Are senior affiliates supposed to be nearly impossible to find? Currently in year 2020, I went from third division to winning the first division, but I can't seem to find one to save my fucking life. I have around 85k players loaded, if that matters.
I understand that when looking for a senior affiliate, you're basically looking for a club to give you money and free loans, but to not be able to find a single one in 4 or 5 years, despite the rise in reputation and my scouting knowledge, seems odd. Or is my board just fucking retarded?
Any suggestions for this tactic? I've been trying to play a fast paced football, but somehow it never works

By fast I meant recovering the ball deep and launching fast counters.
I do, at least the widemen are quite fast for this level.

if you want to recover the ball deep i would suggest putting the 2 midfield players in the DM positions because that way they'll naturally start off much deeper
also would recommend taking close down more off and giving it to certain players as a PI instead because if you're closing down more as a team your back line will be pressing harder than a team generally expecting to win the ball deep would (i think)

I get it every 2 years and missed the last one, the wait is killing me but I don't want to start a new game only to migrate over in a few months.
FM is just annual roster/league updates with a change to the ME. With a new feature that looks "big" but is actually completely negligible.

According to Wiki, 80+ percent of the people in the area speak a variation of Malay as their first language. In FM there are three cities in the area. The Area has no language set for some reason, neither do the other cities. I've been browsing the db and tried some changes. Putting Malay at 100 in the area while removing it from the city means that the regens only speak "good" Malay more often than not, sometimes Fluent, sometimes Basic.
I wonder why they can't just speak Thai to each other since they all understand it. Why do they have to learn Malay.

IRL, crosses always have been very low percentage. FM17 apparently has an even lower percentage than what happens IRL notably in reaction to FM16 where a couple of crosses would see you being elected "Man of the Match".
first match after posting this I get two cross assists lol. Wingers still work well but most of my goals created by them are either 5 yard passes or just them shooting
(although the other winger played 90 minutes without completing a single cross)
