Don’t watch the second half unless you are a fan of rhythmic fractal experiments. First half is good. youtube.com/watch?v=sCDipGVixEg >lofi chill 24/7 and gaming hiphop B E A T S >lil kim sings about her penis envy >cute visuals
hey its us the pablo collective and here are two tracks for an album thats most likely going to drop in february, and early in it, so mark your calenders friends.
we hope you enjoy these two tracks, and the full album when it comes out soon!
>tags don't do it justice >experimental hip-hop with elements of industrial, noise, ambient, and psychedelic music/rock >even if you don't like it, i can probs guarantee it's like nothing you've heard before
we might be releasing another single within the next couple days (not sure yet though) so keep an eye on that
also ill be giving feedback on soundcloud under my main (tau-9), and ill return any feedback left on the pablo soundcloud
>indie rock music with math rock and post-rock elements
you guys sound very professional and this might sound arbitrary but I think you should put some more effort into album art / general aesthetic. the MS paint-esque covers don't align well with the well-produced sound
i like how you guys use space and let the instrumental aspect breathe, but i'm not sold on the voice i'm hearing. I'm not sure how to suggest a way to "improve" as it's your voice but it sounds a little weak to me
Christopher Sanchez
yea I definitely understand that criticism on the vocals, this album is the first time I've ever actually recorded myself rapping that's been released, so it's a bit shaky at times. However, as the album went on, I think I got a bit better at it, so once you see the rest of the album, there'll be some more confidence on a lot of the tracks

this is so original and so unique and just so cosy to sit down n listen to will always recc this the sound and production and everything is so top-notch great voice, matches instrumental so well, overall amazing track

You have a very specific sound that people look for now. I think....but I like it. Just came out with our ep. I’m very proud of it. Rec and mastered in bmore
just dropped a new track, really satisfied with this one.
usual good shit
i used to be really into the old dubstep artists like skream, coki, mala, etc.. so its kinda nice seeing someone follow a sorta older style with a modern touch . Coffee and Cigarettes is a good track, very well produced with a good mix. smooth bass, nice synths, and i love that piano youve got going. good shit :)
Made a cross between Fantasia and the Tetris soundtrack (8-bit classical). It's not perfect but it's my first attempt at both electronic composition as well as animation/video editing. The best sections are marked with asteriks in the description so feel free to skip around!
This is me Nice job guys, left comments on the tracks.
Probably could use a little more work all around, it's hard to tell what to think because it sort of sounds unfinished.
You didn't post a link friendo.
I said this yesterday but it bears repeating. The ideas are super interesting, but you'd really do well to get yourself a better vocal mic, it would really give it the punch I think it needs to really realize the ideas to their fullest potential. Good job so far though!
Hello again friend, nice work, nice dreamy aesthetic. I like the video editing too, it makes me chuckle.
Nice production. The music is definitely generic, but you're doing it well for what it is.
It's sort of baffling how much feedback you've gotten given how trash your music is. Shitty production, beats that are either extremely lazily written, or even less impressive, just shittily chosen, awful lyrics, awful performance.
I'm sort of working on a website designed for self promotion where there's a point system. You get points for either leaving critiques or compliments, both in a separate category, the critiques are kept private and the compliments show up on the track like in SC, or points for sharing the music on another site like FB or Reddit or Twitter. Then you spend the points on posting tracks to your profile, and once they're up you can spend point on posting the tracks in the "share threads" that would be sort of like the boards on Sup Forums or reddit. The site itself would be called sharethread. That way nobody has to feel ashamed about self promotion, which is largely frowned upon in most places on the internet, and it would ensure that nobody would be able to just dump their shit without contributing to the community, or spam. Long ways away though.
this is the only acceptable incorporation of the ps2 startup I've ever heard.
10/10 would sample. Good playing
you sound kinda stiff yo. Loosen up
interesting production. You should invest in a new mic.
man this is fucking dope! Totally back this. Everybody check it out!
The keys don't match and it's really jarring. You can use a tuner (your DAW has one) if you can't match the keys by ear.
man.. it's like you took the concept of 4 bar loop boom bap and said "can I make this worse." 2 bar loops? Seriously? I'm sorry dude listening to this is like musical torture. Show some effort.
Yo what are you using for drums?? They are insane
these are pretty fun for what they are, great work on the video as well
>Yo what are you using for drums?? They are insane Thanks for listening, mayne. I'm just using EZ Drummer for the samples. The programming is customized per track. It helps to have a basic electronic drum set that you can play the beats into MIDI with. The fucking secret to MIDI drums is to vary the fuck out of your volumes for each note. Volume and dynamics are so fucking important for realistic drums....
Checking your shit out now. Will leave you comment on SC.
Caleb Perry
>EZ Drummer Oh of course it is. I figured it was that or superior
Easton Reyes
also move individual hits very slightly ahead and behind the beat.
Alexander Jackson
Yes! This very much. This is why using a midi drum set is helpful. You don't have to be an excellent drummer but you can use it to create excellent drumbeats. Pic related
Jack Martin
wow this is hella good hot girl too lol followed & liked
