who roll the stop in front of us, and what can you do? Your word against a cops, you auto-lose. Pretty annoying.

speeding tickets are rare in my state in urban/suburban areas. just go with the flow of traffic, since everyone goes about 10mph over. on the small state highways, in rural areas (and not the large interstates), the cops are pretty strict as they usually drop the speed limit 10mph in their town and pull anyone who goes a little bit over. It's a racket, and it's how these small towns fund their police department

>3~6 US dollars
Fucking kek

get fined like 40-400 euros
bribing them doesn't work like it used to anymore

I wouldn't know since I don't drive like a nigger.

Shooting begins immediately

You apologise and promise to be a good boy and hope they have sympathy and let you off. If the officer is in a bad mood then you're fucked.

I imagine if you offered a bribe then you'd end up in 10x worse trouble

It seems to be the standard in the world, revenue raising.

Sometimes if you're nice to the cop they'll let you off with a warning. But it really depends. If you're pulled over for going 5 over you're fucked because that cop has a stick up their ass and are just looking to bully someone. In that case if you're black you'll probably also get shot.

Get a dash cam.

same here except bribe should be at least 10$

>pull ilegally obtained handgun
>shoot the officer 3 times in the chest
>take a picture with my 4 years old cellphone
>post on facebook
>be praised in comments as a hero for killing "pig in uniform"
>a few days later be tortured and killed by other cops as revenge
Not what i would do but this kind of story gets on the news fairly often

Ask her what she's smoking cause it takes me 4+hours just to cover 23km.

Trying to bribe a cop with that amount will get your ass arrested in BG.

how much to bribe a cop in BG?

I'd say less than 20$ is an insult, but I have no first hand experience.
I know a foreigner got arrested for trying to bribe a cop with ~8$ a month ago.

>I imagine if you offered a bribe then you'd end up in 10x worse trouble
Anglo integrity. God bless the queen

I act polite and respectful, say that I was going too fast.

Then they give me a warning and I'm on my way.

"I'm sorry"
"Be more careful next time"

>In Thailand you have to tip the policeman

>get ticket
>Contest through some ticket agency
>State drops ticket because legal fees aren't worth it
>No points on license, half the ticket fee spent on lawyer

Most people don't do this, but it's what I have done both times.

Do other countries have shitty ticket quota systems like in America that makes everything cops do a competition?

>yeah i was speeding, how much is the ticket.
>i already pay so much taxes this is just a drop in the bucket
>ahve a nice evening mates
