He was the best actor of our generation

He was the best actor of our generation

Prove me wrong

...

lol

I have to agree OP, although I wouldn't say it's because he was the one who had the most range.

I think it's a combination of his appearance, his demeanor, his actual talent and acting ability, all of it and him being casted in just the correct roles made him seem very real and believable in every single role he played. He was the character in every role.

fatass

He certainly was.

boogie nights ALONE gives him that title
>that gay kiss scene
jesus just thinking about makes me weepy

I'm glad Daniel Day Meme hasn't been posted yet, Sup Forums is slowly improving

i laughed

Hollywood actors, even him, are mostly shit anyways.

I think you forgot about adam sandler...

I know right, the hungarian acting scene, that's where it's at

>of our generation
what do you mean by this

Gandolfini.

...

Just realized he looks like a fat Chris Pine

tbf, Edward Norton, Gary Oldman and Tom Hanks are up there

I really liked him in Synechode, New York.

ITT: Jobronis

Any movies where he's likeable?
All his movies that I've watched he's an asshole and he plays it well so I think he was a legit asshole and hate him

here's your only (you)
try harder

I think he's (mostly) a sweetheart in State and Main. wholesome/10

watched Before the Devil Knows You're Dead yesterday, I have to agree,

what is some more essential PSHcore?

I've seen

>Synecdoche , New York
>Boogie Nights
>The Master
>Punch Drunk Love
>25th Hour
>The Big Lebowski

I'm guessing Capote is a must watch

My favorite performance of his was in Happiness. It's a great film all around but his performance is really something else. Dylan Baker is incredible too.

You could see in his performance in BTDKYD that he really knows how a coked up person acts lmao.

capote is fucking amazing. i don't think i've ever seen an actor take on a role in a biopic as accurately as PSH did in capote.

Even though Elba doesn't beat him. Elba is probably the best black actor out there, maybe Forest Whitaker could give him a run for his money.

Doubt my nigga, Doubt is one of his best movies. There are stellar performances from Meryl Streep, Amy Adams and Viola Davis too.

Magnolia
Patch Adams

>enter thread expecting 90% shitposting and arguments saying he's shit
>or making fun of his death
>or conspiracies

Pleasantly surprised. PSH was pretty great imo.

Boogie nights is good, I liked Happiness as well. Haven't seen synech or Punch Drunk

He wasn't born between 1980 - 2000

...

...

I actually think I've got that downloaded somewhere but in pretty shit quality, will try and find a better rip

I've got Magnolia as well but haven't set aside to time for it

Never actually heard of Doubt, I'll check it out
