In some ways I think I'm the opposite of autistic and not in a good way. I'm very good at recognizing people to the point where I have to debate with myself over whether or not I should acknowledge somebody because they probably won't recognize me and it'll probably be weird. I'm also pretty in tune to people's facial expressions, so the slightest change when I'm in the middle of a conversation can throw my train of thought.

Damn. I still sound kind of autistic.

For me, the essential feel for this album is empathy and discontent with life/the society.

I think that big part of empathising with this album is based on the desire of being a social person in a certain kind of way, more specifically, on doing justice for people with similar psychologic/physic characteristic to the narrator (Jarvis Cocker).

I never thought I might be autistic until I had my first girlfriend recently. We broke up a month in because we weren't really going anywhere, we're still friends and I've been able to move on easily, but I think the reason why we broke up was because I was just terrible at showing my feeling towards her, which is why we weren't going anywhere.

Damn I got 27 too, you really think you (and by extension I) are on the spectrum? I guess I wouldn't be surprised.
