DotD > TotD > Series 5 > Series 4 > Series 9 > Series 3 > Series 7 > Series 1 > Series 8 > Series 6 > Series 2

Nice try, cats.

I kinda enjoyed her the first time I watched her episodes, though on a rewatch, I can't get over how much of a chav she comes across as.

Found a pornstar that I think looks a bit like her.

Is it just me or does it seem like a lot of scripts in series 8 were written for Matt Smiths doctor? It wasn't till the second half of series 8 where Capaldi started to feel like his own doctor. Maybe they began series 8 thinking for certain that Matt was staying then he changed his mind?

Give me a scene from one of those episodes that you think was written for Matt

name

>Is it just me or does it seem like a lot of scripts in series 8 were written for Matt Smiths doctor?
It's just you talking crap. In fact, you've said the opposite of what happened.
The scripts were clearly written for the takes-no-shit Doctor who is not sure if he's a good man.

No, I don't think anything there was about Matt Smith. Some parts of 12th Doctor did not pan out, like his seeming forgetfulness, but that's about it.

And, well, Robot of Sherwood fencing scene.

Do you fantasise about treating her like an object too?

Capaldi was let down by Deep Breath as his first episode.

Robot of Sherwood, Kill the moon, Mummy on the Orient Express. come to mind. I believe the writer for kill the moon was originally written for Matt Smith.

Don't have. Source is watermarked on the image.
Oh you! Nah, don't go for blondes bleached or otherwise desu senpaitachi.

>kill the moon

Peter Harness

In April 2014 it was announced that he would be writing the seventh episode for the eighth series of Doctor Who, starring Peter Capaldi as the Twelfth Doctor.

how so?

Wikipedia says differently.

>The episode was originally written for Matt Smith's Eleventh Doctor. An early working title for the episode was "Return to Sarn", however, this was intended to be misleading. While briefing Harness on how to write the script, executive producer Steven Moffat told him to "Hinchcliffe the shit out of it for the first half", meaning, essentially, to make it frightening.

Come on Day was nowhere near the best the show has to offer, the ending was really rushed and forced.

>series 1 and 8 below series 7

I'm going to watch Suicide Squad and have some actual fun.

>I'm going to watch Suicide Squad and have some actual fun.
>Suicide Squad
>Actual Fun

Pick one.

didn't chris evans fuck her in the arse so hard she squirted or something? she wrote about it in her biography

I just watched Series 10 trailer. I'm hype.

Also, Bill looked qt in the "Doctor What?" scene.

Good joke.

You may be disappointed.

I'm going to commit suicide because nothing is fun anymore.

baker was GOAT

agreed

Today I listened to a play where Sixie scammed all the shareholders of a company that tried to replace Earth with a poor imitation. I'm still confused about the overall arc.

But then you'll miss Series 10.

We need a Mike Dean produced Doctor Who theme.

A lot of 6 through 8 is a big blur to me. I'm not even entirely sure about what happened to Peri or where Mel even came from.
People say Moffat's writing is complicated. They're dead wrong.

youtu.be/o3x4YF3EisE
What's the name of the soundtrack that's playing when he says that they're in the middle of a war? The action-y one?

Moffat's writing is complicated on purpose, although he's not as clever as he thinks he is, so plot doesn't come together.

Sixie was just incoherent. They randomly stuck retcon into Peri's story (And now she's married to Brian Blessed) and Mel appears to be a product of a time loop, which would be a great idea if they gave it any thought.

Ain't you lovely.

>Say something that you truly believe in that you feel will get you a lot of fire and shame:

I once saw someone say that Spare Parts is Doctor Who at its zenith. I disagree. In fact, I don't even think that it's very good at all.

Okay.

I think Bill is going to be a very fun and enjoyable companion and I'm totally fine with a female Doctor as logn as she's well written and they don't go "hurr durr im a girl now deal with it".
Also Capaldi's Doctor is only now starting to get defined and well-written so I really hope that he does series 11 at the very least.

if you never ever pee does that mean you don't have to drink anything?

I basically agree with all of this.

A few minutes into the Unknown and it's spooky. Kingston sounds also much more natural than the first series.

>One of my best friend is an archaeologist

Kek.

>I'm totally fine with a female Doctor as logn as she's well written and they don't go "hurr durr im a girl now deal with it".
I would agree, but I have absolutely zero faith in anyone who would choose to have a female Doctor to not produce hurr durr.

Prepare to be confused as fuck. I'm done with first three and I'm confused as fuck.

It's amazing how much River Song improves when she doesn't try to shag the Doctor.

I'm listening to it too.

>and they don't go "hurr durr im a girl now deal with it".
You know she would though. At least once.

That's good to hear. I've been hoping for River adventures that don't feature too much focus on the Doctor, or at least her wanting to shag him as an only way to relate.

Okay, this is going well. This feels like River in a McCoy story...I like it.

Plus, it's nice to see River react to the Doctor's personality, without the "husband" baggage.

>You're not human?
>Not even remotely.

This truly is good.

I'm already confuses and only 25 minutes in. But I like it.

All this.

Found it!

>I'm already confuses and only 25 minutes in. But I like it.
It's normal because everyone is crazy in this story. Next two are just confusing, while everyone is sane.

And Sixie is a CEO.

>the dalek is white

This picture isn't finished yet

So I'm wondering, do you guys think we have a chance of seeing classic series Time Lords in series 10? or do you think they will wait till the Moff is done to reintroduce Time Lords like Romana, the Rani, the Monk again?

He could. But would there be a point?

Yes. It can't just be MUH Doctor, Muh Rassilon and Muh Master forever, freshen things up and bring the old crew back.

I'd say it's better to bring in new Time Lords, maybe with implications. Monk or Rani are definitely not the household names, Romana is a product of a bygone era, actresses are dead, I think so nostalgia factor is weakened.

Is The Unknown Journey Into the Tardis done right?

Now when you point this out, maybe.

Nice McCoy dubs.

>And Sixie is a CEO.
Literally what?

The Unknown was bretty good desu. Will be interesting to see who River's new friend is.

So does River flirt with the Doctor in stories like this?

In the third story, Sixth Doctor wanted to investigate an evil corporation, so he bought it.

For the Unknown? No. But she does still have a good dynamic.

Gonna check out the next one now.

Sounds cool, tho would you please spoiler text next time?

It's like, the first scene.

>no flirting with Sylvester McCoy

Into the trash it goes

Oh, ok. Thought it was a reveal.

The specific plot doesn't really allow flirting, though she does call him a "clever boy" at one point.

That was offmic

>everyone hates River
>everyone listens to her audios

River might be a discount Bernice Summerfield outside of her mad lust for time cock, but she's actually quite entertaining and enjoyable outside of her lust for time cock.

Because one of the things some people dislike with River is that she seems almost too dependent with the Doctor, and that she can seem like just a flirty woman, with no hidden depths. These audios are a chance for her to show she's more than, as says, a "luster for time cock."

Holy shit according to Gallifrey Base the emoji episode is VNA level dark

Why did they ruin the Eleventh Doctor?

It's VNA level :)

>Rose is good companion

strongly disagree

Fun fact: Rachel, girl on the cover, is played by the daughter of Alex Kingston.

a better question is, why do they always ruin Dcotor Who every time it shows the slightest inclination towards getting good?

I was wondering why she can't act. So this is why.

low quality bait

Actually, there's a reason for her to sound like that.

Someone post that pobatti montage please

Tom's gone lads.

gr8 b8 m8

There's subtle difference between robot monotone and bad acting, and I think in this case she's on the wrong side.
