you know who's responsible, right?

wh*tey

coal literally saved europe from total deforestation

>forestugal

If your country isn't entirely green, it's either dystopian hellhole or boring rock.

this
my country has been almost entirely deforested for the sake of agriculture and it's fucking depressing

Why do only Finland, Sweden and Russia have forest? What is our masterplan?

Forests just stop in the middle of Russia. What a fascinating phenomenon.

do you have autism?

Civilization is for non-whites

i always thought iceland was the most beautiful rock in the world

It's because the winds blow from a dry place I think

*cough* Azores *cough*

From the grey concrete wastelands of Siberia? How interesting.

i hate you nordics who vacation in and around the Mediterranean
iceland is THE place to vacation

It was covered in birch forests when the settlers first arrived, but Iceland just isn't a very good place to grow trees, or any other plant for that matter. In fact, lack of quality timber was one of the reasons why the Alþing agreed to become vassals of Norway. Since they couldn't build ocean-faring vessels on their own, they feared a lack of merchant shipping could lead to total isolation of the island, which would be really bad in lean times, let alone famine, since even at the best of times Iceland has never been completely self-reliant.

Sweden is entirely green and it's a dystopian hellhole

why are you all coming here then

it's atlantic though

But there are forests on Iceland.

larger than 25 acres?

roughly the first tick on the map's scale

Don't know how large they are, but it wasn't exactly small like a park. It's nothing like here in mainland scandinavia. But at least they're not completely devoid of trees.

I was here, it's enough woods to be called a forest, isn't it? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ásbyrgi

Only 2% of Iceland is actually covered by forests

I want to live in Portugal. It's literal perfection.

>wh*te people in charge of not chopping down every tree they could find

They're not bald if there is 2% forest there.

Good thing they labeled the ocean as water, or I might not have known

How is it like being the smartest american alive?

>how to differentiate in the map water bodies from land without any forest

wtf how people from white areas do hunting?
