Literally who?

>actual good composer in charge of composing a symphony in the classical style

>20th century hack in charge of composing a symphony in the classical style

He's great. Definitely deserving of more recognition. Consider that piano trio is his first opus at age 20 and those modulations are incredibly sophisticated.

Give me choir music that sounds like this timestamp:

youtu.be/L1AjTdQ2OeY?t=65

Its just called neoclassical because its based on structure and form rather than emotional manipulation.

It's a clear (bad) attempt at reproducing the classical style.

>thinking it's supposed to reproduce the style
It's more in line with what Bach did mixing the french, German and Italian styles of the time together. Neoclassical mixes the forms and classical style with more modern harmonies and things so it's not trying to be someting that exists. Rather update it.

trying to remember which 20th century composer made a weird music video with himself jumping in slow mo

help
