This year i want to watch movies more often at least one every day or so but i doubt it.

I want to start with a realistic number like 50 so please each post recommend me one.

TLDR: Each post name a movie please.

possible worlds

Tokyo Story

Soy Cuba

op, please DO NOT watch those movies:
they are mediocre at best
acquaint yourself with the classics

my rec is McCabe & Mrs Miller (Altman, 1971)

The Bill Douglas Trilogy

OP - that's 1 a week, more/less.

Start with the Sight & Sound list, and then move your goal - if you want to get into film, I think a healthy habit is 100 films a year in a theater, plus at least 100 more at home that you've not seen. Opinions vary, but that's a start. Watch classics at home and go to the theater regularly.

Vanishing Point
Purple Rose of Cairo
Charade
Klute

You might be right, i most likely watcha close number to that a year just by fucking around, if i'm going to actually try it i might as well go for 100

The Apartment
King Rat

The Passion of Joan of Arc

Wake in Fright

begotten

Once Upon A Time In America

Jacob's Ladder

Logan's Run

Ordet

Whiplash was pretty good but I think the bald man had autism.

My thing, not for everyone but it works for me:

>No DC
>No Marvel
>No Star Wars
>Nothing animated

Enjoy.

Elite Squad

Shakes the Clown

OP did not specifically ask for shit tier, so. . . . .

To be fair, there's some decent shit in there, but yeah, there really is so much better shit to watch first.

One Flew Over A Cuckoo's Nest

>Nothing animated
Why not?
Prince of Egypt or American Pop are at least worth a watch

Just a matter of taste, not a comment on quality.

That's fair.

>50 films
>1 year

I watch that many in 2,5 weeks

Here's some Eastern European kino for you:

>Andrei Rublev by Andrei Tarkovsky
>Solaris by Andrei Tarkovsky
>Marketa Lazarova by Frantisec Vlacil
>On The Silver Glove by Andrzej Zulawski

The death of mr Lazarescu

Are you sure you're old enough to post on this site?

Haven't seen Marketa Lazarova, but will vouch for the other three. They were all great.

how many days are 2,5 weeks?

It's great my man, maybe a tad long for most people but this has some amazing cinematography.
