The DIY instrumentals on McCartney bespoke a whimsy and newfound freedom. This one was recorded on a 16-track with an engineer in attendance. Its songs are mere doodles, incomplete demos by a man who scores an occasional hit in order to prove he's a genius. Which he isn't. C-

Never heard of that Beach Boys one, i've found all the others in Thrift Stores though. Switched on Bach is really cool.
