>REMINDER FOR THE 24TH Counts will get under way when polls close at 22:00 GMT Thursday, 23 June at 382 local centres around the UK. These local results will be declared as the counts are completed before being collated at 12 regional centres, which will also declare the totals for each side. There will be a rolling total so the time at which one side reaches the point of being mathematically unbeatable depends on how quickly the vote are counted and how close the results are running. It is a safe bet that from 4am onwards there should be pretty clear picture of which way the vote is going. A chief counting officer will announce the overall result at Manchester Town Hall. There will be no exit poll. vine.co/v/ilBVXpEY2Uw theguardian.com/politics/2016/jun/19/eu-referendum-result-polls-britain-europe >CAMPAIGN ORGANISATIONS voteleavetakecontrol.org/organise leave.eu/ grassrootsout.co.uk/join-us ukip.org/volunteer conservativesforbritain.org/sign-up/ labourleave.org/

If England and Wales qualify, are we more or less likely to see a Leave?
On one hand, the traveling fans are probably anti-EU and won't get to vote, but on the other hand, patriotism and flags everywhere.

EU PARLIAMENT DOES NOT HAVE LEGISLATIVE POWERS AND IS DEPENDENT ON AN UNELECTED EXECUTIVE TO PROPOSE LAW.. THE EXECUTIVE CAN MAKE LAW AND CAN BYPASS THE EU PARLIAMENT BY MAKING THE LAW A REGULATION INSTEAD. THE EXECUTIVE HAS MORE LEGISLATIVE POWERS THAN THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT.

I think the GE turnout was around 66% No way it will be higher than that.

What are you trying to say OP? Corbyn should be Remain's cheerleader instead of Cameron? Do you know that Corbyn campaigned to leave the EU for 30 years but now has to say stay because his party makes him do that as their leader?
Easton Ramirez
I wish I could vote for Leave and help the rest of you escape the clutches of the EU.
Julian Lopez
I would back leave on a 50% turnout
Jeremiah Reyes
Scotland has a small electorate and Scottish independence was perceived as a bigger thing than EU membership.

I think we can all agree that the tragic death of St Jo of Remainia at the hands of an evil racist neo-nazi was definitely not an MKUltra drone attack activated at last week's Bilderberger summit in order to launch the second most oppressive psy op in history after the holohoax.

Islam is the only way we can get rid of degeneracy my friend.
Why haven't the LEAVE campaign brought up how pathetic it is that the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom unsuccessfully begged unelected bureaucrats to let him decide British welfare policy?
Surely if they highlighted this to the public they would be outraged?

Don't you think it's a little oddly timed? A young, (relatively) attractive mother of two MP is brutally killed by someone spouting far right rhetoric just as we gain a healthy lead in the polls. It's not as if this sort of thing hasn't happened before

Most recent ones after the Cox thing had Leave level pegging with Remain at about 44% each.
Hopefully since campaigning is back on it'll perk up to over 50% again. Especially because of the PMs cock ups on QT.
I'll say 70% I reckon people will come out and vote Leave as their first vote in a long time. Remain will have a tough time with turnout, especially amongst young people.
I don't think this campaign has been as engaging as the Scottish one. A lot of people don't really give a shit about the EU one way or the other. Scottish independence was perceived as a bigger issue than EU membership is as well.
If turnouts 50% Leave almost certainly wins.

>talking to Scottish friend about Brexit. >Says he wants to stay in the EU because he won't have to pay Import tax. >I say that they still have to pay tons of fucking taxes to the EU anyways >He still doesn't move from his stance and says I don't get to have an opinion because I don't live there.
How do I respond to this?

I used to live in Tower Hamlets. I'd walk down Whitechapel and be the only white face in the street. It might as well have been Kabul what with the burqas and mosques. I liked the walk into the city, but would have to nearly get to Bank to see white people. That's not right. That's not 'integration', it's just a ghetto.
Justin Jones
Tell him that the EU is the one that decides import tax while if we were outside of it, we could vote in a government to completely abolish it.
Also point out that he probably loses more money a year due to VAT which can't be changed due to EU law than he saves on import duties.

Thanks friend.
Did he support independence? If so ask him how he can justify voting to Remain. Also remind him that if we Leave the Scottish Parliament will have more powers
Nicholas Thomas
It's pretty embarrassing but I admire Corbyn for not saying anything much in support of the EU rather than constantly lie for Remain through gritted teeth. Still that means someone else has to do the job and it looks like Cameron got the short straw. But do people honestly like Cameron over Boris who is cheerleading for the other side?
