"Be careful not to choke on your aspirations, Director."
Who else thought that Vader was the best part of this movie?

Me. Vader was awesome. That line in particular was incredibly high-quality dialogue. How long did it take to craft that exquisite line? I almost couldn't concentrate on the remainder of the movie because that line had me in stitches.
Me. That last part where he boards the ship was fucking terrifying. Imagine being that rebel trying to get the door open while death is taking your comrades.
But damn it was cool. My inner child was ecstatic.
So fucking EPIC
Dude man this is just like star wars on steroids, I was so hype
It was so epic and brave and different how they all died at the end
Vader going ham on the rebels was the greatest scene in cinema this year, bar none
Really had a lot of depth and characterization and good pacing
It rivals revenge of the sith for me as best star wars movie
>Vader didn't pun in OT
youtube.com
What the fuck was with his neck in the movie? Its like the helmet wasn't sealed. It really bothered me. Him going apeshit on rebels was alright but I honestly would've also liked just no lightsabers in the movie
>I would have liked no lightsabers in the movie
Stop pretending star wars without the Jedi is interesting
They were trying to make the costume look cheap like it did in 77
Agreed, definitely one of THE best Star wars movies.
ROGUE ONE ROGUE ONE ROGUE ONE ROGUE ONE ROGUE ONE
how is that a pun?
My FAVORITE part is how it's just so star warsy
All the blaster effects and ships looked so cool. Just so COOL.
I liked how it was so mature too. Much better than a children's movie but way more entertaining than just a regular boring old war movie without looking like star wars
They made it look worse, good job on them
Ok it's not a pun, but the line is clearly meant to be humorous
How are you a pun? Bitch
not really, it's supposed to be sinister
I liked the line Vader said earlier in the scene, "Welcome to my fire castle lair, Krennic. Things are really heating up."
Kek
Is this pasta?
Anyone who likes Darth Deadpool is a fucking pleb.
> Dont "Force" me to kill you director
Thought this line was better
>his mask isn't even secured to his fucking neck
Humorous does not equal pun. Puns are fucking cheap shit. Vader went from snarky badass to le quipmeister.
His cape looked like shit too. Really thin, like a halloween costume.
Ha ha,
you caught me
IKR, i thought going in that modern CGI would never capture that feel the originals had, but it still nailed it
More like the worst.
Absolutely lame.
And that stupid ass fortress he was in was retarded.
>I once killed a room full of children because I had a bad dream about my wife's children dying during birth, Director. Now get out
I must have seen a different cut of the film than you
>implying my favorite part isn't the ships
Idk if you're memeing but the only reason at-ats were a problem on the battle of hoth was because the rebels had anti infantry and anti air not anti armor on hoth and that alone let to the need to improvise with the tow cables. Bombers and anti armor would defeat them just like in rogue one. They aren't made of meme armor
AT-ATs seem like a stupid move with all that water and island bullshit
I didn't even know Tarkin wasn't real until afterwards
I was floored by this deeply engrossing masterpiece
Webm of Vader fucking shit up when?
They had X-wings on Hoth, though, they just didn't use them.
Hee hee
desu I try to like every movie i pay to see. with that in mind this line did not work at all.
>we pretend were red reddit media the thread
its okay everything other than OT are fan fiction starwars has been dead after episode 6
>I didn't even know Tarkin wasn't real until afterwards
do you think he rose from the dead to get dat rogue one paycheck?
His first name is Darth. STOP CALLING HIM VADER.
This whole thread is bait but yes I can't think of a thing to change. Make it longer. Heard Lucas is directing immediate sequel
I like this.
